Downhill

I never write reviews but the level of rudeness and overpriced service pushed me to do so. Have ordered a couple of the sterling silver bead bracelets on natural cord over the years from Me & Ro which have needed the cord replaced due to wearing out and ultimately breaking. I recently sent one in for a new cord, which is approximately 8 inches long and a knot needs to be tied at the end. I was charged $65- half the price of the bracelet! Customer service was rude and dismissive when I questioned the exorbitant price increase. I will never purchase their jewelry again with these ludicrous repair prices.

My spouse purchased, for my early March birthday, a Me&Ro piece of jewelry. The day after she purchased it, we returned to the store on my birthday to request a longer chain (gold). We were advised the piece would need to be sent to the studio to accommodate our request. We paid the additional monies, and left with the expectation we would receive the updated piece within 2 weeks. 3.5 months later, not only have we had to chase down Customer Service department, when they finally sent back the piece, they had done nothing to it. As we challenged them, they were not only rude, no apology and had the audacity to use the pandemic for what is at EOD, terrible service, follow-up.

Have delt with jewelry business Me and Ro in NYC. First purchase in Chicago. Terrible, nasty help, and for months could or would not repair one there own chains. Went out of business there. Now open in So Ho NYC. Like an idiot bought a piece of jewelry from them again. Same mess as before. This time they said they ran out chain for ny necklace. The chain was a simple light gold chain. Anyone could find it just about in any jewelry store. Months later after dealing with their nasty help, I received ny necklace. Never again. Beware before u buy from them. They will go out of business.as far as I know one partner is long gone. Not nice people!

Disappointing Service
November 16, 2023

I am very disappointed with the return policy of 10 days. In the past Me and Ro has been a great place for gifts for my wife. I ordered a couple of items for her birthday. I needed them to arrive before her birthday. I placed the order on 11/3 and it arrived on 11/8. She received them on 11/13. She wanted to "exchange" them for a couple other items only to find out that we were already beyond the return policy. The return policy is not very friendly for gift giving On top of that when I reached out I was completely ghosted!
