Beware of these guys! I took a credit card from them. Kotak league platinum card. I was offered a credit limit of 34k at first. I was using the card and was paying the amount back at the right time. Suddenly, they capped my limit to 19k, which shocked me. Without any prior intimation to their customer they are doing this, and with immediate effect has made them charge me Rs 500 since my balance went negative. If they had intimated about the change in my credit limit, I would have maintained that amount in my card. Instead, they want to penalize me by capping down my credit limit to go negative. This is really unfair and a cheap practice done by Kotak Mahindra Credit Card.

My opinion regarding this is,

I wouldn't suggest this bank's card.

If you opt for this card, don't spend near to the credit limit or have money that is sufficient in it.

My final point is, I felt frustrated in choosing this card now, and I will close my account after this bitter experience I felt.

I would hate to share below -1 rating to worst hoax pathetic kotak mahindra bank.

Due to health issue I was not able to pay due emi from 3months, collection and recovery agent call me and make me harassed and suggest to me and my husband to begging on road for pay emi dues. Also, saying to my husband that if you are not able to pay amount then ask your wife to do physical after getting money from that business pay your emi's. This is the way kotak bank give training to speak with consumer. And pass out DRA EXAM. They have right to speak anything with women.

They threatened me that if you did not remove the review we will serve legal notice to you because you are pointing out to our reputation.

If you guys have little courtesy so you have to take every concern solemnly.
I took a loan personal loan for education purpose and I lost my job at that time in this period I am facing so many consequences. They hired fool in customer support along with idiots seniors.
My worst decision ever I took loan in my bad time they all are hoax. I have all the recordings and screenshots agents messaged me on my personal number and share threatened message to me. Also, when I escalated the matter one of their superior said leave that thing tell me your concern and make payment.
They lien my saving account and put huge other overdue and many more charges. No proper guidance at all.
After providing a loan they make me feel like slave and I cannot say what word i write here they make me that much feel hell.
I am not using word request here because of all misleading it is very short story they make me manipulate and giving mental abuse.

REMOVE UNNECESSARY CHARGES ON LOAN ACCOUNT. SPLNXXX9552

Till now I received such unprofessional misbehaving calls from kotak mahindra bank recovery agents after paying the emi with charges.
I wrote so many mails and raise grievances also but nobody call me yet.
If anyone reading my review please do not open bank account in kotak mahindra bank and never ever do mistake to take loan from this worst and terrible bank. Best option is Save your money in your piggy bank.

Kotak Mahindra Bank has fraud business services in all sectors. Debit Cards and Debit Cards. They charge more money than actually they deserve. I have been paying lot more than what I took from them. I feel it is better to take money from individual brokers than Kotak Mahindra Bank. Their fraud business should be closed immediately to save poor people from being robbed by this fraud bank.
