I don't care if the service is good if I almost get sent to collections for a 3 dollar bill even when they have my card on file. There auto system gave me such the run around I was screaming by the end of it it took me 45 dam minutes to pay a literal 3 dollar bill. You guys are the reason our lives are so busy so full of nonsense you guys are a joke thanks for nothing!...
I think labcorps are the worst of all labs. I have use the one on Fremont, Alhambra and the one on Alessandro, Pasadena. They have a couple of workers only, they are not well organize y they do not care about patients. The wait time is more than two hours. When you ask them they only say "there is a lot of people". The company nows there is a lot of clients, they should be prepare and have more workers. They have three and they have to be at the front also
The tech were loud ignorant and talking about personal business at the front desk. Yelled from the back u can come on back. Discussed how that hate it when patients come in with a several blood test orders. Just so stereotypical of them. We go to do better ppl.
A very negative experience. Paper cups for urine sample instead of covered plastic jars. No cleansing wipes available. Had to have urine test redone with different--and normal results. Inexperienced blood draw tech. Needed help.
Loose hair--not a good feeling UGH!
Two stars for the 5-star nurses! Thank you for being so kind and wonderful. Front-desk, like most of Vegas, unfriendly.
Billing dept 0-stars. After an accidental double pay in November 2020, I finally got my refund on 4/1/2021. If only I could charge you interest.
I haven't even gone to this lab yet because it is impossible to reach a live human. I am all game to schedule appointments online or phone. I actually prefer it. But in some cases a person has a specific question that isn't addressed anywhere on the website. This is one of those cases. I have never had these kinds of issues with Quest. What a disappointment right out of the gate! I'll be discussing this with my insurance company. I would avoid this company if you possibly can. (I guess unless you know you will never need to have any customer service as there is none with LabCorp. Hope this helps and take care.
At my most recent visit (Labcorp at Walgreens in Mt. Laurel, NJ), everyone who checked in showed up in the system as a Walk In, even though some of us had reservations. As a result some actual walk-ins were taken before those with scheduled appointments. In addition, the technician kept talking about religion and Jesus. This is not appropriate.
They cut costs by having as much as possible computerized, but the computer interface is not human-friendly. They have more than once failed to provide the tests which the doctor ordered on the script. It took 3 tries to download the test results, and when I attempted to print them out, the print was so tiny and the format so in-human that i gave up and did a "print screen" and used 3 times the amount of paper and ink it should have required just because they are looking to cut costs so insurance companies (Humana in my case) will use them rather than to serve people. And if you want to communicate a question or concern, you have to spend 10 minutes filling out a form to email to them. And you can imagine the sort of response you get. They really, really stink as a corporation.
Online instruction stated they will text. One hour passed so I went inside. She stated she called my name out instead- I was parked right across their door. She most likely called out "inside" of their waiting area. Finally she comes to me, w a butterfly. Ok that's fine. But yet, she failed x2 (which is the limit). She went so superficially and so I instructed her to go on a lil higher angle as the vein can be deep. She didn't listen. I said she can still get it- pull a lil, go a higher angle, and go forward. She didn't want to and insisted she's already in the vein- clearly she's not cuz she's not getting any blood, Jesus Christ! This lady will never learn as she's being stubborn. That vein is super plump that students always get it the first try. Been an RN 28 years, nursing professor of 14 years including teaching IV & Blood Withdrawal classes. Good luck w the elderlies after me- their veins are way much harder.
I was full of anxiety as I had conflicting information on when my covid PCR results would be ready. Add to that when I set up the online patient portal no one could confirm me in the system. I was successful in registering independently a patient account and emailing my provincial drivers license separately but no one could find me in their system when I called to check on my results status. Walgreens sent my specimen but labcorp could not confirm. I'm panicking until 10 am on the day of my return flight home on Sunday (when no one could be reached from labcorp as they're closed) before my results arrived in my INBOX. What a relief. Printed results were perfect for boarding from Logan to return to Canada. Wish the people I spoke to at labcorp knew the reason why I wasn't in the system was because no results were available, not that they hadn't received my test. Grateful for their prompt results. (48 hrs) thank you.
What should have taken two visits took four due to bad procedure with urine sample. Had to go through long waits just to return collected samples
Experience at lab was great. Billing... not so much. Insurance company would not cover Vit D test so I requested self pay price as LabCorp wanted me to pay over 3 times the price I would pay at Quest. They said bc they filed with insurance co and they didn't pay, I had to pay their crazy inflated price. They "discounted" it so I only had to pay 243% the price I would have paid at Quest! Not using Labcorp again.
My name is Debra Canillo. Appointment time 9:00. I just had my blood drawn at Phillips Highway Labcorp. Marella is awesome and extremely efficient. Alvin Abos is her supervisor. Marella checked me in drew my blood, which I didn't understand because this cite usually has a front desk person. I think you should have a front desk all the time. The people drawing blood are responsible for a lot and you would not want them to make a mistake. I always use labcore because I love the people there. There's been a lot of changes in employees over the last year. You might want to look into. And get a front desk person please I don't want anyone to make a mistake that's drawing my blood. The place was pretty busy...
The doctors office sent samples without my consent. I was told at Midwest Women's Clinic my visit would be covered by Medicare
6 months later here comes LabCorp billing me for services at $312! I've talked with them on 2 calls. They were rude and belligerent. I've asked Midwest Women's Clinic for help and they blame Labcorp. I really think they see Medicare, bill, take the money and don't care about their patients. Medicare paid out to both.
Ask where your samples are going, make sure it's coded correctly and then check again.
No one else will watch out for you!
Did not process my labs which caused a 4 week delay. Despite it being their fault, they refused to refund money spent on in-home collection. I was told "there is no way that is going to happen" when I asked to be compensated for their screw up resulting in delayed results and the inconvenience of a second blood draw.
I consistently experienced issues with LabCorp at several locations:
1. Unsanitary: the technician used same gloves unswerving phones, opening front doors, managing supplies and trying to take my blood
2. Scheduling is very difficult, you have to search each location
3. Cannot reach a human by phone
4. Often, wait was long in spite of the fact I made a reservation
5. Billing/payment is a nightmare as they do not have account numbers, only invoice numbers.
Wish there was a rating below 1
My doctor's office has called them at least five (5) times asking about my results and never once returned the call. After three weeks, this has become despicable. I would not recommend LabCorp to anyone.
A new computerized SELF service - even for elder seniors. Repetitive info gathering.
Interview with staff member with the desk top in front of his/her face forcing patient to address the computer or squirm around to either side.
Miserable lab tech.
LabCorp is full of $#*!. Over working their employees, especially the black people. This company is very racist. They hire white supervisors who are lazy and incompetent. PTO time has been stolen from most employees. Supervisor. Labs results are
Terrible job hitting vein. Destroyed it and have a bruise the size of two golf balls wide. They had a bunch of people waiting and you could tell they were just rushing. My appointment was 45 mins late. Their should be some ramifications for this treatment.
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
Answer: Its sent out, they are just a profesional AQUIRE BUSSINESS FOR ALL THAT THEY GIVE SERVICE FOR
