We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

I applied what little I could see in the videos and I am satisfied.
I am looking forward to having a calm, polite and above all happy dog after the MasterClass.
With every email I've received its been working on my puppy only problem im having is having him go outside to do his 1 &2 but I guess that'll come in due time after he's had all shots he's only 3 months old and has brought so much joy to my life I was missing something and he's brought that to me thank you k9 training
I went in the canine website looking for help with training my new 8 week old puppy they have been most helpful with sending me some training courses and videos through my email I would highly recommend
Great advice in the free training clip. Ive put the tips to the test already. I have a small dog who loves to bark and then jump all over guests.
Its going to be a work in progress but at least I have a plan now.
Innovative ideas, eager to try on a new pup! I love the "dogs need a job" approach. So true, especially for high energy dogs.
Many of the details shown; dog showing unwanted behavior and then dog showing great behavior; were great! I would have liked to see a little more of the in between action, but I understand that was to wet my appetite to buy the training. I already have a rather well trained dog right now. He just needs a few tweaks. I have already added the 4 ways of discipline and he is responding unbelievably!
Thank you for the video!
I found the tips on the K9 training to be extremely helpful and immediate. Max responded so well after just a few attempts, his past training came back fully.
Our 3 yr old grand-dog a great pup, but is a 'door barker' and jumps on visitors. This video gives me hope that we can rehab his behavior as the dog in the video is about the same size/age as ours, showing this can work for grown dogs, not just puppies :). Can't wait to try it!
Even though these training tips are free, they are very helpful. I have two large dogs, a lab and a cane Corso. These tips have helped me in training these dogs safely
Easy to follow instruction. Results were achieved quickly with dedicated practice and short time bursts. Training was incorporated into to everyday life.
Training explained well, will help in training with my morkie
The principals rang true with me from the get go. I couldn't wait to see if they would work with my Bernedoodle pup. The results were amazing.
Used the stop barking ideal and has really helped with him not barking at everything. Thank you for the info.
I watched the video and believe it is effective and I look forward to trying the techniques that were covered.
K9 institute helped me to train my puppy in a way that showed full potential of the breed. It helped me to enhance the bond between me and my dog
This brief training guide was an eye-opener. It totally makes sense! Humans communicate with our voice and language but canines communicate through body language. Although it may be difficult for us humans to switch gears and 'think like a dog', it is totally doable! I wish there was an in-person trainer near me to help show me in depth how this technique applies to my dogs. Thank you.
I was really impressed by the Give your Dog a job tip - I sort of did that with my reactive Jack Russell when another dog came into view and I made her sit quietly, but wasn't sure why it worked (she now sits when she sees a strange dog and so long as it isn't allowed to lunge at her or come too close she beghaves well. Now I know what I'm doing and why, I can extend that to other situations where her behaviour is less good than I would like. If I hadn't just had to stop work I'd be buying the course - one day when I can afford it I will.
I enjoyed the workshop and I'm interested in ordering the program. At the discounted price, it's expensive and too little time is provided to take advantage but I intend on trying to purchase with the payment plan. However, if I miss the discount time, I would never purchase an online only program for the full price requested. In person training would be much less, even from a highly rated trainer. I'm quite capable of training my dog using guidance from a program. This program looks to be a very positive type of training and I hope to take advantage. After actually seeing the entire program, I will leave another review.
This training method really will work... It's always a good idea to have a job for your furry family member...
