I was very nervous sending 30 years of memories through the mail! They handled everything with care. From the safe box they send you to place them, contacting you upon receiving and updating you on the process kept my mind at ease. They took special care of tapes that were very old and were able to still make it work. My family is so happy to have these videos available on the app to watch whenever they please. It was a wonderful Christmas present for my mom!

I had 2 VHS tapes converted and the entire process from delays in sending my iMemories box to me (which I later learned you really don't need) to me downloading the conversions was almost 5 months! Even after I rec'd the shipping box, I had second thoughts about even sending my tapes in. I wish I would have listened to myself and not wasted another $16 for really poor quality VHS to digital conversions. My take-away is to try another service first.

You have a good marketing plan. The pricing was extremely high. It was easy to track the order.
The product is fine. The fact that you charge you monthly service fee to store the materials is crazy.
Its not like you aren't charging enough up front-you have to get more! I have lots of these old movies to get developed and you are forcing me to shop around. So Imemories can be described in one word-Meh!

The processing purchased is based on the labor involved in working hands on with media. This company fails to let customers know that there is a monthly fee associated with the conversion if you don't get the usb drive or download the video/ photos on your own. Video replay is poor at best, system frequently freezes.

Sent VHS videos in 2020 and didn't hear back from Company until 2022. Just glad my videos of family not lost. Got them when I paid for them, but wasn't contacted to pay earlier. Now it seems this is a cloud subscription for accessing videos online, so they are safe.

Unfortunately we cannot know the provided email is a wrong email address. We can definitely provide extra online access if this is helpful. Our subscriptions are optional for long-term access and storage of the media in the cloud. If you do not want to subscribe it is important to back your media up in some other way like downloading (no additional cost) or ordering DVDs/USB drive. I'm still trying to understand why I paid $$$$ to have all my tapes converted but not all of the tapes were actually converted-frustrating. Actually viewing the tapes on the site was easy but trying to save and download my movies has been a difficult process and ended up costing more $$$ and lots of time. A little frustrating

Sending my item to be digitized was easy. Getting it back was a long drawn out process. They changed the way I could pay for my purchase and repeatedly said my credit card wasn't valid when in fact it was. The price was jacked up from what I was originally told. After finally speaking with someone they emailed me the "videos" so I could review them. After a certain amount of time they want you to subscribe to a monthly service. NOPE! I did get back my VHS tape. Definitely not what I expected.

The person I spoke with was nice enough. I chose the easiest way to at least be able to view my videos via email. Definitely not the service I was expecting.

The movies on line look horrible. I don't think my tapes looked that bad. I expected to get my copies sent to me on a thumb drive or something. I didn't expect to have to download it to my computer. Any DVD's I burn from my computer are going to look awful. I originally asked for my VHS tapes to be converted to DVDs. After ordering I found out that is costs alot extra for DVD's. I also didn't know that I was going to have to pay to keep viewing them on line. I have to pay you for storing my movies. I am just not happy at all with my order.

Converting the data to their website worked well. But I want the data on a hard drive so it's mine forever, but it's next to impossible to make this work. I've asked for help with no real resolution. It seems they want you to buy Cloud. I guess I need to pay extra for them to give me MY videos on a thumb drive?!

Very good service however, I feel like it was not clear that you would pay a large sum of money to get your memories converted and then they would charge you monthly in order to keep viewing them? Kind of messed up I paid over $600 dollars and now I am getting notifications that the viewership is going to expire?

But they recovered our VHS wedding tapes and our mini camcorder baby videos. Priceless!

The rep kept emailing each day as she tirelessly searched the warehouse. She really cared.

I’d go back to find her name to sing her praises but I’ll lose everything I just typed to go back to Yahoo mail now since I clicked through your survey email.

Unfortunately the most important tape was not converted. Other converted tapes had horrible quality and it is really hard to watch them.
I think it was just a waste of money
Never again.
I prefer to go to a local business when they can show me first what is on the tapes and I can decide if it worth to convert them.
Two stars for sending my tapes back.

I have been told I can check first if I want to convert them. I told them I don’t have a vcr and they assured me I can see what is there first.

Pillow picture is distorted. I informed the company and was told it was because of the picture. Pictures should be checked beforehand and customers should be informed to make choice to approve the picture with risk or send a new picture. They refused to refund. I'm more than happy to return it.

We were quoted an initial price once we received the package. Included in the package was an additional 25%off coupon.

IMemories contacted us after they reviewed the contents on what we sent them and then quoted us a price. This price was 4 times more than the original quoted price. After going back and forth with them, they adjusted the price without the additional 25% off.

These practices did not instill trust with us, especially with handling some of our most trusted memories. We will unfortunately not be using iMemories in the future.

Very long turnaround time. Charge for everything. All this fees for every step. Spend $100's dollars and still don't have my recording on hand. They charging to keep videos on line, they charge to download to usb or disk they charge for box and expensive shipping fees and turnaround that takes 4 weeks again? Not a happy customer! Stay on hold for 15 minutes now waiting for call back.

The copyright application is disappointing and I would not have used iMemories had I known that your policy was zero tolerance. Perhaps there should be some logic applied to a local newscast that is nearly 30 years old. At some point it becomes historical and not a liability risk, or perhaps have the customer verify in writing that he/she is the legal owner of the material and takes full responsibility for any alleged copyright infringement. Possibly you could hire a third party that would assume liability for checking the tapes and making the call. Also, none of the tapes appear to have been corrected or improved in your process. They look identical to when viewed in the digital camera. I see no difference

After paying over $400 I thought all of the cassettes would be converted to discs or that I would have a much more enhanced digital version. Unless I'm not seeing everything you did with all the videos I sent you I don't understand what I got for what I paid. I'm sorry but I'm being honest.

My experience been all over the place! With me not knowing how this really works and not getting guided by representatives. I spent a lot of money converting all my memories. I am not one computer savvy & didn't know I was Supposed to put my memories in categories. I just wish someone would've guide me better that was the whole purpose of me getting all my CDs and memories in order. The only good thing is that they are convert it into CDs. My cds don't match the cover of my pictures. I wish that your company would've given me a guide how to get them in a better order and category.

All of these old vhs tapes have mold. I assumed they would have ran these through a cleaner. The two tapes that came back clear are the ones I had cleaned myself using a tape cleaning machine with pads and liquid. So I am very disappointed!

I almost feel as if I was a victim of a scam. I'm not technology savvy so didn't understand some of the jargon in the ads. I can't believe that of the videos I sent in there was 5 minutes worth of film on each one. I know they had to be much longer than that. But how do I prove it. Also there's two home movies missing when I got the originals back. If I had gotten back what I thought I was going to get back and could edit it the way I thought I would be able to it would have been way more than worth it. But little snippets from the film rolls here and there, well it's not anywhere near worth what I paid. I would have done more films each month until I got everything transferred over but there's other places that are cheaper and I'm going to look into the other places. Sorry Imemories, I was just very disappointed.

I am very happy with the results, but I am disappointed in the downloading experience. I have been traveling a lot so did not have a chance to download quickly and then when I did I had to pay $7.99 to access my files (per month). I did not feel that the communication was good in letting me know I only had 30 days to download my files that I had paid for!

I was disappointed they were unable to convert pictures of my dead son that were on floppy discs. I know floppy discs are seriously outdated. But one would think iMemories would have an old desktop computer somewhere that they could use to convert floppy discs.
