KEH's inhouse blogs sometimes include 'how to' info about specific equipment. But, what's really cool is when KEH has that equipment in stock and the blog will take you there via a link. So today a KEH has enlighted me about a type of macro photography where you reverse the lens. Plus they had the lens & reversing ring adapter in stock (at an excellent price). So now I begin a new adventure in photography. Thanks, guys!!!

I had been looking for the Zeiss 28mm ZM lens for my Leica M8 for a while; I'd seen it on the site once before but in a day's time it was gone. Today, the Zeiss Zunday was another opportunity. We'll see how things go with the lens coming into Canada - I'm not sure if the duty will be paid as part of International Shipping cost or if it will come after. I would appreciate hearing about how to expedite the order if duties can be paid prior to sending. Thanks.

I have no clue what "BGN' actually means. After 4 purchases this year, every product looks "Exc ++" to me. Including the recent Nikon digital. Maybe because it had 18k shutter count? It looks perfect and is operationally perfect. Certainly a lot "Minter" than the "Near Mint" cameras on Ebay from Japan. Maybe the word mint doesn't translate well.
The only issue I've ever had from KEH is the package being left at the end of my 100 ft driveway. But that's not KEH. That's those morons at FedEx.

Buying a camera (even used) can be stressful- KEH answered my questions and gave good advice. They did not try to steer me to buy the more expensive camera/lens but the one that most fit my needs. Have recommended the company to friends. And the camera and lens were packed so safely! Love the cases that they came in as well- added bonus! If I had a drawback, I would love a manual for the camera (but I didn ´ t ask yet).

Excellent as always, I've been buying from you for over 10years now & couldnt be happier!! thank you! I also made another 2 larger orders! My only issue is that I couldn't get any of the 'discount codes' to work & wonder if this is because I'm overseas?? I hope you can fix the issues as a small saving on the $1000's I've spent in the last month or so would be great & most welcome!

Terrific customer service. I ordered a lens but had my credit refused. Called and spoke to a gentleman ( I apologize for not remembering his name) explaining what happened. I tried too many times and it locked me out. He said he was working on Saturday and would make a note to follow up. Saturday I got a call from him saying my card went thru and it would be shipped at the beginning of the week.

This was my first order from KEH. The lens I ordered was delivered very quickly (to Canada) and was in "like new minus" shape, as advertised. It was carefully packaged.
I didn't save a ton of money by not buying new (in total, including shipping and duty ca. $1320 CAD as opposed to ca. $1400 CAD new) but I'm generally happy with my purchase.

In an area with minimal wifi so had a lot of difficulty on this site. Took over an hour to find the 14 items I needed, then it told me "item not in stock" BUT not which item and would not let me continue. Had to empty my basket and start over. Also, KEH doesn't seem able to ship to where I am (Dutch Harbor, AK), so I will not be able to actually to use my new stuff for another 2 months when I visit friends in Seattle.

I have always been more than satisfied with KEH, their products, and customer service. The only issue I have is with Fedex. They've given false delivery times twice. The first time I waited at home all day waiting for a package because I was concerned that it would get wet from heavy rain, but it didn't arrive They didn't change the delivery time until late that evening. There have been hundreds of complaints and local news reports about their horrible service so hopefully it will now improve.

I pass 2 orders and 1 item didn't work like supposed.

This was just a super smooth customer service and product experience, my package arrived quickly, my products were wrapped very safely, my equipment worked (but I could also tell that they clearly tested it thoroughly which is exactly what I would hope for), and they kept me informed about my order throughout the process. Ordering online can often be a nerve wracking and frustrating experience for me, especially with refurbished electronics, but this was so well done, and I really appreciated that. Thank you!

Everything was great, but it would be nice if it were easier to filter for step-up rings by size just like you can for filters rather than having to scan/search. I have enjoyed your site a lot more since I learned about "Back in stock" and "Newly Arrived," but it would be even better if those two were combined together, since both represent things you now have that you did not have as of some other recent time point.

First time getting used equipment from KEH. I bought several vintage Nikkor lenses listed as "ugly" or "as it" to practice disassembly and re-assembly them, not expecting that they will even be usable. To my surprise, the optics of these lenses were better than listed, mostly just dirty or dusty, but no scratches or nicks. A couple only had cosmetic damages and were even immediately usable. Looking forward to making more purchases from KEH in the future.

I've waited 6 years to save up to purchase one of the two lenses I wanted for my camera before coming across this site. I was super nervous to purchase a lense sight unseen, but after combing through many reviews and reading over their rating system I decided to take a chance to see if I could save myself some money. I purchased an Excellent rated lens and was impressed beyond relief once it arrived. I received a practically brand new lens for a fraction of the price. KEH will now be my go-to camera equipment company for future purchases.

I just started out in commercial photography after years away, so long in fact all of my equipment was analog.  I purchased a beautiful Nikon D7 and 3 beautiful lenses, a tripod/ball head, flash and stand among many other things and I couldn't be happier. The equipment is in stunningly beautiful condition. It is better than new because it's been gone over by a professional before they sell it.

Camera was in even better condition than described! Came in a little custom KEH pouch which was a very nice, thoughtful touch. Pouch was even color coordinated to the camera. Shipping was FAST. This was my first purchase from KEH. When I got the camera I checked the data and got a shutter count. Only 300 or so shots had been taken. Basically a new camera for almost 80% off the original new price. Can't beat it. I've already made a second purchase and will be back to shop with them again to supply my photography business. Glad I found these great people!

Relatively easy to search. Some items did not come up through exact search, but overall decent experience. I wish there were coupon codes avail, discount for someone who's sold a bunch of stuff to your SoCal buyer in the past or discount for multiple items in one order. I feel like I spent more than I should have for each item, tax and shipping.

Wanted to upgrade my lens choice and the KEH site gives a straightforward grading system on their lenses. The lens I received is in great condition. Packaging is really good. Have already tried it out and lens works fantastic. Looking forward to my next purchase. This is a great way of upgrading lenses if you're on a budget and wanting to get better with your personal photography.

Your shopping cart disappears WAY too fast. Let me spend a little bit of time deciding.... I had to select the same products on 3 different occasions because the cart would just appear empty

The item (a Pentax flash) was as good or better than described.
It came with everything noted, as well as original box and papers,
Which I don't remember being noted in description.

If possible, I would recommend noting everything included. It may
Mean something to collectors and can be an indication of the care
Original owner took of item.

That's NOT a complaint. I was pleasantly surprised.

I've heard wonders about KEH Camera from many sources, mostly from youtube.
But since I live in Asia (Singapore) I knew that shipping cost would be the only thing stopping me from ordering from your site.

One day I saw that you guys had two essential items that I needed to finish my current set-up, and I decided to order.
When the order finally arrived I was ecstatic at first, but slowly it turned to disappointment and later frustration.
First of all, the item wasn't as shown on the listing. I don't think you guys warn that it was just a stock photo placeholder. (small issue as long as the item still worked but didn't)
Second, despite the quality labeled Excellent, it was As it is at best, my item was damaged. (Leica Adapter that was chipped, not being able to read frame lines)
And last of all, the item was stuck to my lens, which I had to get professionally removed at great financial cost.

But I was pleased with the other item, which was how I initially thought it'll be.
If the entire order went smoothly I would have ordered again. But now I'm not so sure.

So far the customer service people have been somewhat helpful over email, but they do feel like pre-programmed responses and not actual people behind the keyboard, which feels quite frustrating.

To finish off this review, I love what you guys do and I wish my experience would have been better,
I hope my next purchase would be a much better experience.

I ordered a new lens, expecting it to come in between some tournaments I was shooting. I got a notice it was out for delivery as I was packing up to leave town, so I just tossed the box with my stuff and hit the road. I was going to shoot test pictures with it and switch back to my daily lens, but next thing I know I've shot 4000 pictures of sports over two days. Put them up on the computer and they looked really good. It looks brand new, everything was included that they said, and I had no problems whatsoever.

Quick. Pretty efficient. 4 stars instead of 5 reasons below.

I wish the actual product was displayed, but I fully understand how time consuming that would be and would certainly add to the cost. FWIW, the photos showed at least 2 versions of this lens.

Also, I entered a coupon for 12% off, but for unknown reasons the checkout didn't accept it. A 10% off coupon did work apparently.
