I made the very bad mistake of giving out my phone number to a very attractive person who kept insisting on it. I didn't for a week, then in a moment of weakness, did. I received a text at 3am saying it was that person and instead of being 25 like original now it was 17. The conversation carried on, I assumed it was a fake but should have shut it down immediately. The next day I get a call from an assumed father whose wife wants to put me in jail, register as a sexual predator but to call him and "we can work something out." Obviously a bribe or some type of extortion was coming next. I block the number from messaging and phone voice mail. I hope the matter is closed but who knows with these people. It was my mistake and I guess you can't trust anyone to be truthful on any of these dating sites, which is a shame.

Terrible service - if you can't remember your password or typed it wrong, you never get the link to reset it. You have to find the e-mail address on-line to get ahold of someone to help. Can take days. And then someone blocked me - I really had not posted anything inappropriate - though many do and they are still there! - and I didn't know what happened until I tried to set up a new account with the same e-mail off the internet instead of the app. All the app told me was my password was invalid. I received no notice of this blocking or why. Lots of liars, users and prostitutes, or people looking to buy sex. STAY AWAY FROM MEETME!

I have been locked out several times a year. I use a computer but that doesnt matter. I bought a smartphone because the verification process said to load meetme app. On my computer, cant do that. Got on the verification after downloading the app. Checked the two boxes, clicked get started, went right back the the first screen and it circles back to the same screen never sending an email as described. I usually have to write support many emails before something happens. This is getting very tiring.

Photo verification 11 times is a joke. Porn sites sent as member is a joke. Under age girls all over this site is a joke. Currently finding controlling member and taking personal action after having my personal info hacked within hours of leaving site. Oh and you cannot remove your profile or email. It's all a scam...

This site is trash if you want to just meet people for a platonic friendship. All you have are cam girls trying to scam you for diamonds and fake bots. There used to be a good feature to meetme called discuss and they took it away. Now this sites garbage. Stay away.

Why do you guys keep deleting my comment? Yet when there were two guys on there harassing me, you didn't delete not a single comment they made!. One of them called me fat, a slut, a nasty black slave and all kinds of other things. But when I called him a stupid wetback who needed to go back to Mexico you consistently deleted my comment. Don't take my money from me and deny me my first amendment right! Fix this site! You need to do a security check for bots and fake profiles, you need to be able to recognize genitalia so women won't constantly receive $#*! pics, and you need to allow people to actually speak their minds.

Most middle aged women on the site are overweight and ugly. The pretty ones are few and far between too far too picky and unrealistic in what they want. The young ones are too stupid. One feature that could be ok if they would allow saving of posted pics. For those who like to collect pics. One major annoying thing is pics of women with their boyfriends and teenage brats or parents. Goal is dating the women not their whole family. My final complaint is the lights are on their profiles but nobody ever responds to inquiries. Only had one real person in whom I met up close and she was not like the person in her profile. If ugly was in dictionary her pic would be there. Overall, the goal on many social sites free or otherwise is to set your expectations low enough and nobody will be disappointed.

I was on this site for only a week and the men that I spoke with had absolutely no manners at all. It was all just about sex and these men were just all garbage that no other woman wants! Stay away. It's even worse than plenty of snakes!

MeetMe is nothing but fake profiles, bots, and /or scammers trying to push you to their website or snapchat so they can hit you up for money and/or sell sex. This site used to be so much better, but everytime I return it gets worse and worse... more bots, more scammers, and more selling sex. MeetMe does a horrible job of screening profiles, from actual fake photos to people actually posting sexual services, or trying to get you to join their sex website, or go to snapchat... which is usually code for money transaction, related to sex and/or scammers. With the common scam on Snapchat being, i'll come see you I just need 10 dollars for gas or something to that effect. MeetMe is getting a terrible reputation, one which is well earned. They alway had scammers but they used to have a lot real people as well... but now the "normal/real" people are rare and hard to find.

I'm shocked at the amount of spam and scam on MeetMe. Their customer service doesn't care about the integrity of the site. Service quality is very low, as well as chances of finding a genuine lady. I was flooded with messages, but all of them were short and meaningless with no reference to my profile. I could see it easily that my profile wasn't read and that the ladies were not serious. MeetMe is totally useless for those looking for relationship!

There are a lot of scammers there befriending people and using other people's photos they are typical Africans trying to get money from people. With sad stories like they parents died when they were young, they have nobody in the world. Like really no relatives. Thats the red flags look for it then they say they have to go get inheritance in Benin Africa and a large amount of monies has to be paid for taxes etc. and their account it Blocked and the bank told them that they have to send a certain amount of money to unblock the account. PEOPLE DON"T FALL FOR IT! Once they start asking for money report them as spam or fake. These Africans are stealing people's Identity all over the world and deceiving them. Please beware...

During the last weeks I've used several dating sites. I also came across Meetme. Compared to other online dating sites like Mingle2day and eHarmony I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. But compared to all the other sites I've came across during the last weeks (which were a waste of time to be honest) I think Meetme is really above average. Certainly, it is worth a try. It is easy to use and you will find many members and in my opinion most of them are real and genuine

On the male end of things, Finding a real human being to chat with on meetme is nearly impossible, The profiles are all fake to promote malicious websites, the app and website mostly contains catfishes and internet scammers, The folks who are real have been regulars on the website for years some going back as far as when it went by the name myyearbook, these people aren't all there mentally and respond with anger and resentment to those who seem curious enough to chat with them. Long story short, none of the profiles are real and those that are exibit signs of anti social behavior and gatekeeping mentality. Not a good app for social interactions, but a good place to get scammed or catfished.

I can tell you a long story about how I went on meetme just for fun and left with love. Long story short I met the love of my life in 2012 and a year later started dating, our 2 year anniversary is coming in a couple off weeks and I'm so excited. Yea at first I thought he was catfish but we finally meet on my graduation day and feel even in more love by first sight. We are still going strong and take turns visiting each other since he's 2 hours away. I couldn't ask for a better man in my life. Take it from me I never thought I could be so deeply in love with a person I met online. I hope you guys can be as lucky as me!
