The measurement tutorial photos were very helpful. (Thank you for those measuring guides.). I selected the option to have some confirm my measurements before actually making the jeans. Someone actually emailed me to confirm two of the measurements and after that my jeans were made and shipped to me! It didn't take long to receive my order. I plan to order another pair, same measurements.

I think you need to use a second time to get correct size. I ordered a 34 waste, but they were to small, probably fit a 30 inch waste. I fault the the quality they were very well made. Sizing can be problem

FIt was way off. Jeans seemed ok otherwise. Their "fit guarantee" is all over their website but actually only applies to a few of their products. They sent me 7 emails, either asking for more information or telling me that I was measuring incorrectly- i used their instructions.
Clearly they will never refund me. They offered to remake a pair at about 30% discount. So great, likely end up with 2 pairs of jeans i cant wear for over $120 out of pocket.
Some people have had good results, others seem to have shared my experience.

Extremely glad you're offering 7oz, 8oz, 10oz lightweight 100% cotton denim! Great jeans for a warm textured denim. I got the lightest offering, the 7oz. It's comfortable in cold weather, such as below 60F, or actually maybe below 55F, without any sun. And, with sun exposure while wearing, below 45F,… otherwise the fabric texture feels too warm. Below freezing temperature, it's good, it's adequate, it's comfortable.
I'd like for the denim fabrics to also be in smoother-cooler denim texture (a finer texture which is made by some clothiers) which feels cooler in temperature not so warming, - a matter of the fabric structure/texture.

Mobile website could use some upgrading, but everything was findable and convenient!
The jeans are a great weight and stretch, although the fit was not quite what I wanted. I chose the 'fit' option (hoping for lightly snug skinny/slim fit) and entered my measurements, but the jeans were constructed with 4-5cm of extra material so they fit like men's jeans. If I were to order again, I would shrink my measurements.

This was a simple process and it was great that you could design the jeans exactly like you wanted them and the exact measurements. The quality of the jeans and all the stitching was just excellent. Also the measurements were exactly as ordered. This is a very well made product, and this was so refreshing. This was the most I have ever spent on jeans, but it was well worth it to get exactly what you envisioned.

After waiting 4 weeks for my jeans to arrive I was disappointed when I tried them on and they were 2-3 inches too short! Also, the waist was larger than I wanted and the legs kept riding up when I walked. This baffled me since my husband took great care to get my measurements right. When I contacted the company to see about fixing them they told me that since I hadn't chose the option "fit guarantee" that I would have to pay for a fix, + shipping. I never noticed the fit guarantee on their site (and btw it only includes a handful of options). It should be built in for new customers or at least bold and clear when you order so that you feel secure that as a new customer if you don't get it right you can return w/out fees. The guy just wouldn't give in. He said I had to pay $45 on top of the $80 I had already spent. I finally just gave up. Do yourself a favor and go the old fashioned way - try them on at a store!

Great website, love the idea of having custom made jeans. Be wary of the colour, the photo on the website made the jeans look lighter. When my jeans came, they were mid-wash instead of light wash.

Mostly great experience, sometimes have to fight through site, but although little work, great results

Ordered a blazer style leather jacket oh probably beginning of March, it was only after reading some reviews that I got a huge dose of buyers remorse and realised I'd just blown about £120 on a supposedly custom item.
9.00 this morning UPS at the door wanting £19 plus change, missus said wtf is that, I'm like dunno, was my jacket.
Gobsmacked cos it fits perfectly. Someone obv got an accurate tape measure. Goes really well with black slim fit Armani Jean's, Rockport ankle boots and a hard rock t shirt. Look like a proper prog rock bloke lol
Dont know what happened with the bad experiences, someone along the line got them massively wrong. Hey, I got 1/2 a wardrobe of crazy errors, almost gave buying clothes online, but well done is all I can say.

I have yet to order any jeans from here, but have ordered multiple shorts. I'll start off by saying make sure you read the measurements instructions, people on here are giving bad reviews saying they input their normal size and can't fit into them. Well it clearly says on their website how to measure. For instance I'm usually a 35" waist but my measurements are 39.5". With that out of the way, the orders I've made have arrived exactly how I've ordered. And the quality is top notch. It's hard for me to wear any other shorts now. They have been shut down due to the global pandemic, which is a bummer, but also shows they care about their employees safety. But soon as they are up and running again, i will be purchasing a big order that I've been customizing. 5 stars all day for Make Your Own Jeans! For the price, with the great quality, and all the different options they have, you can't find a better value.

Appears to be a good quality, well made product with options to personalise for a unique look.

So far it's awesome, the pair I've already have was the first pair of pants that EVER FIT ME, that I've had in my 52 years of living. Wish I would have found you guys years ago.
