Have tried loads of acting job websites and although Mandy is not my absolute favourite it's definitely in the top 2! Easy to use although could do with a couple more features. Well worth it though as i've landed a big job in 2 months so worth it already!
New to the program - so far looks like it will provide valuable information. It would be beneficial if paid memberships were for shorter periods than 12 months. 1-3-6-12 months options with varied memberships fees should be considered.

I've found the site very easy to use and the jobs to be professional. There's not a huge amount of work posted and you do have to be quick to apply, but so far on my free trial I've had one job and been short listed for several others. Will keep using.

I took a break from the industry for a few years and just filled out my new profile on Mandy.com. Back when I was in film school and after, it was the go-to place for industry jobs and was very helpful at finding quality productions. From what I can tell so far, the searches appear to have good results and are user friendly. It promises to still be a very valuable resource. I'm looking forward to landing some jobs again.
Overall Mandy has been really helpful in my job search and gives a lot of specific information that helps me make a decision on which jobs I want to apply for. It is also helpful because it organizes things by location and specific job type.

Hello Mandy. I wanted to created a profile and started doing so. The amount of your "stars" and many of the reviews available on your site worried me a great deal. So I submitted a question and it has been 2 days you cannot answer it. I obviously quit an idea of registering with you not speaking of paying for any of your services. People seem to be right, you guys are not even serious and you want "customers" to pay for premium package?... Good luck finding customers with this approach!

Mandy is an overall great resource for professionals in the entertainment industry. They seem to have listings for jobs across the spectrum, from small, personal needs to larger companies. The only issue I have so far is the price point, it does seem too expensive for a monthly account. It would be nice if they added a student discount or new membership discounts.

This website is great for independent performers and I would recommend anyone who is looking for more work whether it's for acting, singing or dancing to sign up. So many opportunities with Mandy.com. It takes a little while to set up your profile, but once it's all done you don't have to do it again and it's all worth it in the end.

I just recently joined Mandy and i love it because it has opened doors of opportunity that i thought i would never come across. At first i had my doubt about joining Mandy because i have tried out few casting sites and it was a total disappointment. I'm so glad i left my doubt aside and gave this a trial. I joined Mandy/Film & TV pro once i became a pro Make up artist. After paying £120.00 a year for a paid membership. I never got offered any jobs posted on the site. I wasted £120.00 of my own money on this garbage site. They only have very few jobs advertised for make up artist. Even though they claim your application gets to the top as you have a premium membership.ABSOLUTE LIES !
I just think Film & TV pro is a travesty.
Bring back MANDY which was free to apply for jobs.
Mandy promotes a constant stream of acting opportunities, some are well paid opportunities that could really help advance your acting career but they are in amongst a lot of unpaid student/voluntary jobs, so you have to sift through them. Their emailing system updates you by condensing relevant acting jobs saving you having to trawl through the website which is good.

I've been using Mandy for many years and as far as film/video jobs go i find it to be the best site. I have got jobs through them in the past. They have up to date job postings and make it easy to apply its a great place to even just see what's out there. They give good descriptions and always tell you the pay rate which is great for me. They have new listings everyday which makes it easy to be one of the 1st to apply. If you have experience and know what you want go to mandy. I only do film and video however they may have other jobs as well i'm not sure.

Better than star now, not as good as spotlight. Helpful for finding low pay work for experience and CV building. Watch out though, the vetting process isn't as strict as it should be and some pay rates are awful and some jobs are clearly trying to take advantage of young women. In short it's better than no work and if you're not getting stuff through Spotlight or you are without an agent.

It's got an easy to use interface and many many unpaid job opportunities in eastern Canada. They do offer free premium time for the upgrade, so you can try it out before you decide to pay for the full membership so thats a plus.
