Then they should say:
We reserve the right to stop the auction or choose the winner, it is not the highest bidder who wins Please remember that one, THE HIGHEST BIDDER DOES NOT ALWAYS WIN!

We reserve the right to charge you for each bid, to allow you to use our auto bid but we charge you for that too.

We have reserves on products in our auctions. We will not sell unless products reach a set price. In other words we want our profit.

The site is a GAMBLING SITE, there is absolutely no skill involved, you may as well try the lottery.

Crap site with no chance of finding a bargain, in fact the buy now prices are often outrageous.

As my bids ran out it showed on my scream collect £25 worth bids as i was collecting and uses them unknowingly to me they went complementary as I that this came out my account a total of £450 and I cldny get any help or proper explanation of why this wasn't made clear to me it appears as tho u getting free credits worth £25 and chums up wile u are bidding when u cldny possibly read how it works anyway (although this isn't explained anyways)when I reAlised that's wot they wer doing I was physically sick, apart from getting slapped about from my partner for losing all that money

This site is designed to take money, not sell products, the product is a side isuue. The key to their profit it the bidding process, what auction makes you pay to BID! They have tiny bids so their are hundreds, if not thousands per item. I bought £50 worth of credits and they were gone in lesss than an hour, money gone.
The site did not make it clear that this is what happens and they did not make it clear you were going on AUTO bid when you clicked on bid. IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM, there are no bargains

I joined madbid 3-4months back... i got to know about this website by my freind... so i thought to try once my luck but after joining i got to know its not about luck but purely patience that ll work here... after waitiing for a long time i won a sony playstaion... so i am very happy with madbid. It is a very good website... but we need to be extrmely patient and moreover we should bid wisely nd spend credits... nd products also very good brand new... but little drawback is there should be an option to spend free credits first and paid credits later bcoz free credits expire in 30 days and paid credits 180 days... if madbid look into it. It s most trusted auction site

After signing up, it was only necessary that I bought credits. I bought the lowest pack for £27 odd and received 200 and odd credits. On buying my credits, I was charged with a delivery charge of around £1.99. I then won another 200 credits, yet again I was charged with a delivery charge on £1.99. After this, I continued to bid, being clever I watched one thing at a time when bidding at the time, I was watching 1000 credits being auctioned. As I was watching this and clicking "bid", the screen would move about and I would find myself bidding for something else that wasn't relevant at all to me. Due to this, I used all of my credits up and had to buy more costing me around £35 and then my delivery charge which isn't necessary. I carried on bidding for these 1000 credits but then again found myself bidding for unnecessary auctions. After this, I found I had wasted around £70/£80 on absolute nothing and it was all because of the Madbid site. I understand it was my choice to buy the credits and I appreciate that fully, however, I am really annoyed at the site and its technological problems. Because of this I will never use the site again and would not advise anyone else to use it. Pure scam in my eyes.

Useless site! Everything looks too good to be true. It's almost exceptionally difficult to win a bid on this site. Even if you're going to win a bid, they will not allow it if they don't like the price of the bid. After the last second it would say checking becuase in reality it's waiting for another bid to overbid you. All kinds of dubious things were happening when I was bidding. I had selected the auto-bid option for only one bid. But after sometime when I returned there was a second auto-bid running. It was bidding for me on a product which I didn't even know was in the auction. End result: I lost about 500 credits for no reason. On top of that they don't even reply to your e-mails. The site is riddled with errors! Sometimes these errors can cause a lot of problems for you. Once you buy their credit points your money is trapped becuase you cannot get much from the discounts you earn, they don't have much variety in their stock so you have to select products you probably don't even need.

My suggestion is don't waste your money on this site. You only have a 20 percent chance of winning.Go to bid- ninja and see the figures. Even the top bidders on this site have a win percentage of 20percent. Plus the shipping cost and conversion to dollar increases the cost

I used madbid but did'nt win what I wanted. I earned credits to get a discount on Karcher K4 premium jet washer. I got this as a present for someones birthday, I gave it to them this weekend and when box was opened found damage and not all the equipment that should be there was there. The box had been opened and repacked which must have been don by an Apprentice as a monkey would have made a better job. This washer was not even for the UK market as it has a two pin EU plug on it. My honest opinion is that they sell secondhand goods at highly exagerated prices. I gave the site 1 star as you cannot give -10 stars. KEEP YOUR MONEY AS IT IS A CHEATING WEBSITE.

Just a quick update. Since placing this review I have heard from Madbid and they are going to replace the washer. I am pleased with this result but they could have replied to the customer supprt ticket I filled in on Saturday instead of after this review.

Madbid is the worst site i've ever used. What the site should be called is "moneygrabbers.com". They con people out of their hard earned cash.
It's disgusting how this site can get away with presenting themselves as a penny auction site when in fact it is a gambling site, it's beyond me. At least gambling sites state what they really are unlike these charlatans who pretent they are doing people a favor by deluding them in to thinking they u can win through auction top quality bargains for a small price when in fact u end up paying well over the odds, thats if u win anything atall after spending hundreds if not thousands of credits, but it's ok cos they give u earned money in exchange for used credits to spend in their madshop, again looks like ure getting discounted bargains but no ure not, copy the items into google search or ebay and amazon and u will soon see that u can get these items much cheaper with free delivery also which madbid do not supply. Also i've noticed on Madbid that the same bidding names pop up over and over again sometimes on 4 or 5 different items at a time. I would never suggest they are bots but they sure behave like them.
Take my advice and stay well clear of this site and sites like Madbid. Save ur hard earned money for the likes of ebay or amazon.
