They censored the word "arse" while I was commenting on a story about censorship. Well done Mormon publishing. Defend neo-nazis with every drop of ink and censor my gay arse.

Every time I've tried to comment anything regarding the safety of our community and what "types" of people are ruining it, the comments were rejected or deleted. Some of my comments could potentially be useful to locals and neighbors who need to be aware of who is coming into our neighborhoods. I tried to comment about my local crime as well as refugees overflowing Murray and Millcreek when we have a housing crisis and anything even remotely close or sounding like a concerned citizen is deleted. Unless you mention how a story touched your heart or how you'll pray for someone, forget being able to post an opinion. KSL lives in some kind of a fairytale meanwhile our crime ratings are at an F- with our jail so crowded that most sexual offenders are let out in a few days to repeat and abuse the system. Start caring about real local problems and concerns and stop silencing Utahns!

Our AG is doing the right thing. Thank goodness we have him in Utah to defend us against "RINOs". The issue is our constitution be upheld. Our country is at stake because opinions of left wing reactionists like Doug Wright deviate away from reality. Our country is not governed by opinion it is governed by law.

KSL is the flagship television property of Bonneville International, the for-profit broadcasting arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). They're quite popular with residence of Utah and their Classifieds are a nice place to list items to sell for free. However, their articles tend to be very bias and/or poorly structured.

Their comment moderators are extreme LDS and they are very strict and bias about what they allow in the comments section. It has become so bad now that it feels like they want to oppress anything that is not Pro-LDS and/or Pro-Conservative.

Their credibility as a non-bias news organization is questionable at best.

So it seems that KSL.com in Salt Lake City, Utah a Mormon owned news and social media outlet is officially Totally Liberal based! Today posting that 57% of polled Utahans don't want to see trump serve a second term, but if that were to happen a Liberal Democrat would become President in 2020, something that the majority of Utahans would be against! There are Liberal hard leaning articles posted and someone wants to post a comment thats against the opinion of the articles they wont even allow it unless the comment is totally in their favor! Time to drop KSL!

My comments are clean and respectful but because KSL is an extreme left leaning rag they censor any comment not extreme left with their agenda. KSL = FAKE NEWS PROPAGANDA! I am moving all of my advertising to other sites this month. RIP ksl.

KSL has had a long history of censorship. Such as when they were a CBS affiliate years ago, they censored a show called picket fences because there was an episode that was critical of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As an NBC affiliate, they have also openly censored shows that they feel doesn't conform to their moral standards such as Saturday Night Live which they feel was too risque but changed their mind shortly after. Eventually they could again decide Saturday Night Life is too risque and stop airing it. I wish that I can have another NBC affiliate instead of KSL as I don't like the possibility that a show I enjoy will no longer be aired by KSL.
Their spirit of censorship lives on in their comment boards. Their moderators will actively censor offending viewpoints and once you are censored one time, they will probably censor every other comment you try to post on KSL. How can you trust a news organization when they actively censor comments and TV shows that don't fit their agenda? How do we know they are accurately reporting both sides of the story and giving both sides an ample chance to report their side of the story? How do we know KSL hasn't decided to censor certain sides when reporting news? I don't trust KSL as a source for news and as mentioned, wish I could choose another NBC station as my local NBC affiliate.

KSL is owned by the Mormon church, the editors and moderators are all members of the church, they are the predominant news organization in the whole of Utah, southern Idaho, western Wyoming and eastern Nevada. They control the news around here, they control the narrative and drive peoples thoughts a certain way, that is which ever way the powers of the mormon cult want them to project. The comment board moderators are of the same ilk and will allow horrible talk all day long against those the mormons see as others, but if someone talks out about the church they will hide the comment, if someone writes a well articulated factual response to an article or comment it will be deleted if it doesn't follow the KSL community standards which are applied at random, and only to those who speak out in a way that KSL doesn't support. They are snarky in that posting on their site is a privilege and they treat commenters like garbage if they turn against the cult. Case in point I have 1 main account and 5 shadow accounts, they rotate through which one is being automatically banned from posting comments weekly. One of my accounts has not had a comment published in 3 years because the account is considered derisive for posting pro LGBTQA comments.

I've watched KSL for years. I've had respect for them until recently. It seems they only allow people to post comments that THEY want everyone to see and delete others they don't like. I've tried to post a bunch but they keep getting deleted. I've NEVER used profanity or attacked someone. The last time i tried to post i read and re-read over my post before i sumbited it to make sure there wasn't anything even hinting of being rude, profane or abusive in anyway and they still deleted it... I LOST A LOT OF RESPECT FOR THEM! They should be better than this!

I respected KSL since they were the only news organization in Utah that doesn't use autoplaying videos or endless scrollbars. Now that KSL has been doing autoplaying videos more often, I no longer wish to visit their site. They are just as bad as the garbage KUTV and Fox13 sites. In addition, they have started censoring all my comments and I've even had 5 of my comments reported as abuse. I assume KSL doesn't follow up on claims a comment is abusive as none of my comments are abusive and all of them followed KSL terms of use. Despite this, only 25 of the last 65 comments have been approved by KsL moderators. Meanwhile several comments that are overly political and abusive to opposing views are openly accepted by KSL. In addition, KSL has had a habit of censoring TV shows they feel don't meet their community standards. I asked to unsubscribe to all their newslists since I'm getting multiple emails per day and cannot even participate in comments. Hopefully they respect my wishes to no longer receive any emails from them. If I cannot participate in their comments and they are going to add autoplaying videos to their site, I find the newsletters worthless.

KSL is a news website that is liberally biased, while not overtly appearing so, which makes it dangerous in that people might actually believe in some of the opinions they are peddling.

Having used the website over the period of a few years, I have noticed some things about it:

1.) They never link stories from a conservative news outlet. They will link to AP, and CNN. You will NEVER see them link an article from foxnews for example.

2.) They jump on any anti-gun story that is making the news, and will place it prominently on the front page, top banner.

3.) Reader comments on news stories, that in any way slander, or cite facts that are not favorable to the Democratic party and the left at large, usually will not be approved by KSL moderators. You have to engage in carefully crafted wordsmithing to get pass their selective approvals.

In summary, KSL is not an unbiased, and objective news source. They are biased to the left, and the stories they run, where they run those stories, and the commentary they allow, all skew hard to the left.

I purchased online advertising and radio ads on a regular basis, I was a LONG time customer of KSL, I was giving away free CD's in the free section of the KSL classifieds no strings attached and got a lifetime block within about 13 hrs, I did get 1 (one) total email saying don't give away free CD's, 2 days after I was blocked, I tried hard to work things out cordially through email with no luck, no fraud, theft or victims.

After years KSL pleads with me again to do more online advertising and agreed to unblock me and I did an online campaign, once the online Campaign was over I got reblocked

All that I can do is shack my head at the level of STUPIDITY, KSL contacted me today with a SALE in a big rush to fill 26 open spots on their radio advertising, and I have 0 sympathy or concern that they aren't reaching their quotas, they have a lifetime block from me as well and my advertising dollars go elsewhere.

I personally wish I could have a different NBC affiliate knowing someday one of my favorite TV shows on NBC could be censored by KSL. The tradition of censorship continues with their comment board. You could post a comment that violates no KSL terms of service rules and it will be rejected. Interestingly, you may see similar comments to yours that did get published so you know your comment wasn't in violation of KSL's terms of service since these other comments were allowed. Sometimes they seem to reject every comment you submit even if they violate no rules and aren't considered offensive to any groups. With KSL's active censorship, how can I trust them to accurately report the news? How do I know they have censored opposing viewpoints and interviews for their news stories? I don't understand how they can be trusted with reporting the news with their bias against opposing viewpoints and even actively censoring opposing viewpoints.

Please accept this email as my formal complaint of Garna Mejia reporting on the above captioned rallies. I was there, stood by the KSL crew and walked with them; Garna acts like a spoiled / bias / racist / liberal hate monger! She lied thru her teeth about a scuffle between the two groups. You can even her it on her video that the crew would argue with the comment - she exaggerated to the point of lying. How can a legitimate news agency like KSL employ an instigating reporter in such volatile time in America? Everyone was so well behaved, the Back the Blue attendees and their speakers were from very diverse back grounds Black peoples, Pacific Islanders, Latino and Whites. SLC should be proud of what the Back the Blue is standing for. But, not Garna Mejia and her liberal narrative. It is so obvious she is a huge Black Lives Matter radical supporter. My Pledge: No one will ever say anything good about KSL News's Garna Mejia in my presence without me telling the story about what happened this weekend and how she lied.
