Lancaster Puppies

I bought a pup from Precious pups USA in Bedford Ohio. Upon receipt of my pup who had to be shipped to me, I took him to the vet where I found out he is very sick. He not only had bordetella, but also an ear infection and giardia. Considering he has never been around any other dogs or outside since I purchase him there is no way he could have gotten these after coming to me. Lancaster puppies was a recommended site but this breader is not. Contacted the breader who was uncompromising and did not take responsibility for selling me a sick pup. The vet records were also forged.

We had a great experience. The family we got our perfect, healthy 9 week old Collie/Poodle pup from were very nice and accommodating. We drove 6 hours from home, spent the night then picked him up the next morning in Shreve, OH. His momma was onsite and we got to meet her, she is a beautiful dog and was well cared for. We got his health records and set up his first well check with our vet when we got home. He had a very good check up. Dr. Said he is a healthy boy! He's very smart, we've had him almost 3 weeks now. He's already housebroken & has mastered several treat motivated tricks. We have absolutely no regrets and wouldn't hesitate to buy from this family again.

We recently purchased a "mini bernedoodle" from a breeder in lancaster, to our surprise the puppy (although is now a part of our family and we love him) is not even close to a bernedoodle, in fact to this day it is still a guessing game on what he is. The online profile stated that his parents were 15 and 18 pounds, but now our puppy at 5 months old is 30 pounds so that is clearly not the truth. In addition to this, when we took our puppy to the vet after purchase he had ear mites, multiple parasites, and scratches all over his ears. The individual we got this puppy from is named Jesse and he is from lancaster, PA. Moral of the story is, please do you research and do not get too excited to make a level headed decision. Luckily me and my family and the puppy are all healthy but this could have been a much more depressing story if there was an issue with the puppy that he could not recover from. Save yourself and the puppy from suffering and do your research.

We just adopted Chase from Jacob Byler in Belleville PA and are thrilled. The farm is in great condition and they clearly take great care of the puppies. We were given health records showing vaccinations and vet visit. Very nice family. Chase is adjusting well.

Soooo. My wife and I are breeders of top notch mini GoldenDoodles. We decided to give Lancaster puppies a try. After a month of advertising 0 calls and less then 40 views of our ad. We got thousands of views on puppy finder.com and multiple calls. Lancaster puppies makes you go through a ridiculous procedure including they call you and ask you questions. Then they charge you 20 bucks per ad per puppy so if you have a litter of ten puppies get ready to spend 200 bucks for no calls. We paid 6 bucks per month on puppy finder with unlimited photos and our ad refreshed every 5 days. Lancaster puppies doesn't refresh you ad so anyone that posts after you is ahead of you! Stay away from Lancaster puppies. Don't waste your time or money!

I wanted to buy Daisy, a yorkiepoo. Christ, from New York called me and said she is mine if I want her. I called her as soon as I saw she called and she didn't answer nor did I get an answering machine this time. I emailed her twice. She finally replied that she sold Daisy because she never heard from me. Does anyone know of other ways I could have contacted the Indian giver?

I've had a good success with Lancaster Puppies the last several years but I'm not convinced on the new website and method of keeping listings on the front page

We just got a terrific puppy from one of the breeders who advertise with Lancaster Puppies, the vet has checked her and pronounced her healthy, The thing to keep in mind about Lancaster puppies is that it is an advertising organization. They don't have any puppies. They advertise puppies for the breeders. As with any group, some breeders are reputable and some aren't. My advice is to personally go to the breeder and see the puppies and the situation before you buy. Don't make a deposit and if upon seeing the puppy, you aren't impressed just leave. I was searching for the dog and almost get scammed, asking me to pay thru giftcard by some web ad.
I was a bit hesitant to look again around google til I find lancasterpuppies, I contacted the breeder Rachel Yoder and she is good, my hesitations were minimized, I paid the deposit thru bank deposit and paid remaining balance in cash.
My pup came as he is on the pic and video she sent to me. The hand delivery was also good, was on time, keep me updated.
I highly recommend lancasterpuppies, know your breeder, talk to them.

We bought our puppy in January of 2019. The couple was so nice, their home was clean and nice. Our dog is amazing! Healthy, sweet and smart! So gratefull to have our Brady as part of our family. Our personal experience was great! I would recommend them to friends and am consideting buying another puppy from them.

This breeder is run by Daniel Gingerich. He was recently convicted of over 120 violations at his Iowa breeding location. He is banned for life from breeding in Iowa. Over 500 dogs were confiscated. Do not buy from this breeder. He abuses dogs and runs a puppy mill

This site in our experience works with sellers who are the middlemen for puppy mills.
We found a dog on this site and fell in love. We were connected to a seller only to learn they weren't the breeder. The breeder was an Amish farm. They couldn't provide a photo of the pups dad. They couldn't let us FaceTime or video chat the dog to make sure he was healthy and well cared for…or real. They requested payment in cash. These are all red flags for puppy mills. It broke my heart to walk away and tel the kids we weren't getting the dog after all. Lancaster allows these scammers to connect with well-meaning families and take their money. Beware.

My grandmother has been upset since they had to put their 14-year-old Shi-poo down. She almost got scammed before we found this site. I knew my cousin got a puppy here about a month ago. My daughter and I flew to Ohio to pick up Bella, she is perfect. They provided AKC registration papers, food, and a record of all her deworming and shots. I saw someone else mention the Yoders, we also got Bella from the Yoders. I reached out on Monday and picked her up Wednesday night. If you think it's a puppy mill, investigate, if you think it's a scam ask for multiple forms of proof. I know I talked to two real people on there and there were not a scam nor a puppy mill. I placed a deposit on a mini bernedoodle who was supposed to be transported to NJ tomorrow morning from Millersburg Ohio. I got a text from James the breeder an hour ago saying the puppy has lice and needs to be treated and will be delivered next week. Ive had dogs all my life and never knew lice were even a possibility. I am worried this is a sick dog and am not sure what to do. I read that lice can carry tapeworms. I have other dogs and do not want them to get sick.

Steer clear of a Dale Miller who is now $200 richer as he would not refund my deposit. Puppy was very cute as is photo but thankfully my son lives in the area and went to check it out. The dog wasn't his, says it's a friend. Didn't know the age, says it was a Morkie but not 100% sure. Had not been to a vet and had a sketchy guarantee that covered nothing basically and was void of dog hadn't been to a vet in 48 hrs of purchase. Both my son and his friend said it was too much of a risk. Ask for the deposit back and was refused! Tough lesson learned but clicked all the boxes of a puppy mill.

Thankfully, I did not buy a puppy through this website. But, I almost did. I spoke with three of their "reputable" breeders. All three people were nice people, and there dogs may be fine. But, they were not breeders. For each interview I asked, "Are you a breeder or did you just get lucky with a litter of puppies?" All three answered they just got lucky and were not actually in the breeding business. Three for three! Not sure how landcasterpuppy vetted them, but it obviously was not thorough.
