LabCorp Reviews Summary

LabCorp's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from poor service and billing issues. Many customers report frustrating experiences with long wait times, unprofessional staff behavior, and inadequate hygiene practices at various locations. Complaints about billing confusion and lack of responsiveness from customer service are prevalent, leading to feelings of neglect and frustration. Conversely, a few positive notes include timely appointment honoring and the convenience of on-site testing at doctors' offices. Overall, the feedback indicates a pressing need for improved customer service training and operational efficiency to enhance patient trust and satisfaction.

Employee Bonuses
March 7, 2018

If the just announced bonuses for employees are coming from the new corporate tax cuts why are the amounts based on length of service?

Wow I went to review Labcorp and my very bad experience, I see by all the other negative reviews deplorable customer is the norm for Labcorp. I had blood work done at the Pembroke Pines branch on 12/5/17, the good is my test was done in a timely manner (I did have a appointment) the bad, the staff was rude, cold, complaining loudly about there job and patients, never once was I greater or thanked for using LabCorp, the person who showed me to the room for my blood draw would not even speak to me, just point, sad excuse for health care professionals

I can't make an account on line because the questions they ask about my life (type of car, street I lived on, etc) I apparently didn't know the answers to. So they denied me an acct. I emailed to them at which time they emailed back telling me to fill out the attached form. I did. No response. I emailed again and they said we need a drivers license. I sent it. Again, no response. I emailed again. They said fill out this form. I said I already did. No response. I called. I needed test results. I've been getting them from corporate headquarters since I faxed a signed note. They wouldn't give them. I said I've been getting them this way for 2 weeks now. I asked for a supervisor. New woman got on the phone. I explained everything. She said you can't get them over the phone. I said yes I can. They are my results. She said let me give you to a supervisor. (I thought she was one). She came back on saying she's at lunch and will call me back. I said what time does she leave for the day? 5pm. It's almost 8 pm and guess who never called me back. Yep - meanwhile, I still have no acct! They have a bunch of morons working for them.

One person doing paperwork and drawing blood. I had to wait an hour even with an appointment. I believe my vein was broken deliberately by the tech even though she used a butterfly needle. I still have a bruise after almost 2 weeks. I probably shouldnt have told her I wouldnt be back.

I have made appointments and it did not matter they took people in order without appointments. Then when I finally did not make an appointment they took people with appointments first like they are suppose to do. One person doing front desk and blood is STUPID.

Rude people
September 8, 2017

Went to Lab Corp in NY-Woman at desk barely picked her head up to tell me to sign in-i signed in and being i was never there before I waited for her to acknowledge me which she didn't. I sat down-she called people ahead of me-fine -maybe they had an appointment. THEN they required a credit card to charge for any money not paid by my insurance. NO WAY was i authorizing an amount to be charged to my account when I didn't even know what it was yet. I walked out. Never heard of such a thing.

Overchargeing
August 29, 2017

This company over charges for what they do. When my insurance did not pay they reduced the bill by 35%. I found another lab that performs the same services for 10% of what Lab Corp charges. I know that is unbelievable but it is true.

Don't use Lab Corp
August 7, 2017

Had blood test 1/17/17. Have had to contact the Billing department 3 times to verify my insurance that will pay 100% of my $1,254.13 bill.
The second time I made a copy of my insurance card (both sides) & sent it to them.
It's now 8/7/17. I just got off the phone with billing department. Was told they had the wrong address for my insurance.
I will never have lab work done by Lab-Corp again. Save yourself worry, frustration & anger; don't allow yourself to get caught up with this disorganized & poorly run company.

I will never use this lab company again. They bill the patient for things the insurance company covers (Medicade) and then refuse to assist in the coding to fix the problem, lying by saying it is illegal to do so. My doctor's office has resubmitted the coding over 20 times without results. Now they put me in collections, messing with my credit. Better to be dead than use this shameless company.

A complete joke...
May 16, 2016

Unprofessional billing department. Was never sent a bill. They put me into LCA collections for a $7 charge I knew nothing about, until I was sent a warning letter. The services were performed in January, then wham! I am notified of being placed in collections. Really professional...

Will never return
April 16, 2016

In Doylestown, PA, maybe others are better, I don't know, but this one seemed completely without management, highly unprofessional, disorganized, and made me feel I was in Kmart for healthcare. People were pleasant, and the tech that drew blood seemed to know what she was doing. But, yelling across the room, conversations with others with a patient on the phone, gave me an incomplete and wrong kit for a home procedure. Will never return and pay out of pocket to go elsewhere.

RIP OFF
March 25, 2016

Labcorp patient support / Billing dept. *******167
They are bunch of ignorant.
They kept sending me a bill for $525.00 Even though I have Insurance that covers 100%. I called them more then 10 times in 4 months explaining to them that my insurance said they paid this bill. But those no brainers refused to call my insurance to clear this issue, they say we are a Call center we don't make out calls. At the end I put so called Labcorp patient support or better called LABCORP PATIENT HEADACHE in 3 ways call with my insurance, to learn that this bill was reduced to $63 and been paid by my insurance but those morons Labcorp patient headache are trying to rip me off for more money then what the insurance allowed, GO to HELL, you wasted more then 12 hours of my time for your stupidity and ignorance, SHAME ON YOU.
