IXL IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. ALL I WANT TO DO IS ENJOY MYSELF BUT NOOOO YOU HAVE TO DO IXL. IT DOESN'T EBEN HELP TEACH, IT GIVES QUESTIONS AND IF YOU GET ONE WRONG IT TELLS YOU THE ANSWER WHILE BARELY EXPLAINING IT. AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE "SMARTSCORE" FEATURE, ITS CLOSER TO DUMBSCORE THAN ANYTHING. AT THE BEGINNING YOU GET LIKE, 10 PER QUESTION AND LOSE LIKE 3. BUT NEAR THE END YOU GAIN 2 AND LOSE CLOSER TO 8. AND THE WHOLE TIME IXL IS LIKE KEEP GOING YOU CAN DO IT, WHILE MAKING YOU FEEL STUPID. DURING THE DIAGNOSTIC CHECK YOU GET A FEW QUESTIONS WRONG AND IT SAYS YOUR A THIRD GRADER. IN TOTAL I HATE IXL AND IT HAS ONLY MADE STUFF MORE DIFFICULT FOR ME. I. HATE. IXL.

I would go on IXL for homework and IT WOULD SUCK! LIke, I would go on IXL to study and I would get Instant Depression. Also IXL IS RIGGED! THIS SORRY EXCUSE OF AN ¨EDUCATIONAL APP¨ IS TRASH. SPARE YOUR HAPPINESS AND DON'T GET THIS APP

There isn't just smartscore. Oh no people. There are skills that FORCE you to get 4/5 correct IN THREE ROUNDS IN A ROW and worse, skills that FORCE you to get 5 correct in a row THREE ROUNDS IN A ROW and in that in a row there are parts where they send you back to the previous round if you get it wrong and it can't get worse right? WRONG i follow the directions, and BOOM it tells me i'm wrong so in summary IT'S BAD

I spent 16 hours on one thing and finished it a day later i started it on 11/9/21 and it didn't help still and i still failed the test wouldn't $#*!ing try it.

It is so boring and half the questions are so hard if you get 1 question wrong it takes you back 10 points and if you get 1 question right it only gives you one

Its not worth 79 Bucks. The testimonals are fake. They give u five points each question and take away ten points. And if u would like students not to hate u? DONT GET IT

Ixl is a learning website but in my opinon ixl is a false advertiment its not even ready to be uploaded their is bugs and wrong answers and makes answer up and ruines kids enjoiment and causing depression and myself cant deal with their nonsense and the supscription is bull so if you are seeing this please contact ixl and let the clan begain

IXL has managed to be so incredibly bad that it causes tears, broken devices, and in some cases can help with fuel depression. They also manage to steal time and sleep from kids and money their parents and schools. IXL doesn't help with anything except make kids hate school even more. IXL has caused me to stay up very late doing homework which is not good and IXL creators know this (picture below with proof) yet they make it incredibly hard to progress. When you reach the nineties range the questions become harder and you gain 2 points for each correct answer and lose 7 for each wrong answer, they even intentualy made the point loss 7 and not 6 so that if you made it to 98 (one away from finishing) and got one wrong, you would go to 91, after you brought yourself up you would be at 99 which means that because you lost 7 and not 6 you would have to do one extra question to get to 100, which means one more chance you have of going 7 back and raging. I checked my stats on IXL and I've spent 46 hours in the past 30 days on IXL, almost 2 whole days, meaning in 2 years I would spend about a month doing IXL. So in conclusion IXL is evil, they know they're evil, and they waste away kid's lives.

One time, I was practicing IXL on my chrome book, and I was at 70%, then, I got 1 question wrong, and it brought me back to 64%, and then, I got a question right, and the smart score went up 2%! I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT

Hey yall wassup. Its Jeffery from Alabama. (68-year-old male) My cousin divorced me last week and now I'm left homeless and living in the ghetto. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds or money to send my child Telemachus to public school, but somehow, I have an iPhone 15 to give him IXL on (Yes, I feed him). Every day I force him to get off his lazy a#$ and do the different variations of the quizzes in this app, and it's going great! Telemachus's mental health is deteriorating, but that's alright. As long as he knows how to solve for x. He is continuously learning how to say new words while practicing IXL, like f%$#*, b!tc$,@4s, and p*$$#. I'm so proud of him! The only complaint I have is that whenever I get my phone back to go on t!nder, there are always new cracks and punch marks on it, but I'm sure it's just a glitch! Telemachus lets out shrieks of joy similar to a hyena whenever he loses points! I'm so glad to see him having fun while learning.
Overall, IXL is a great app! 10/10 recommend if you are a homeless, 68-year-old man living in Alabama.

Okay, so im a 5th grader with bad grades, with 60%'s and below. And my grandparents force me to go to this webstie or sort. It's very hard and made me cry a few times. My teacher knows that i use IXL since my grandma told my teacher that, but the point is what im making is IXL is an SCAM! And can make your kids cry or such. If your an parent and reading this, DO.NOT.BUY.IXL! And when i use IXL, it didnt boost my grade. I hate this website. (background:i used IXL since 2nd grade, and it made me angry and sad alot of times, i used to be an A+ stundent not because of IXL its because of my father. But now im stuck with this IXL webstie for everday to use.)

IXL is supposedly a website for learning by "playing", but honestly it can make you way less motivated and very stressed. One reason is the fact that they don't even explain properly how to do that question. Here is one example:
"Is ******* divisible by 3?"
*gets it wrong*
IXL says "use the divisibility by 3 rule"
WHAT? You didn't even explain to me all the divisibility rules in the first place, and now you're telling me to answer this question without knowing how to do it. How do I understand that topic? By searching it on the web and in Khan Academy! That brings me to the second point: IXL is paid! You could easily learn math from a quick google search, but IXL simply throws questions at you and assume you know them.
This brings me to the last and final point: IXL's scoring system is absolute wack. Why? Well towards the end of the skill, when you get to your 80s and 90s, you get 2 points for getting it right and -10 points for getting it wrong! This not only decreases your motivation to continue but makes you bang your keyboard and perhaps destroy it!
If IXL had a better scoring system (+1 if you get it right and -1, if you get it wrong, would be way better), a better explanation system(include videos and explain everything clearly before throwing random crap at us), and if it was free(although it doesn't really matter), I would have easily given at least a 4-star review. But since that is not true, one star is the maximum of what I am going to give.

Bad and sucks i dont learn nothing. It just rivels up my anger and does not help me learn. It just makes me more angry. This is the worst learning experience i have ever had.

It is soo frustrating when you get to 99 and get one wrong then back to 90 for more frustrating questions I wish I could put 0 stars but I highly recommend to not get this app

You get forced by your parents to use IXL all the time, IT MAKES IT HARDER TO GET 100
I hate IXL because of trauma, to be honest. It is confusing to do what the tutorial does. It has the worst synced smart score (or is rigged).
