I am seriously scared of tax season this year. A company I used to work for spun off a sub company, which sold, and then the parent company sold to a public company. I have shares in both companies... and no idea what the tax implications are. Talk about a mess come April 15! I had a ton of questions and I don't have a CPA. I'm typically a TurboTax kinda person, but this year is going to be different. A friend of mine told me that I could talk to an accountant through JustAnswer, so I gave it a shot. I'm seriously impressed! The accountant walked me through my tax liability at both companies, gave me a general idea of my AMT burden and just made me feel more confident in general before filing my taxes. I really want the woman I spoke with to do my taxes for me. Not sure they offer that service, but I'm going to ask!
I ask for help diagnosing my dishwashers poor performance. With out asking any questions his reply, after 2 days was "More than likely the motor impeller has become detached, then the unit will fill with water and the motor will turn on, but no water will be pumped around to wash the dishes."
I read a few more forums and found it was the rinse aid and the soup. I switched to what they recommend as well as run a couple of CRL cycles and it good as new.
I was lead to believe I only had to pay if I liked the advice. So somehow the Appliance Guru got $24 and a 5 star rating?

So I was contacted by an administrator from JA and refunded my money plus an additional $38.00 CND. (I will return the money, I wasn't looking to make anything on this post) Now my first review was harsh due to the attention I got and what seamed to me like a scam. I wanted answers. Now after conversing with Adam I get the feeling that this service has a lot of merit or potential. I've read good reviews before using the service. I just didn't get ahold of my professional at a good time, got one of the bad ones or slipped through the cracks some how. We are still dealing with the human element!

Don't use JustAnswer. Once you give them your credit card number they pull the money out even before they give you a answer. They also put you on a page that gives you three options on how much you want to pay for their service a month. They have it fixed so you have to choose one. Then your stuck. They say they have a chat line. THERE IS NO CHAT LINE. After several phone calls all you get is recordings. NO PERSON ANSWERS THE PHONE. Email is AUTOMATIC RESPONCES. DON'T DO IT, IT'S A SCAM

We recently lost power to over a dozen electrical outlets in my house. I have a basic knowledge of household electricity, but all of the regular "check the breakers and GFCI" type advice didn't work, neither did checking the voltage at my breakers. I NEEDED EXPERTISE, not conjecture!

Our 12-year old beloved doggie, Buddy, had been under the weather for more than a week - lethargic, not drinking or eating much - but every few days he seemed to brighten up a bit, only to sink back. He had so few symptoms that we didn't take him to the vet (and the charges to see the vet are so high!) - we thought he'd "get over it," like a cold or the flu. I wrote Dr. Andy one evening as Buddy lay asleep with his head on my foot as usual, and asked him about Buddy's symptoms. Dr. Andy said Buddy's symptoms for a 12-year doggie for over a week definitely must be checked by a local vet. We took him in to a ER Vet that night; he couldn't determine the cause of his problem(s) after doing all the tests we had determined we could afford. We brought Buddy home with us, and after snuggles, put him in his bed in our bedroom. He passed away in the early morning hours. We will miss him so.
We are so thankful that Dr. Andy apprised us of the seriousness of Buddy's condition, and the importance of taking him in to see a vet. I believe we would have had some guilt if we hadn't consulted a vet.
How else can busy, working people gain access to expert advice, than through such a service as this? Thank you for making this available.
Okay, I admit I'm a hypochondriac, but I also do have MS, severe Fibromyalgia and a couple other things. I don't like going to a germy, overheated Dr office just to make sure I'm not going to expire from something on late Friday night. I just turned 60 and have an eye infection I'm being treated for, for over a week. It's not much better, so I suddenly decided at midnight that I obviously must have cataracts, now that I'm officially elderly.

I think your service is valuable for people like myself who do not have unlimited funds to troubleshoot and repair everyday automotive issues on their vehicle. I would stress that the correspondent be made aware of the many variations in vehicle design and operation. It would also be very helpful if the correspondent has a basic knowledge of mechanics, automotive systems and accesability to workshop and wiring manuals that relate to his or her specific problem. Assuming that people know more that they actually do and throwing parts at a problem are not helpful to sound logical and good troubleshooting procedures.
Just Answer is wonderful. I've used it twice and my problems were solved both times. I'm a senior and sometimes I need help with my computer and camera. Their techs are so patient and yet tenacious, they will work with you until the problem is solved.

Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work.
