I am a female who does her own mechanical work on her vehicle. I came across Jc Whitney. They had everything I needed and for at least 20 to 60 bucks cheaper then local auto part stores. All products were correct shipped on time. Very very happy.
Bought some parts on eBay, confirmed them with the seller (JC Whitney) Parts catalog that they would be correct and right fitment. Received them and they are wrong, double checked parts manufacture website and sure enough JC Whitney's catalog is wrong! Not only would they not return the brand new parts that have never been installed, much less barely out of the box, they wont admit they have a cataloging issue! Lost any of my business in the future and I repair a lot of vehicles and order a lot of parts online!
I started ordering from them many years ago, back in the early 60's, when their name was "Warshawsky & Co." Never had an issue with price, but people must remember in order to get that low price, they will drop ship from other warehouses throught the country and foreign. It doesn't hurt to pick up the phone and call them directly in Chicago to get a LIVE person to give you an approximate time period and not always trust the time given on the internet.
This website has a good amount of products for different people. I use them to purchase motorcycle parts, and items for camping. But they offer products from automobile, RV, motorcycle, and a bunch more.
If you are in the market for items like tires, car covers, parts for cars, items to spice up your ride, then they have it.
I have always had great customer service and never had any problems with the products. They are always quality.
JCWhitney.com sent the wrong item, though is was packaged in the right package! Customer service was outstanding, advising me that a refund would be issued and to NOT send back the wrong item! I received a prompt refund, but sent the wrong item back anyway.
