The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

I like this company. They offered information that makes complete sense. Their rate is cheaper than a live dog trainer and the training allows you to train your dog at your own pace.
We are inspired by how they do things that we plan on turning several abandoned dogs into service dogs so they are appreciated instead of turned away. Its our way of giving these animals a second chance.
Really enjoyed watching the introductory video training and all of the training techniques presented made a lot of sense. I have tried a number of these techniques with our new four-month-old puppy and the technique to get them to stop jumping has worked extremely well. Now I just need a training course for my two young kids and we shouldn't have any further issues with this sort of behaviour.
I have watched the free dog training workshop which includes some really helpful information in training my dog…. Which I have already started to begin implementing. Definitely considering getting the full Master Training Course!
So far so good. Have tried the U-turn technique for stopping pulling on leash and it seems to work. Maggie needs to stay "busy" so giving her jobs to do makes sense.
It has really helped me with my new puppy! I didn't know how to even start to train my dog or to get him to stop pulling on the leash or to pay attention to me but watching your video helped me so so much. I can not thank you enough!
I have learned some very informative information about a dog's behavior, eye contact that I never heard of before
The email messages have been extremely helpful in trading my pup, now 10 months old. Although I have trained 5 dogs previously, I have learned a few things that have made this last trading a lot faster, and easier
I am very impressed and pleased with what information and tools I recieved out of "just the free trainging course"! I really wanted to do a training like this with our puppy! I hope by the end of this 10 week course I can still give a five star rating:-)
I enjoyed the free video. I realize it is an intro to purchasing the more in depth training program, but it is still very helpful in providing an overview and tips for training.
I have learned a lot from this training. It has been very helpful. My main thing is to just have patients my puppy is only 12 weeks old so the main focus is getting her to focus.
I have always trained my dogs the "old school " way. I had good results doing it that way I tried your method and I was amazed! Less stress on me and my dog.
Thank you!
K9 has great advise to make owner and our beloved dogs better in life with each other. I'm making my a dog a service dog and just 1 of there videos made a difference.
I am an older dog owner. I have learned new ways to communicate with my dad. It's great
We're new puppy owners and we've had dogs ages 2 till they were 10 and one to 15. But, having a puppy can be very trying. But with all these tips has helped tremendously!
We have not had a puppy for 35 years
We were at our wits end trying to deal with her the last three months!
The short part of the video for k9 training for service dogs taught us a tremendous amount in only twenty minutes
Unfortunately I was forced to cook dinner so I had to stop the video
And when I was able to return I was unable to reload it
But it was very informing and helped us by leaps and bounds in training our puppy
The free training video by K9 Training Institute is well done and gets right to the point, training you can use at home with your dog. I like the service dog approach based on the dog's attention (watching & attending to owner/trainer). The dog gets a job, responsiveness to owner/trainer's body movements. The dog has a "natural" human-animal bond related job instead of simply reacting to verbal commands. Easy to follow instructions that translate to your dog.
The body language of dogs is different to human, so far, so good. But how to handle it and what to do in special situations, like barking or jumping. Thanks a lot for sharing your professional experience to improve our (my and my buddy's) relationship.
