A couple of weeks ago, we booked a riding session with kidsnbits at Pine Grove Stables for our 4 year old daughter and 6 year old son. The experience was less than the fun filled morning we had been looking forward to and promised. The women that runs this circus of horror, Petra, I believe, was a women confined to a walker, and did nothing but yell and scream at the children and the volunteers, who were helping. From my view, the volunteer, were trying to do their best but were struggling with ponies that should never have had children on them. Both of our children were tossed out of the saddles on to the ground. Petra just sat in her walker, again yelling at the volunteers, as if it was their fault. She also claimed that she was an experienced horse person, however we saw no experience at all. On the phone with her when we made the appointment, she gave the impression that she owned the stable. However it turned out she was just a boarder, who continually complained about the owner, (Andrew, I believe was his name) going on and on on how he should not be in the boarding business as he was not good at it and had recently fed her pony bad hay and it died as a result. (something I really doubt).
In summary, avoid this camp at all costs for the sake of your children and sanity.
