I have been searching for makeup with healthy ingredients so I took a chance with JULEP! I am 69 years young and Never have I tried a mascara that did not make my eyes hurt and burn all day! I have been wearing With a Twist mascara all day now and the relief is amazing! I also bought three colors of eyeshadow I absolutely love (don't let that charcoal scare you away, ladies) I use it like an eyeliner ALL around my eyes AND as a brow filler! It is very soft and I do not look like a raccoon. Lol I also bought the Clay Matte & the Pearl Shimmer … just a perfect combination and so natural looking. And last, I got the concealer which I Love because it brightens your eyes without looking shinny or oily. I always had to use face powder and now, I do Not! I am getting ready to order more products, especially have my eye on the healthy nail polish. I am so thankful to this company because I can now wear makeup again without irritation all day long! And it truly does LAST! Thank you JULEP for a healthy product and at a very SWEET Price! Patti
I placed an order for amount 200.00 worth of make - up with the understanding it would be shipped out ASAP since I paid for express. It now has been 10 business days and still no word on my order other than it's being processed. They claim 3-5 business days... Yeah, right. I could go to Ultra or another shop and get the same items by another company without the bs this company is handling out.

I ordered a kit of eye shadows and received only one color. False advertising, do not trust. I agree with the other poor reviews and will not purchase from this company again.
I placed an order online and it arrived today. I was billed for my full order. Two items are missing from my packing slip and my shipment, however they show on my online purchase order on their website. I noticed the items that are missing are no longer in stock. I'd specifically placed this order in the first place FOR THOSE ITEMS and had added a few others, the items that did arrive, just to reach the free shipping threshold. Normally when an order is placed the stock should show accurately whether it's available or not. If for some reason their inventory was way off, then they should at least reach out to the customer to let them know that said items are out of stock and refund the difference to the original method of payment. I run a business myself - very similar in process - and I have the system set to show accurate inventory and errors are never made. If for some reason an error occurs which has not happened thus far, my system would automatically refund the difference and alert the buyer of the situation in advance. The LAST thing I'd ever do is just bill someone for something I'm not shipping and then just "wait and see" if said customer notices. I also notice that the negative reviews on Julep here tend to be billing related as well. Perhaps Julep may take notice and make the three clicks within the site's platform that it would take in order to put these in place to avoid further inventory and billing issues.
Ordered something. Never received it. Contacted customer service. You only receive a grammatically incorrect computerized response. There is no live person to help. Had to dispute charge with credit card company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I placed my first order with Julep last Wednesday. Today is Monday and still hasn't shipped. I wish I had not ordered from them, and never will again.
I placed an order on cyber monday - it has been in process for 9 days. I emailed to ask when it would be received and if not by Christmas I would want to cancel. The person that responed never gave me a timeframe or status - sent me a return form. I emailed back that I only wanted to return if not rec'd by Christmas. Someone nicely replied that they would send tracking once shipped. A couple of hours later the first person who was so rude cancelled my order. Worst customer service ever! They billed me on 12/3 and now tell me to wait 10 days for a refund? Worst company ever - will be out of business soon.
An order from December was returned according to their policies, however after several emails, there is no response on the over $200 worth of products that were returned. From other reviews. This company likes you to order from them but doesn't like it when you need to return or cancel. Look at similar reviews and be very cautious when ordering from this company.
What can I say that I got every product I paid for and I paid for a few that I did not want. Customer service is impossible and more like customer handling. I loved the products and the prices but it is not worth being taken for. My CS rep told me we had discussed something after no reply for five days and then doing the opposite of what I asked. If you do not have funds available at the time for the box in your shopping fund, they will keep running it until it goes through although your window to order/edit/skip a month is about 3 days. Shady shady shady. I cancelled my membership with sadness over the loss of products and gave them every chance to make it right. And then they tried to send another box before they refunded me. I had to escalate to get the refund that I havent gotten yet and escalate again to skip the box this month. Then I just cancelled. Use a prepaid card if you really need the awesome polish.

Subscribed to get my first box free and that was all fine and dandy until I tried to cancel.

Didn't get ahold of someone for weeks, and when I finally did, they canceled and I STILL never got a confirmation email.
Long story short, I had to have my credit card company put a stop payment request for all charges coming from them and they FINALLY canceled my subscription.
The nail polish isn't even that nice either. And the stupid eyeliner smudges like nobody's business.
