I wouldn't say that this site is free from lemons but it is just as good as cars.com. Easier to narrow your search from the get-go, but it sometimes gives you more search results, usually from eBay. One thing that's kinda cool about them is they give out little warnings about some of the listings like "price may not be accurate", which is helpful.
These cars posted on this website are not affiliated with this website in any way. Lemonfree.com STOLE this information off of ebay. I know this because one of my cars on on here and I did NOT authorize the posting nor did the person that sold me the car. Beware this website is a SCAM

Not sure about their 'dealer complaint' statistics. One dealer, Legend Auto of Dallas, TX, has a BBB rating of D- and pretty much universally poor reviews by the preponderance of reviewers on almost any sites. Granted, they have hopped around from one forum to the next in terms of sales approach (first it was Ebay, then another website, now it is LemonFree and Autotrader)... eventually their ratings get the better of them and they are forced to another medium. Perhaps that just hasn't had time to develop at Lemonfree yet, so perhaps I am being unfair. It's just somewhat comical to see 0 complaints against a dealership that seems to be an industry leader in terms of complaints.
The website itself is good but the postings could be fraudulent. Be very careful with the transfer of money etc. I almost got ripped off by fraudulent seller. They send you fake google checkout confirmations or other methods of payment which are totally fake.

At first I was skeptical about the site, I've seen it in Google when I was looking for a 2008 Honda Civic, but never really went through the site. When I did, it seemed that I was getting results in the wrong area - so I decided to email them that the site was broken. Turns out, from what they told me anyways was, that there was a glitch when I was on the site - so in turn I did the search again and found about 15 different 2008 Civics that matched what I was looking for.
I contacted 3 sellers, only two replied, so I made an appointment with both and decided to buy one on the Saturday I went there!
Not only that, the following week I got a cupcake from LemonFree.com (it was delicious by the way) because I had pointed out a problem on their site - so they wanted to thank me!
Awesome.
