Everything was good at first until I encountered temporary financial hardship. I had reached out to the customer service team multiple times and have not been satisfied at all. At first, I thought my payment date had been updated via the self service bot, thankfully I double checked and a representative told me it had not been (so the first red flag is the bot doesn't work, which I told them they needed to update because that's misinformation being provided) and then proceeded to tell me I couldn't because of the payment due date. After making the first payment, I reached out ahead of time AGAIN to have my payment date updated, if not skipped due to financial hardship. I have reached out to the customer service team MULTIPLE times and asked to speak with a higher up because of misinformation and lack of communication, in which nobody ever got back with me and I even had to go as far as contacting my dealership to speak with a higher up. After explaining the entire situation, it was the same thing, even though they were FULLY aware I had been reaching out multiple times and the lack of communication to get to me in a timely manner was a fault on their part, not mine. They lack accountability and authenticity, all they care about is money. If you finance your car I would not recommend financing with this company.
Absolutely worthless costumer Service is absolutely worthless was lead on for 3 months about a refund check and then finally all of the sudden someone wants to tell me that I'm not going to be able to receive it after request and request and even talking to a supervisor he told me he would ensure that I got both checks as soon as as possible f*kc these worthless people no one is capable of doing their job there it's no wonder y'all have such low ratings never again will I touch anything Kia made. Worst experience with a company. Terrible rates. Terrible customer service. Liars. No one here knows how to do their job
After owing and paying for 2 Kia's they have lose me as a customer forever. Customer service is rude and unprofessional. A dealership bought out my Kia and paid it off. Title in hand and Kia still charged me another monthly payment and is refusing to give my money back. No one can tell me why they stole my money or how to get it back. Opened a dispute with my bank and put a stop payment on them ever being able to access my money again.
Disgusting to be treated like this and that there isn't one person working at Kia Finance that is nice or helpful.

What I would love to do is put on my Facebook page that Kia cares about their customers~~I have a 2014 Kia Rio that I love, I have less than $ 600.00 that i owe on my car. I was denied for unemployment in the state of Ohio because i do not make enough money ~~that makes NO sense to me. Basically if you make more money you get more money. I am 60 years old & i bartend 4 days a week so i guess they don't count that i make tips which i claim every year. So i think i am wasting my time by writing this but i also think 'why not try'. You see all these other companies doing great things to help their customers~~Although i have not seen anything about Kia i'm sure you doing some good in the world. Right? Thank you~Teresa
Can not stand making my payment with KIA they only have an option on line for checking which takes them forever to take out! I love Capital One cause I was able to make my payment with my bank card which was much easier which only cost me $3.95 to make by card. KIA tries to charge $7.95 give me a Damn break! Get with the times people!
Kia Finance is truly the most spiteful disgusting greedy un professional company that I've ever dealt with. I love Kia cars. But Kia finance and the people who make the cars and their customer service again disgusting. Currently I only own one car and they're still charging me for two cars my old and new cars. It makes no sense I still have my title from my old car and they're still billing me for a 2016 car I no longer own. I know you're reading this and going what I've never heard of such a thing. I've been trying to change my payment date for a year and through calling several times a month and re-entering my payment info on the website it still says my payment is late resulting in destroying my credit. I've been offered absolutely no help in fixing the problem either and they never respond to emails.
I've been with Kia since 2013. When I brought back my last lease for my current lease at Lakewood, NJ Kia they submitted the papper work over a month late so they marked me as late. I've called to get it resolved and they refuse to help me. They lost a good customer of 9 years. I guess they don't care. I always pay my payment any where from 2 to 4 weeks early and have returned the cars under milage by a year and in showcase condition. Good bye Kia. I will tell everyone I know not to purchase from you.
All Kia cares about is the MONEY! They put me through HELL when I tried to change my payment due date, after being a customer since 2016. I'm almost done with this loan and I'll NEVER do business with Kia again. Do better!
Because I wanted to pay off my Kia with a credit card, they transferred me to Western Union and they hung up on me. Long wait times to reach both companies. Kia doesn't make a way for someone to pay with a debit or credit card on their website or over the phone! TERRIBLE COMPANY! I will never use them again!
I made an early payment for my car payment for the month of January (Jan 12th) and was good til the next payment in February. Later on in the same month of January, right before the payment was actually due (Jan 24TH) I had a transaction thru Kia finance and they took a payment that I didn't authorize. So that's a double car payment for January! I don't have auto payments set up. I called and they said I made the payment over the phone which is a lie because I never call them for a payment. I just pay it online. The payment was a few more dollars off then what the normal payments are. I called and they said they will send a refund thru mail which Is crazy because y'all took my $#*! out so put it back the same way! They said my refund will be mailed 6-10 business days. Time passed and I called them again wondering where my money is. They said they will send it again. I'm fed up with them.
I really rate them as a Zero, they will not give you any information or listen to what your question is. Really bad customer service. The are rude and they can not explain why the are asking for an additional $434.00 dollars. They just want me to pay it, my lease has been satisfied for 4months. Very poor communication skills.
Dealing with their customer service and collections department has been a nightmare. They paid the property tax to the wrong state (we had moved). It was hell trying to get them to request a refund which they never did. I had to go directly to the county and get it sent out. Now they are saying they never received it but I have the canceled check from the county. You can only fax it and they always say they haven't received the information. I don't even know what else to do. At this point I'm in tears (this has been going on for months). I clearly don't owe the $450 but the collections department keeps harassing me every few days. I guess I should report them to the Better Business bureau. I will never drive a KIA again.

The dealership harasses and bullies and the finance department doesn't care about it. They convince themselves that its not their fault because the dealership is it's own entity. If I had a third party working for me and representing me the way that they do, I would fire everyone. This was simply unacceptable.
2 weeks after financing our kia soul, kia finance has no record of the purchase. Are you kidding me? And the customer service says wait 2 more weeks. Absolutely incompetent.
I wish I didn't even have to give them one star. The dealership in OM Maryland is run by complete morons who have no clue what they are doing. My husband and I bought 2 cars from them. When they paid off the balances of our previous cars they shorted the finance groups which negatively impacted my credit. I spent weeks as a go between these guys. Then MONTHS later they are calling me asking me how to get the title from the previous finance loan holder. I was astonished. Well, even though we have worked with them for over 5 years, they refused to help us when my husband got laid off. We didn't ask for anything free. Just to give us some time to get the money. But in less than a month the late fee was over 50.00 and the asshats on the phone were not very personable to say the least. This is my first time ever writing a review, but I had to. RUN FAR AWAY. Do not do business with this company

I traded in my lease and purchased a new car. 2 weeks after purchasing my new car a car payment for my OLD car came out. They (kmf) said my account would stay open for 30-90 days. WHAT! I don't have this vehicle and yes my refund will take this long as well. The guy was laughing at me while I was getting upset on the phone. He also would not give me a higher up supervisor's name or number. STAY LOCAL.
Since 2020 (I assume since Covid?) the website takes anywhere from 10 minutes to upwards of two hours to load if it even loads at all.
I make payments, get the email for payment authorization success and then I find out it doesn't go through, NOT by them but I have to research it myself each time. I call and they say I didn't have funds in my account for the payment per my bank. My bank denies this and I pay when I get paid so KNOW there's funds in the account.
Kia frequently locks me out of my account and it's such a hassle to get a payment to them. It's like they want me to call and pay an extra $10 for convenience fees to pay on the phone(when?, during my working hours because they aren't open for people during normal non working hours? Please tell me HOW that's CoNveNieNT)
They have on multiple occasions lost my current bank information and used my old bank info that I haven't had for 3+years. Which has lead to missed payments because they've tried to take it out of the wrong account.
They never send me letters for anything, updates, confirmations, problems etc.
Kia tried to repo my car TWICE. Today is the 2nd time and I know I'll have to pay another $2000 to get my car back.
I absolutely hate Kia and their services and will never buy a Kia as long as I live. It seems like they are just money/power hungry and don't make it easy for their customers AT ALL.
