I have now used iPostal1 for 3 locations for my business. I had previously used them when we were travelling full-time. The service is always spectacular at each location and the forwarding shipping is fast. It is also very easy to instantly shred or discard junk mail. When I call a location and talk to an agent there, they are always polite, responsive, flexible and know the details of how the virtual mailbox works. I highly recommend for travelers, businesses and personal use.
I'm getting the services I signed up for and expected, so I'm pretty happy. Packages are being handled and scanned promptly and legibly, I get good feedback on my Inbox page (and maybe more emails than I need, considering), and forwarded mail and packages all arrive in great condition. Trying my first consolidation mailing today - I expect I will see something well-packed. I haven't gone there yet with bundles or with any kind of shredding services but I confidently expect to do so and to do well with them.
Overall my experience has been very positive. It was a little confusing when I was getting signed up and waiting for the approval process. I think that program could be a bit more user friendly. Since then the experience has been very easy. My one true complaint is that I postal were in more cities! As RV'ers we move around every 6 months. So this service is wonderful. We can change our address as we move. We need you in more cities!
I had questions about setting up my account and they walked me through every step on the phone. The staff was very knowledgeable. The online/over the phone notary service was super convenient. I was able to set everything up from my phone. No computer needed.
Convenience, address change is easy, versatile, mail can be processed however you choose. Love the daily updates. I know what is in my mailbox and can sort it before I pick it up.

Considering that this is my first virtual mailbox experience, I'm pleased. The customer service is timely and competent. I did have an issue with being billed for stored mail despite the fact that I never used that service. It turned out to be an error arising from a lack of clear instruction on how I was to manage my mail pieces in the software. The issue was immediately resolved though.
It's a good service and works as expected. However, they should improve the online interface so multiple users can log in rather than share a login. It's a good service but needs more advanced features. However, the service is still high quality and even better when connected to an office space. It's a good value for a small business.

We are using a private mailboxes while living in temp housing due to building a house. We like the app for the purpose of being notified that we have received mail, and seeing what it is and making a decision about whether we needed it picked up right away, or if it can wait for a few days. If there was one thing we could suggest for the app, it is that we would like to be given the option to notify the private mailbox center that the mail scanned to us is not ours, but belongs to someone else.
I was looking for an online post office site and after lots of research this one was the clear winner. Fast, easy to use, great responses. And you can physically pick up letters IF you choose. Highly recommended. My only note would be to spruce up the UI to make it a bit more attractive to the eyes. It feels a bit too old school Microsoft.
I Like iPostal1 A Lot. I Can See Exactly What Mail I Receive Because They Take Pictures Of It & It's Easy To Navigate. I Just Have An Issue With Transferring Mail From There To Another Address Because Sometimes It's Just One Piece Of Mail & They'll Charge Me $10 To Put It In A Bigger Envelope To Mail It Out. It Would Be Nice If They Wrote On It Stating "Sending Address Or Send To This Address" That I Wouldn't Mind But Overall It's Great!
Mostly good. Wish you'd offer an option (for a fee of course) to hold mail longer, maybe up to 3 or 4 months.

This is the first time using a mail service and it did take me a while to figure out everything that was offered, as well as how to manage everything. It's probably user error, but I ended up with some unnecessary fees. However, now that I am figuring things out, I'm sure that will improve.

The notary portion is kind of challenging admits Covid, it was cool that they have it virtually but since the Secretary of State is closed its more difficult for me to get ID updated. The notary told me she could take an expired ID, then 1 postal says no and I had to end up sending my Passport. So that part of the process could have been more seamless if the communication between departments were cohesive.

I love ipostal. Very convenient. 2 issue for me which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Sometimes my mail isn't checked in to later in the afternoon so I have to wait the next day to pick it up because the system doesn't always allow same day pick up. Lastly the handheld device they use to check the mail out is very slow and a couple of times had to reboot

Generally, we advise that you use the 'Schedule a Pickup’ feature when you want to pick up mail, whether with the app or from your computer. By doing this in advance, the mail center can get your mail ready ahead of time. That helps the mail center to be more efficient and saves you time.
However, we understand that things happen. If for some reason you can’t schedule a pickup in advance, you can just drop in and the mail center will process the pickup task for you.

Performing as expected. I'm pleased. I haven't had any issues and the service acting as a physical location protects me and my business.

I needed a virtual address and the prices and ease of use was really good
Great service. Just wished I had picked a different location. Those people are a little slow. Takes 10 minutes while talking on cell phones to get my mail. Not very friendly but they get the job done.
I am pleased with the service. But there are two categories which I think need improvement. I have been sent warning emails that my mail was going to be charged extra due to being there over 30 days. This happened twice more than two weeks after I had already picked up the mail.
The other factor is that my name is "J Kent Gidcumb." And the reason it is stated like that is because I go by "Kent." When I receive mail addressed to J it screams lack of personal service.

You should not be charged for mail that was picked up before the free 30 storage period expired. We work closely with our mail centers to ensure a high level of service. We will follow up to make sure that your mail items are processed properly to show they were picked up. We do suggest that you user our Schedule a Pickup feature in the app or online mailbox, as this will create a task that for the mail center to process to ensure the items are marked as picked up.
As far as the naming issue is concerned, you are able to add alternative versions of your name, so that it will match up in our system and your mail can be inserted into your mailbox. We have sent this on to our Customer Service team.

Outside a couple hiccups with monthly charges and how to exchange them everything is fine. I was expecting to have an actual physical box at the office there I could retrieve my mail and packages from when I originally signed up. Like all other businesses that accept mail and charge a monthly fee. It would be convienebt to have a box and be able to access if after hours, like other places.

Since, unlike regular physical mailboxes, we have a record of each piece of mail received, we need to keep a record of when we remove it from your mail folder, whether to forward, discard or hand it to you for a pickup. In addition, by keeping mail in a folder, the number of digital mailbox customers is not limited to the number of physical mailboxes in the store, which has room for only so many.
There are some options that new technology is providing to expand hours when you could pick up mail. It is on our to do list.

All phone and on-site customer service at the mailing facility has been exceptional. I found the original sign up information on the iPostal website misleading on turn around time. The website said approximately 3 days but it actually takes 1-2 days to get a batch of documents consolidated, then another 1-2 days before the selection is available to make a choice about shipping, and then more days before it is mailed.

You would pay twice that much for a PO Box at most post office locations - and that does not come with convenience of getting notified when new mail arrives and the ability to forward mail, scan mail content, discard or shred mail using an app or your computer from anywhere.
We do charge for these optional services due to the labor and time involved. But we chose not to offer ‘free’ services at a higher monthly fee because then customers who don’t use these services subsidize the cost for those that do.

I've only picked up mail once. I scheduled a time to pick up my mail, ehich was available and not blocked off, but when I arrived, no one was there and a sign on the door said at lunch. I called the number listed and the guy said he was in his way back. He arrived 10-15 minutes later and explained he had been super busy and was not able to take a lunch earlier. He was nice and I understand things happen sometimes so hopefully this is not a regular thing.
