I made an appointment in Sept 2024 for bloodwork and pre-paid through Walkin labs. In Nov 2024 I received a bill from LabCorp for $224. I called Walkin labs who confirmed they paid for the bloodwork. I then called LabCorp and told them that I did not owe them anything because it had been paid. They promised to remove the charge. Then last week 8/22/25 I received the SAME BILL for $224 dated Sept 2024! I called and told them I did not owe them anything because I cleared it up LAST YEAR! They said a supervisor would call me back. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK! This is fraudulent billing!
The LabCorp at 4601 N. Congress Ave., in West Palm Beach, Florida has completely failed in customer service. I scheduled my blood test weeks before my doctor's appointment next week, just one floor above their facility. Despite being a long-time patient with Lab Corps, when I arrived for my 7:30 am appointment, they had not informed my doctor about missing paperwork and failed to notify me until I arrived. Their response was inadequate, insisting there was nothing they could do. The had my insurance information and my information. They could have charged me and refunded me after they cleared everything with my insurance, but the woman behind the desk refused. They could have charged mu insurance company after the doctor gave them clearance, and charged me if they couldn't get clearance. They refused to do anything and everything. Lab Corp didn't want to be bothered with serving me as a customer. This is unacceptable, especially in an era where AI and digital systems should streamline communication. I strongly advise against using this LabCorp location.
These fraudsters stole my money and ignored all messages. I switched to Joren Vale and he's been incredible. No fake promises, no excuses — just reliable service and timely delivery. I won't deal with anyone else now.
73 yr old Patient. I've had 3 refiles of this same and only bill in last 15 years of PSA tests. All PSA tests are covered by Medicare and Tricare once a year. Not his time. What a slap in the face to a 3-time Veteran. Sad part I contracted Cancer over 15 years ago. On top of that Medicare says quite clearly "PSA tests are covered once a year". Unfortunately, we are looking for a new testing Company to replace LabCorp and as a result also replacing Hague Medical Associates as LabCorp is their only testing Company.
The two women working at the Piscataway NJ location on 10/17/2024 at 10:15 AM need to be fired. They go between patients and do not wash their hands. When asked to wash hands between patients the first woman went to the bathroom and ran the water without actually washing her hands. When called out on it she refused to wash her hands at the sink that was directly in front of me. The other woman stepped in and tried to just run water over her hands instead of using soap. Again, I called her out and she half heartedly ran some soap over her fingertips. These 2 women do not care about the health and safety of their patients and are creating huge liabilities for their parent company. God forbid there is cross contamination from their lack of hygiene. Someone could face serious infection or other issues. If anything happens to me Labcorp is facing a major lawsuit.
I was billed $400 for a blood panel. I called the LabCorp OnDemand and was quoted $169.00 for the same exact test. So I called to talked to a supervisor. I kept getting transferred to dodge my call and briefly spoke to a supervisor before he transferred to me another department that doesn't handle billing at all. I have spoken to 5 representatives and most just hang up on me or transfer me to the operator after telling me they're escalating to a supervisor. I just want to pay my bill.
Billing has been a nightmare! Three calls to verify that they did get my payment after I kept getting collection notices! How it can take 5 weeks for the "your late" machine to be turned off is amazing, also, last call was 19.33 minutes waiting to talk to a person! It's a shame when we are herded into a company that has such a terrible customer service model...
Experience at lab was great. Billing... not so much. Insurance company would not cover Vit D test so I requested self pay price as LabCorp wanted me to pay over 3 times the price I would pay at Quest. They said bc they filed with insurance co and they didn't pay, I had to pay their crazy inflated price. They "discounted" it so I only had to pay 243% the price I would have paid at Quest! Not using Labcorp again.
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience I had at LabCorp. Here are the key issues I encountered:
ID Confusion: Despite presenting a state-issued ID with my legal address, LabCorp was somehow confused and now demands proof of an address that isn't mine before they will release my test results.
Blood Draw Incident: The technician who drew my blood pushed the needle through the vein into the muscle, causing an enormous and painful bruise that has lasted for two weeks. I regularly have blood drawn to monitor my chronic leukemia and have never experienced such painful bruising before.
Insurance and Access Issues: Due to my work changing insurance, I was forced to use LabCorp as it is the preferred provider. However, because I cannot provide proof of an address that I never signed up with or showed ID for, I am unable to access my results. Furthermore, my insurance will not cover the cost to have the tests redone elsewhere.
General Incompetence: Overall, the service was incompetent in every aspect. The only positive aspect was that my appointment time was honored, and I was taken ahead of walk-ins.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I intend to return to Quest Diagnostics, even if it means paying extra, as LabCorp has proven to be unreliable and unprofessional.
Sent $750 bill for 24 hour urine test, no sign of my insurance being billed. I call and requested them to use my insurance after sending a photo copy of my insurance in the mail and uploading my insurance online multiple times. After calling and directly asking for my insurance to be uploaded, they say "we'll get back to you in 30-45 days" and cannot even tell me a claim number.
Wantagh NY Center-Stay Away! Arrived before opening and was the first person there. Waited 30 minutes while they tried to figure out how to pen the computers. Then the supervisor yelled at me and other customers - no credit card = no blood draw. Which their corporate office said is NOT their policy. The supervisor was extremely nasty and unprofessional. How can you trust these employees?

Worst possible experience!
I made an appointment for 1:45 PM, arrived at 1:10 PM and checked into their electronic kiosk. I was offered a better appointment in just 2 minutes.
Forty minutes later the woman manning the front desk called my name and asked why I was there. She apparently did not check the appointment information.
I said that I have a standing order for a simple blood test every 4 weeks. She asked for the order from my doctor. I handed it to her and she said that it would be a few minutes. I told her that I needed the original back because it is a reoccurring order. She said that she would make a copy for me. I said that I needed the original back. She said that she would keep the original and give me a copy.
I again repeated that I needed the original. She said no. I said that I now wanted the original to take to a different lab because I did not want her to keep the original and that I no longer wanted the blood work performed there.
She gave it to me and as I turned to leave, she said "Have a nice day, honey". I turned back and she gave me a huge grin.
In her mind I'm sure that she thought she was important and in total control. Her "better than you" attitude cost LabCorp a customer.
I got the blood work done at a local hospital and they gave me back the original order. I asked if they needed the original and they told be "of course not".
LabCorp? NEVER AGAIN!
Walked in yesterday, Receptionist had a resting b____h face, no greeting, no personality, and definitely No people skills. Place was dark and dingy. Ask me to give them a credit card, I have insurance. Very unprofessional place. Never again! This was in Durango Colorado.
They are not open til 12:30 before lunch, I got there far before their 12:30 lunch hour and was turned away as they said too many people were before me.
Drove a half hour to location, were rude!
Don't go to the Waukesha WI location, service is horrible.
My name is Debra Canillo. Appointment time 9:00. I just had my blood drawn at Phillips Highway Labcorp. Marella is awesome and extremely efficient. Alvin Abos is her supervisor. Marella checked me in drew my blood, which I didn't understand because this cite usually has a front desk person. I think you should have a front desk all the time. The people drawing blood are responsible for a lot and you would not want them to make a mistake. I always use labcore because I love the people there. There's been a lot of changes in employees over the last year. You might want to look into. And get a front desk person please I don't want anyone to make a mistake that's drawing my blood. The place was pretty busy...
I think labcorps are the worst of all labs. I have use the one on Fremont, Alhambra and the one on Alessandro, Pasadena. They have a couple of workers only, they are not well organize y they do not care about patients. The wait time is more than two hours. When you ask them they only say "there is a lot of people". The company nows there is a lot of clients, they should be prepare and have more workers. They have three and they have to be at the front also
Had test results done January 29th through here and they was crazy numbers not anything like every before. Quest labs done yesterday and they was pretty much like always. Doctor wanted to put me on all kinds of medications due to the lack of doing testing properly. They are messing with people's life! On top of it all I had to pay these people for false results this is not fair! People please don't use labcorb your life could depend on this...
Their office in Fort Collins has a very small waiting area that some patient were outside. Only one person working there to check-in and draw blood. I was there before they opened in the morning and took about an hour to be done.
I was billed for services that I did not owe due to meeting deductible. I then received a letter stating that they didn't have an EOB for billing. I promptly called my insurance and sent them the EOB. My insurance told me they were billing with a code THAT WAS NOT proper, its called UPCODING "SCAM." I then received a COLLECTION NOTICE stating they would be turning my account over to collections is not paid. Steer Clear of this place, they are fraudulent. Who wants to join in a class action lawsuit?
Very Very disappointed that this is an actual business but seems to be the times we are living today. We show up for our scheduled appointment at the winter garden Florida Walgreens location 2-12-24 and find out that they have closed the location with out any notification to the patients ours was at 8 nda 8:15 am and find out that we need to go another 12 miles to another location and they would do the best to fit us in and the paper work needed to be located even though we had the doctors orders. If this is a business communication is the first thing that should be addressed, we did receive and email later in the morning stating our appointment had been canceled but that was way after our original time. You need to get it together Labcorp.
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
Answer: Its sent out, they are just a profesional AQUIRE BUSSINESS FOR ALL THAT THEY GIVE SERVICE FOR
