We got a contract through Loan Pal to get solar panel service a year later we still don't have the solar project completed and we have roof damage and they're not interested in doing anything about it their frauds just like the companys that they service these loans for
I had very little issues with Loanpal and they were quick to make dedicated time frames to finish quickly for me, including offering multiple ways to send/receive important documents. The only issue I had was when I asked about one little detail on the Loan, because it was a minor one, nobody ever answered me on iI.
I have a loan for a solar panel system. GoodLeap formerly Loanpal is the worst lender I have ever dealt with. They are not responsive to communication, the website has hardly any helpful functionality and limits the access to information regarding my loan and payments - currently not evening functioning to make payments for more than a week, and I cannot think of one single thing worthwhile about the company.
If you can avoid this company for lending do so at all cost. I would even recommend paying a higher interest rate to deal with a different company. I suspect the name change was due to the trashing the name of their prior company - though it seems that nothing has changed.
Loan Pal (now Good Leap apprently) are a pest. They call constantly, morning to night, weekdays and weekends and work hours alike.
They insist the manager can explain to you why you're a fool for not taking their "amazing" refi deal that really just takes away equity on your house and panels. Ask them to stop calling you and they apparently believe you don't know what you want and call anyway.
Hard pass, refi with an actual business and respects their clients' time.
Coming from working internally for LP and now GL this place is rotten to the core. The management has zero qualms about squeezing the employees as much as they squeeze customers with misleading sales tactics. Go do a quick search on tax percentages to ensure you pay a the maximum monthly amount. I'm saying this as they had us code this into the calculator. Go ahead, if you already have a loan with LP or the *new* shiney named company, have them explain to you about you paying the percentage up front which you will not get back at the EOY tax time. Steer clear of this company...
David Roose did an amazing job! I downloaded the app. This was extremely helpful. It was easy to see exactly what I needed to provide (which allowed the next step to progress). With the app and the assistance of David … the entire process was easy!
Kenny was awesome, patient, kind and understanding and very informed on his line of business. I had alot of questions and he answered them all, even on a weekend in text, and put my mind at ease. I do plan to use Good Leap in the future and would recommend them to everyone. This refinance helped me in so many ways.
If I had the option to leave ZERO STARS I WOULD! I did a loan with them for about $45,000.00 to have solar panels installed in my house. They were installed and never put to use. The contractors came and did everything they had to install and NEVER finished their job. I am still paying for Solar panels I have not been able to use and additionally paying FPL for service since this scamming place could not do their job properly! To put the cherry on top, they were bought out by another company so I keep getting a run around about the service requested. It is so ridiculous how much I have been trying to resolve this issue since I purchase my home. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. ONLY IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY TAKEN AND YOUR TIME WASTED
Loan Pal has been a disaster to work with. We have had a solar loan through them since 2019 and we have had the hardest time working with them. My husband and I finally decided to take our tax return and pay off our loan and almost a year later we are about to close on a new house and we just found out Loan Pal STILL has a lien on our house and now we might lose out on our new house because of them. WORST COMPANY EVER.
Formerly Known as loanpal, good leap has went downhill fast. They are currently performing some misleading and deceptive business practices in the form of mischaracterizing government grants and tax information. There are laws against this with the Federal Trade Commission the Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau I will be filing with these agencies. They get you a loan for a solar system and tell you that you're going to get a certain percentage back at tax time in the form of a government grant what they don't tell you is if you didn't pay that much in taxes you won't get that amount, but they're demanding you give them that percentage to keep your loan payment from being raised up. They told us that we were guaranteed to get that percentage from the government because of the grant program from getting a solar system installed and all we had to do was turn that grant money over to them at tax time. When we realized this was misleading our payment went from $180 to 240. And they continuously want to insist that I'm mistaken and the information that I am recalling was given to me by my salesman. I had called and spoke to loanpal Personnel multiple times concerning this issue once I found out about their misleading and deceptive sales pitch. Once I have this loan paid off I will never deal with this company again and I am warning you about this companies business practices.
The Goodleap representatives quickly and professionally secured my loan. All the reps. Were extremely accommodating, understanding and friendly. I highly recommend Goodleap.
Only thing I can say is a great company. You want things to get done right away Loan Pal is the one.
My loan was not a easy one to process. I don't think another loan company would have made it possible, because I had not gone through probate court after my wife's passing.
Sherrie Blackman and her team were awesome! Friendly, prompt and courteous! I felt like I'd known them all from the begging. It was so refreshing!
We got a lower interest rate and got our other loans consolidated in our refinance so now it is just one payment too.
We have lived out experience with LoanPal/GoodLeap! They have are knowledgeable, personable, and their app made it very simple to submit everything we needed. We closed in two weeks!
Everyone involved was SUPERB! I am so grateful for all the seamless coordination - from the first step to the last! Blessings to all. Thank you so much!
In summer months were paying the electric company $300.00 and the solar company a payment of $318.00. Where's the savings? Just a lot of double talk!
I am very appreciative for all the help and quick responses, make this mortgage an easy, fast process. Than you!
