I started using it when I was 8 and grew the worst hatred I ever had for it. The entire website is frustrating, which led me to start crying at least 50 times. My parents still make me do it anyways. I've started getting the worst anger issues possible due to this website. I've literally even tried breaking my laptop with my fists. If your a parent, trust me on this. Your kid will gain depression from this website. Don't make your kids use it. Consider this as a warning. The questions are super confusing and It still didn't help me understand equivalent fractions. Don't let ur parents find this website kids. Your life WILL be ruined.
Khan Academy is a app that is free. But does free = good?
First of all, if you get ONE question wrong, you have to restart the whole $#*! lesson... Made me use a calculator for everything, even if I'm not using Khan...
The videos? Well they make NO SENSE!1! They are useless, nothing else much.
Overall, this app is SH*T!11!1! Its only good if you need to use it for studying, but when you are forced to do it... well. Yeah.
My dog did Khan Academy and commited suicide. Due to getting the last question wrong on the pre test.
My dog is DEAD. I do not care but my fish started doing it and went into khan academy and went into a coma. Frick u.
Super unclear just had to get lucky`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
I had to do khan academy and I got F**KING D's. SO I STOPED I got A's again. But THEN I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN AND NOW I HAVE C's
My teacher introduced it to us and our class loved it, they give you videos to help you understand what you are learning and you can earn energy points. You can also get better characters with energy points. If you are looking for a math game, this is one you should be looking for ( tip: do not try st math it sucks) khan academy is one of the best math
Games out there and I would recommend it to lots of kids.
I was doing it one day at a house and my cousins were playing darts. One of my cousins gave me a dart, and was joking that I would blindly hit the dartboard or wall. 2 seconds later I got a question wrong on K.A. I was so mad I threw the dart, hit the dartboard, and broke it in half. I started crying for 20 minutes.
Nice site video lectures about everything. Cover almost every topic of student. Nice site for every student
Ok joke title.but the website it kinda hard but it kinda cooler then iready since iready is a brat webstie lol.
It makes me learn new things I like to practice all my skills in math I now do 6th grade math and i'm in 3rd grade
You can even practice for tests like the SAT and MCAT! I love khan academy! It really helped me get better grades!
This is better than xtramath, but that doesn't mean its really that nice, first of all, you don't really get to see what you gotta do, which is learn, second of all, its a bit boring and it punishes you too much for getting a question wrong, and also they used the prodigy level up sound, and also, the "levels" don't really make you seem cool, this is a alright program but its not the best
The thing is $#*!, you can't learn a thing, It $#*!ING $#*!, get 1 thing wrong, you have to redo whole $#*!ING PRACTICE/TEST/PRETEST a good score. The thing should be banned and the videos don't teach you anything, they just explain. The pratices give you a headache, The thing is $#*!ing stupid, Do NOT USE THIS $#*!ING website, IT WILL TURN YOU INSANE AND KILL YOU. IT WILL SEND YOU TO HELLLLLLLLL! I HAVE it a 1 star/rating though it should get a -1 star/rating(also spread the word that Khan acdemy is BULL $#*!ING $#*! $#*! $#*! $#*!ING STUPID!)
This website is so helpful you get taught the right way and when you do it it makes you smarter ill definitely recommend

Khan Academy is terrible. Khan gives a complcated formula, which is fine, but Khan poorly or does not define what each variable—of several—means. Complicated formulae are easy, just plug in; but one has to say what each variable stands for. Khan is much too minimalistic, where one is puzzled how F01 is derived, "add all the scores," or "input the greatetst score," or, "average the scores." Instead, there is no defining the variables. Khan is ridiculous. Khan is no help for the SAT, for instance, because Khan is is trying to say in one sentence what requires six sentences.
Khan Academy will ruin your life. Trust me. Nothing good comes out of it. Don't use it. Don't tell anyone else to use it. It does only harm to your academics. I used to have all A's and 1 or 2 B's on my report card. Then, someone suggested Khan Academy and I started using it right away. Then I got F's and D's on my report cards. I stopped using it ASAP. After trying other programs I got to all A's again. Don't go through what I did. Skip the hard part and NEVER use Khan Academy.
This might be an outlier review, I am an 18yr old college student trying to study for the College math CLEP test, which would exempt me from a couple math classes in school. As a kid, I hated math, I was brought to tears every time I thought about it, I never understood it or had a single positive experience with it. To the point where I thought something was wrong with me. As a little girl, this really took a toll on me. Fast forward some years later, i'm taking on the task of studying math on my own this summer to take a CLEP test that would exempt me from taking 2 math classes in school. Knowing how much I had to learn in front of me, I decided to do Khan Academy.
For the first time in my entire life, math doesn't suck. Sal's careful explanations help me understand concepts that I haven't understood for multiple years. I went into Khan Academy skeptical, because like many of the kids writing reviews, I took 'Khan Academy Kids' as a youngster and thought it was very boring. Compared to any other learning program for higher level college math, it's a breath of fresh air. No 30 min videos that are depressing just to watch, no boring questions you'll never use in life. I mean who wouldn't want to watch Sal teach a math problem using 5 different colors and whatever obscure object he comes up with to represent the value of x?
With Khan academy, I'm actually learning, I'm actually happy, I have hope to pass my exams, and most importantly, Sal is reshaping my impression of math from an instant reminder of childhood frustration and sadness, to something that I even catch myself having fun with. I never thought it was possible. If you or your kid is like me and just never 'gets it' when it comes to math (especially algebra), please consider Khan Academy.
It is very good It explains everything that I need to know has videos, much better than IXL just one Problem. When you get a Question wrong then the whole exercise can't level up
Answer: There is an old adage in education, that 'Spaced' learning is more effective than 'Clumped' learning. Waiting for the next Mastery challenge teaches patience, allows you to practice more skills in the dashboard, so the mastery challenges have more to do assessment on, and as you note, ensure that the concepts are transferring from short-term, to long term memory in your brain.
