Tried to get an investment loan from Manulife "bank". AFTER performing two credit pulls, they tell me that the investment loans can only be used for their high fee 2.00% MER funds. I was communicating with one of their agents for months before I completed paper work. That same day, they say that I can only purchase their mutual funds in a taxable investment account. Disappointing that this is nowhere to be seen on their website!
