I paid for the trial and used it once and then never again as I didn't like it. I forgot to cancel as o just got busy. I was billed for 70 bucks and immediately with in mins contacted them asking for a refund. I was told they can not based on their policy. I then said I understand that but can we make an exception as you can see I have kit used the app or website in months since the initial day and they said there was nothing they can do. I can not afford to just lose 70 dollars and I have voiced that to them and they did not care. All they want is your money they don't care about the consumer. They can very easily make an exception just like any well run business does ie. Dept stores, Credit card companies, banks, most companies can and will make a one time exception but not them. Beware they will take your money and don't care about you! I am not the only one who this has happened to read the reviews! They do this a lot! Hope I can save others from the same pain in financial issues this is causing me.
I canceled my subscription with MadMuscles and got this---No additional charges will ever occur. This was BS. They charged me anyway and still trying to get my $41 money back.
I am questioning some of the characters in this business. If I get my refund I will update.

If there was an option for 0 stars, I would choose that instead. This company is a fraud. Realize that once they get your cc information you'll have to fight tooth and nail to cancel. If your intent is to pay for a service for a while, then cancel - do not bother. They do not want to let you go.
They do not tell you this is an automatic renewal.
And will not easily let you cancel. Forget about getting a refund for the bait and switch.
If you're looking for a service you can use for a time then, cancel when you're ready: do not waste your time.
They start deducting reoccurring $70 a month claiming it's in the fine print. Stay away, it's theft! I wrote support after canceling a subscription that I never subscribed to and they will not refund even knowing I'm not using their services.

On Monday 23/09/24 I signed up to mad muscle for a reduced price of £16/month.
They took £18.23. A few minutes later they took a further £23.99 without my consent.
When I queried this, they said it was for a premium membership (I didn't sign up for premium. Didn't even see a premium option)
I told him (Jason) that I no longer wanted the membership and a full refund should be made to my account as it was unlawfully taken. He then offered me 3 months free instead of giving me a refund.
(Why would I want to use this app after they stole from me)
Not yet have I received an explanation to why they won't give me back the money they stole from my account. Just pre written emails over and over again.

After completing the initial survey and moving to checkout I was over charged from the advertisement. They added fees to my subscription and refused to provide a refund after less than 24 hours after downloading the app. They will only consider a refund if you provide video footage of you using the app. And still they denied my request for a refund. You are better off watching YouTube videos and searching Google for a free meal plan. When I asked to speak directly (phone number) with a decision maker in the refund department my request was denied. Worst customer experience ever!
Horrible misleading company. Will charge for services even without an agreement. And trying to cancel is a mission in itself. Even after finally getting someone to actually reply to emails (you can't just cancel like they claim in their materials, you have to email) they will say it's been cancelled and offer extra months for free as an apology. But after the free months will then bill you again even if you never log back in or use their system. And then the process of trying to cancel and get a refund starts again.
I signed up for a free trial. A couple weeks into my program I torn the labrum in my hip. I had surgery and began to recover. Trying to cancel was confusing. With everything going on I forgot. A few months later go by and I get a bill. I kindly ask for my money to be refunded bc my current situation. They wrote some long kind response that said no. POS. Don't deal with this company. They make it hard to cancel subscription. They offer no understanding of people's lives. Zero compassion. I will never do business with again and definitely never recommend. There are many options out there today. Move on to a company that actually cares about you.

Signed up for three month basic plan payed fee then hit with a barrage of additional services I didn't want
But were increasingly tricky to opt out of on their website before proceeding.ended up getting three different PayPal charges immediately.when checking there terms of service there's a mountain of legal jargon designed to get out of any refunds.their customer support gave no response.
They lure you in with promises to buy a subscription for just 1 euro, but then they start deducting much larger amounts. Cancelling the plan in the app doesn't work, and other advertised features not functioning further prove that the app was designed to deceive and extort money fraudulently. Unfortunately, I didn't read reviews before entering my card details; many have been deceived, and I had to block my card. Support inquiries yielded no results, even though I have video evidence. Don't fall for it!
I purchased the Mad Muscles app with an expectation that it would give me a good customized workout and meal plans. What I got was a generic slow, paced easy workout with meal plans that included fish despite me specifically stating in the set up that I don't eat fish. No customer service number to call so my refund request was done through email.
Customer service emails were professional and prompt. However, they denied my refund stating internal policies did not allow it.
Mad Muscles charged my card on Google. I never accepted the fee. I have contacted them they will not refund my $56.00. No live people to help email only denied a refund. I don't even have the app downloaded.stay far away. Would give zero stars if I could.
I wanted to start an exercise routine. I proceeded thru the questionnaire and agreed to a one time charge. Not even 10 minutes later I was charged for not one but 4 charges. 2 immediately, and 2 for upcoming recurring. I had not ev÷n down loaded anything or the app. So no information was exchanged. They flat out refuse to give a refund. BEWARE OF THIS OVERSEAS, ( by the way the word thier correspondence).If I can save one person from being ripped off it will be nice.
The company is a scams! Website bates you in with manipulating questions that change screen to screen. Never asks you to verify purchasing. Once your payment method is in their system they charge you right away. Then When customer service is emailed and reached out to it took 6 weeks to hear back just for them to say there is no way we can refund your money back. What a joke of a company. They got me but it won't happen again.

Thought I was signing up for a different workout service (it has a very generic name, so I thought this was the company that owned it) but it was simply an AD that took up the entire screen. They refused to refund me, because their refund policy requires you to USE their product for 14 days, and requires "video proof"... Even though I had requested to cancel and refund only minutes after realizing my mistake. What an absolute scam.
Just took money without confirmation for the premium account. I cancelled immediately and requested a refund but they declined. Imagine this app boasts a money back guarantee and do not refund the basic amount even if you did not use their app even once.

I am extremely shocked by the lack of integrity of this app. If possible, I would give it zero stars. The people running it are nothing but thieves. They take your money without permission and refuse to refund you when asked, hiding behind obscure terms and conditions. Please be cautious before opting for the free trial, as you might end up losing a substantial amount that you'll never see again.
An absolute scam app. They lure you in with some offer and then get you in a maze where you cannot end your subscription without going through hell to find it, and even then, it is designed that you make mistakes. On top of that they took a big sum of money from my account for an app I don't even use and their support is not answering calls for refund or answering at all. I would not suggest this to anyone. Horrible experience.

Terrible! This company does not stand behind their products! The most restrictive "satisfaction guarantee" even when requesting a refund within minutes of viewing their "personalized" workout plan from their so called team of "experts". You answer their survey/interview questions and indicate physical medical limitations that do NOT allow you to perform certain exercises and the recommended those very movements at advanced levels. Joke!
When making the purchase, I was unexpectedly charged $100 instead of the advertised $25, with no prior notification. Nowhere was it disclosed that I would be charged four times more than the stated price.
Naturally, I sought a refund as per the refund policy, which clearly states my entitlement as an EU resident to request a refund within 14 days without providing a specific reason, with all payments being reimbursed.
To my surprise, I was informed that a refund would not be possible if the reason pertained to personal or financial issues.
Not only did the company fail to notify me of the substantial overcharge, but they also denied my right to a full refund as outlined in their policy. I strongly advise against using this deceptive app to others.
