“Slow Shipping but Nice Products”

Aisa T.
2/18/21

This isn't a COVID thing, Lush has always had issues shipping orders in a reasonable time-frame (customers pay for ground shipping too!) I made my last order 6 days ago, it hasn't even shipped yet... The products unique and smell nice, but nothing life changing. Some of my favorites that never disappoint are: Honey I washed the Kids soap, Son of Sultana Soap and Buddy body bar. I love that they're cruelty free and ethically sourced, but the shipping speed is slow since it's definitely not free. Plenty of other sites that offer hand made items that cost less and ship quickly (and for free) but I have been a loyal customer for over a decade so just don't order anything if you need it within a week.

“Don't Order Anything From Their E-Commerce Site”

Elisheba L.

Two orders that I placed online never arrived. One, placed in January somehow got damaged during the delivery process and was destroyed by UPS. The second placed three weeks ago is in transit limbo. I've reached out to Lush and Swiftpost, their carrier and have not received any reasonable explanation as to what's causing the delay and where my order is. I like their product and it's an indulgence I invest in as a part of my self care routine, but I am more than willing to scale back and not order anything from them going forward. Their customer service is subpar.

Cheapest quality out there. It's all branding. We ran lab tests on a bunch of difference products, all showing they were contaminated. That's why they give cold sores and rashes to people. I did this after using one myself. I received a terrible response from the staff, it was clear they get this a lot and don't give a $#*! after you've made the purchase. Beware!

Bought a gift to "propose" to my bridesmaid as I live in Australia and she lives in the USA. Ordered with a gift message and to not include the price. It arrived to her with no gift message and with the receipt! She had no idea who it was from and our special moment was ruined. Customer service was unable to help or offer any apologies as it was "how I ordered it" instead of apologising for a glitch in THEIR system. As a user of their products for over 10 years. Will never order from LUSH online again. Absolutely horrified.

Delivery takes about a week and a half but products are always strongly fragrance and unique. Integrity and continuity of products has remained the same for over 10 years.

I have used dry shampoo for years but have always found deficits with both aerosols and powder versions. My hair is undoubtedly healthier due to the use of dry shampoo and my color maintenance is minimal. I read reviews on the Lush No Drought and thought for the decent price I would try it. I havent wet washed my hair in 11 days (previously average wet-washes once per week), have used No Drought on day 4 & 11, and dont foresee any reason to wet -wash it in the immediate future. Meets all of my expectations: absorbs oil, hair appears clean, smells clean, remains easy to style, adds reasonable amount of volume. Hair does NOT feel like straw, get tangled or have static, or feel overly dry. I will continue using No Drought and hope I do not become disappointed over time; I am happy to have found No Drought and have no complaints about it so far!
And moreover your service is fantastic

I honestly thought, yeah all natural this that and the other, probably just a fad. But, then my boyfriend made me go into Lush because he loves their Karma soap. So, I tried a few things out. Dark Angels, the face scrub, has literally changed my life. I used to get blckheads and zits everyday. Now, my skin glows all of the time. I also bought the toothy tabs in Boom and Rump, the booty cream. I smoke cigs and drink a lot of tea and coffee, and my teeth haven't been this white from Boom since high school. It also tastes amazing. For ten bucks, they last quite a while, and its a nice treat. Also, the cellulite cream Rump... I gave it a shot because I wanted to feel sexy. I don't have much cellulite, as I'm young and a good weight, but THIS STUFF FIRMS. My butt looks so good inskirts again, and I never work out. It's great for upper arms, too. This store is not overrated. It's literally a godsend. It's expensive, but the stuff lasts quite a while.

Ordered the dirty styling cream as I have been for years. I received an incorrect product in the correct pot. I confirmed with customer service that the product did not look correct in consistency and color. I was reassured theyd check the batch before sending me a new one.

I received a pot from the EXACT SAME BATCH. It is still incorrect. When I called again, I was told that "actually, product control checked and its fine". Its not the right color or consistency nor is it the same scent. It has made my hair crusty and frizzy and greasy all at once. To reiterate, ive been using the exact product for years.

Their customer service is bunk. They told me they'd refund and i could reorder "in a few weeks" when there would potentially be a new batch. They did not acknowledge that the prior rep confirmed immediately by looking at photos that it was not the styling cream.

Lost a customer for sure.

If you wish to return a product online, you must include a letter stating why you did not want the product and pay to ship the product to a warehouse in Canada. This makes all returns difficult and expensive.

All i have to say is that lush is hands down my number 1 favorite site/store. They can take all my moneyzz. $#*! if there is ever an apocalypse you can catch me at lush taking all those fresh cosmetics, whewwww.If I would ever become an exotic dancer I would request to be paid in lush, that's how much I love it. I'll hold a sign that says "will work for lush". I'll probably make a shirt that says "lush whore & proud of it" hahaha I'd wear it everywhere. Lol well yeahh I just love lush so much. I used to love Lush and their products but for some reason they have changed the formulas for a lot of their products. No longer paying top dollar for top quality.

The shower gels are not as strongly scented and the texture slides off the skin instead of lathering. Overall I'm sad to see a company I used to love dissappoint their long time customers over and over again.

Tip for consumers:
Lush has great bath bombs and solid shampoos but they have clearly stopped putting top effort into shower jels so stick to the bath stuff and expect to pay an arm and a leg in shipping (understandable as soap is heavy) and you should be golden.

I'm in the UK and have always loved Lush, my sister live in America and is jealous of the pictures I've shared of the amazing bath bombs.

I thought I would be great to send her a gift set for Christmas through the American site.

I have been trying for 3 hours! On my phone and on my laptop. The site just doesn't work. It gives you the option to use a UK billing address and then tells you that your postcode (zip code) isn't recognised.

I have had to change the products I wanted to buy twice because they managed to sell out during the time it was taking to try and buy them.

I spoke to a woman on the online chat who told me to call their customer service, which seems absolutely pointless!

I'm meant to be spreading good will and cheer for the festive season, and all I've been left with is steam coming out of my ears! I need a bloody relaxing bath after this...

My friend ordered me a bath bomb in december as a christmas gift. When i checked to see if she could see where the package was she said it would be at my place in the next five days. So i waited... two weeks passed by and finally she called them. They said they had taken my name off so they had to resend it. Didn't make any sense to me since they had just told her they'd sent it off and it would be out for delivery in less than a week. To make a long story short, here it is may. Never received a bath bomb i had been waiting for (my first ever was super excited to try it). I will never be ordering from this website because not only did i never get my bath bomb, my friend never got her money back.

It's worth it and honestly when you go there you get your moneys worth. The thing is you could spend up to 200 on like maybe 10 things. Now that is way better than the body shop and it follows its moral code of cruelty free products and no mother company which contradicts that. Just make sure you save save save before you go and you get the self preserving products.

The Bath Bombs from Lush are the best on the market. They always smell delicious and its exciting when new ones come out. (The Christmas ranges are always great.)

Going in to the shop is really fun you pick up a woven picnic style basket and fill it with bath bombs.
You can also see what they look like in water with little trial slices and a bowl in the shop.
The whole brand and concept of Lush is brilliant, and so are the products.
Also the products are all "animal-cruelty free" as lush are against animal testing and they are handmade which is a bonus.

I ordered a big bulk of bath bombs online which I was worried about, they arrived quickly and packaged in a box with a sticker of a cartoon picture and name of the "chief" that made the bombs in the Lush Kitchens. It was full of little polystyrene shapes and the bombs were inside, all in perfect condition!
The box was labelled well to make sure it was kept the right way up and taken care of during deleivery.

Great site, very fast processing time. Package arrived very quickly. Was surprised to find a few extra goodies being a sample of one of their products and a newspaper. Wish the items I ordered came in a container I can put the bars in when I'm not using them but overall love everything. Will gladly come back!

LOVE this brand. I am completely loyal to their Big Sea Salt Shampoo- I have ordered it five or six times now. My orders always arrive within the time they tell me it will, and I am always happy with what I receive. I have emailed their customer service once with a question about the webpage- and it did take them a fairly decent amount of time to respond- which I was a bit surprised about- although, my question was not urgent by any means- so, it wasn't an issue or an annoyance. They put stickers on a lot of their packaged products with a little cartoon picture of who made that specific item for you, and has their name on it. It's a little small detail that I actually really think is great, and a wonderful way to build brand loyalty.

I'm especially a fan of the cinnamon -- used that for years. I also tried the conditioner bar and that was garbage, so it all depends ;) But the cinnamon I even gave as a gift to someone and I re-purchased it a few times. If you have fine hair or are having hormonal issues with hair growth, give it a shot.
