I use to love this site years ago but something changed. The new management have RUINED it. No matter what your email setting is they wont stop sending you emails and there is no way to delete your account. Do NOT use this site.
Mandy is a great place to start for any aspiring actors. It has helped me to gain knowledge of the type of work available in this industry, and has made me aware of what I need to obtain to be considered. I will say that after many applications I am yet to land a job, however the auditioning opportunities have helped me grow massively as an actor.

They send out dozens of so called job listings but not a single person responds when you apply. When I looked at the traffic counter in a 2 month period and 12 people had viewed my profile. I have a feeling that 9 of those visits were from myself looking at the damn profile.
They send out jobs that have nothing to do with what I actually do.
I think they are taking advantage of people that are struggling to find work and every single person I have spoken to about Mandy.com have said it was a scam and a total waste of money.
I wish I had have found the reviews before signing up for a year.
Please don't give them your money!

I don't know anybody, ANYBODY, in the industry that's gotten a crew job through mandy.com - it is definitely not worth the £20 a month fee. You will not get enough work through mandy to cover the costs.
The acting side of the website is even worse. Generally there seems to be absolutely no vetting process on this site - the quality of jobs posted is just not high enough. Avoid.

Mandy's website gives a crisp clean no nonsense glance at jobs looking for actors for various roles on Film, Tv, Stage and other locations.
Jobs are briefly described then if you feel it's for you you can click on the ad to be taken to a fuller explanation as to what their client is looking for.
Jobs are varied but if you're looking for a particular type of work there is a search facility to help you find it. Good luck and break a leg folks.
I used the Mandy site early in my career and it led to some connections that have lasted almost 20 years! It gives you a variety of options, from beginner projects to fully formed professional ones. It's also a great place to make contacts in the industry and in places around the world!

As a parent setting up a profile for a child it's important to use a site that I can trust with my child's image and information. Mandy also has great resource videos for parents of children interested in getting into show business. As my child is just starting out I would need to return in a few months to give a follow-up of Mandy's services.

I just started using Mandy and I love it to find acting jobs near me (we'll see if I actually get anywhere though) It provides a clear description of all casting calls and users can apply with the click of a button, which provides employers access to your profile. From there, employers can directly reach out to you to help you jumpstart your career or progress it forward!

Mandy has so many opportunities available aside from just castings. They also have castings that many of the other sites are showing so this is a great way to get all the available casting info, along with camps/programs... anything that can help you.

Mandy is great to find a job for anything from the film industry but specifically acting. There's is always an opportunity that you can apply or fit your skills and also you don't need and agent like in Spotlight so is a great place to start.

This website encourages you to spend quite a bit of time and effort and I personally haven't benefited from any of it. I find more work meeting real people, taking on jobs sometimes purely to prove my work ethic or network etc etc.

I am a professional spotlight actor and voice over artist
In the beginning CCP was a great forum. But since changing their name and the site, well its simply a money pit, you pay for both listings such a con. The jobs now are simply low paid scrape the bottom of the barrel jobs and to be honest i have not had a response to a single application in over a year. Total waste of time, I have now removed myself.
Please do not waste your money or time.
Mandy is a great way to start to book gigs when you are just starting out. When you don't have connections yet it can seem impossible to get on set but this can definitely help get your foot in the door. It can be frustrating at times not always getting a response or being able to talk in person to someone about why you want the job but definitely worth it.

Im new to acting and i have already lost some money with some agencies claiming that they will get me enough jobs. But when i found mandy website, i registered for free and so far with a free account, i have managed to get 1 gig and few auditions. THis is incredible. I have never got a single audition yet with modelling agencies. Im soon gonna become a paid member and see whats in store. Thanks Mandy.
