Kamikoto

I am delighted with these knives. They are a fantastic addition to my kitchen. They combine a handsome box, they feel great in my hands, and they are SHARP. That is a great combination. I recommend them.

As a new customer of Kamikoto a few months ago, I have experienced a bad delivery by Australia Post and Kamikoto right away investigated and rectified the order at their own cost. I was very appreciative (not with Australia Post) and been ordering their quality knives for family members as presents. Everybody had excellent comments about the sharpness and quality of Kamikoto knives. I proudly display their knives on their magnetic wooden knife holders. After my first purchase of the cleaver, I fell in love with the design and the quality of Kakimoto knives. With my second order, the package was unfortunately lost during the delivery. The customer service took care of the issue and sent the replacement right away. I never write product reviews but I'm compelled to let the world know Kamikoto is committed to deliver the best knife quality as well as impeccable customer service.

This is my third purchase I liked my cleaver so much, I gave my son one for his birthday. Both him and his wife are giddy with the knife.

I have the 7 knife set coming in a couple of days I am excited to put them to work The Black is next.

My Kamikoto kuro knife broke at the handle while cutting a small chicken up to grill. I tried to contact customer support at *******@kamikoto.com. I was IGNORED. I have at least 7 sets of these knives. They knives look good but they are too fragile to use. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID. The kamikoto kuro knife set was close to $500. Pure junk made in china. A 1000 year company should know how to treat their customers. I think it's all a lie. I'm very very disappointed. No warranty what so ever.

I have been a Kamikoto client for some year now. My recent order, a Chuka Bocho Cleaver, arrived quickly and it is a great knife. However, the parcel service asked for an additional delivery fee while Kamikoto promised free delivery. I paid. Then I forwarded the invoice to Kamikoto and asked if they would refund - they did within 24 hours. THIS is amazing customer service - and therefore I will also order in the future from Kamikoto. They truly honor their promise and exceed expectations. Thank you!

I purchased the Kanpeki knife set together with the Toishi whetstone advertised recently in The Economist for a much discounted price. There were some complications in the dispatching caused initially by me, so I was in contact with the support desk which proved to be outstandingly helpful and very prompt. In fact my knives arrived well within the advertised deadline. I have now started to use the knives, they are magnificent and I have no doubt that I will have many years enjoyable use of them.

Excellent set of knives. Each of them have perfectly balanced weight in hand; not too heavy or too light. The handle feels nice with a good grip and quality material. I've only used the utility and vegetable knife to cut tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, lettuce, onions and potatoes I have to say it makes me enjoy my time in the kitchen even more than the usual. You can slice vegetables to be a thin as paper and there's absolutely no need to press down on the knife to do so. The Kanpeki set is amongst the best knives I've ever used hands down.
What also makes Kamikoto great is the exceptional level of customer service that I've experienced. Every time I've been in contact with the customer service regarding my shipment and an issue that came up later, they were very professional and courteous in handling the situation and gave me a sense of satisfaction at the end of the conversation. Thank you Kamikoto for the excellent knives and for the exceptional experience!

Lovely items. I own 6 Kamikoto knives and they have all been sent swiftly and securely to Iceland. They have reached me in perfect condition and come in beautiful wooden boxes. They feel almost too pretty to use but I am happy to report that they work very well :) Thank you.
