I have been using kijij for more than 5 years. This is my review - THEY ARE GOING TO DIE SOON. Look for alternatives.

Such a waste (PS: I might have spent close to $2000 bucks in 5 years, it was good initially)

Kijiji is now tracking both buyer and seller and it should be obvious their changes were not about safety or security but control. They started years ago with masking, then withholding other sellers ads, then blocking numbers, then forcing selling accounts and now even buying accounts. Each time they waited about one year to not totally turn everyone away and make the next negative change. Today kijiji is the disgrace of the internet, as soon you hit the page there is third party tracking all over and the choices to buy are no longer there, since they don't attract anyone but low class business or service spammers. The worst of it is the CUSTOMER suffered drastically, I am now seeing 10 year old junk at 2x the price it was last year and things that are up to 50% less on craigslist, because there is nobody listing but people who accept their controlling terms they've created a rip off only market under full tracking. Works great for kijiji as they sell the data, and sellers doubled their prices on a lot of things. I would never sign up to them and as a result will never buy anything. Best place now is craigslist. Kijiji are nothing but liars and cheaters and they don't even belong in Canada. Its a US company with foreign employees.

Extremely unprofessional and poor customer service! Useless and rude agents! Your service is just a shame! Agent called Hassan is useless and very unprofessional! Train and teach your staff how to deal with the customers and to listen what they are asking instead of saying lies to them and terminating the chat! I am trying to place an add in my account where i have two adds to reactivate the second free one and it keeps disappearing. I contacted customer service to check the issue and they are telling me i have another account where i have the same adds which is COMPLETE LIE! I have never had any other account on kijiji and never placed any add in other account! When i asked to show me which is the second account or check the details he just said i see it and good buy and terminated the chat! SO DISGUSTING! I WANT TO REACH YOUR MANAGEMENT TEAM AND REPORT ABOUT THIS AGENT! WHO IS SHAME AND YOU MUST CHECK HOW YOUR AGENTS WORK AND WHAT THEY DO! I WILL GO TO EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA TO LET EVERYONE KNOW YOUR DISGUSTING SERVICES! AGENT HASSAN O IS YOUR SHAME TEACH HIM CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!

Add's are showing, even tough kijiji mentioned that I have no adds posted
When adds are posted they don't show when I search for them
Top adds dont show in the top!
KIJIJI really sucks!

Put up a PAID ad they took it down the same day and took a payment the next! They don't even give you an explanation! They just cut off the live chat when they want! Very dishonest. Next step BBB

This is my first time ever in my entire 27 years that I have ever felt the need to leave a comment. I have never used Kijiji in my life but decided only recently to use it to rent my condo. My condo is located in downtown Montreal fairly priced for long term rental. Upon posting my ad, it was taken down momentarily. I have tried reaching the live chat but they said my ad was suspicious, closed the chat and blocked account just like that. Moving forward, I have spoken to several other agents which all closed the chat box immediately after the first message. I've tried sending emails and even messaged your instagram page who told me they would look into it. I did not get any replies for neither. This is UTTERLY FRUSTRATING. Now who is responsible for approving ads on Kijiji?!?!?! I am 100% positive that my ad conforms with your company guidelines so why I am blocked from posting anything?!? PLEASE get someone to get back to me ASAP, I've never felt such sheer anger and frustration in my life. You guys are by far the worst site that I have dealt with in my entire life.

If you are looking for a handyman- carpenter-- and you see POLLY Reno s--- lives and works in Vernon BC-- be very afraid/// he was here working for us and said 1 thing he could do was Concrete--- the large pad that is poured is a nightmare low /high spots and chipping on top after just 2 weeks/// and dont count on him showing up for work; we phone and ask if he will be back to work in the morning-- never shows up// he was suppose to put a Rv shelter roof on was-- suppose to be done 2 wks ago; and all the lumber is just lying on the garage floor-- he will even call you says yep will be there at 9 AM-- no call no show--- we have had lots of tradesman here for the last 2 yrs-- no problems--- If you need more aggravation in your life.
