Booking was quick and easy. Responses time was quick.

My booking was from Edmonton to Algeria.
The representatives I spoke with are not professional. I felt like I was dealing with scammers. At the minute of booking, the first representative told me that the price has already changed and I have to pay 4700 instead of 4300 US dollars. So i told him if the price changes, i cancel the reservation, then he kept the same price. For family reasons, I should cancel the reservation. Cancellation is free (no charge) within 24 hours of booking. So I had to call to cancel. A representative explain me that it's complicated I'll call you in 15 minutes, 1 hour 30 minutes have passed and he did not call back I called again then I spoke with another representative, he gave me the manager to explain me, he asked me questions about the reason of cancellation, even if he is not permitted to ask me about my family reason, I explained him the details. He told me that I have to pay the taxes, he insisted that the taxes are difficult to refund because the government has already collected them. Hardly, I said yes, then he took $50 usd from my account. I read the terms of use, and I found that cancellation is free within 24 hours of booking. I called a representative again, he explained to me that they are cancellation fees. I started to get confused. I called again, this time it was a woman, she solved the problem for me, but unfortunately I was too frustrated. Regarding the voices of the representatives, it seems to me that they are all immigrants from India.
It's a very bad experience, Lookbyfare needs to do a training for it's representatives, and hire various and différents people. Not all from India!
And making rules clear helps your representatives to give the exact information.

After booking and making payment, I received a call about fare increase and had to pay a third more than what was advertised. I complained that this seemed like a bait and switch and I was not pleased at all. I complied as I needed to ensure my family was booked for flight. They however were quite responsive to my complaint and apologized. I was granted a refund of the additional charge along with a further discount. I appreciate that every effort was made to address the matter and ensure my experience with them was not a negative one in the end. Great customer service

All was fine until I was charged a $14.00 seat charge, tho the seat map showed the seats were FREE!?!? Needless to say, I felt totally ripped off!

Was good but the reason the check bag pound is too little.
