“IMDb - The Ultimate Movie Buff's Companion”

One-stop shop for all things movies and TV shows? Look no further than IMDb! This platform has it all, from ratings and reviews to cast and crew information, trailers, and more. Whether you're a casual viewer or a die-hard fan, IMDb has something for everyone. IMDb solves the problem of having to scour the internet for information about movies and TV shows. With everything in one place, it's easy to find what you're looking for quickly and efficiently. Plus, the user reviews and ratings help you make informed decisions about what to watch next. Great free resource to use when you need details on a movie or TV show quickly. While IMDb is a great resource, it's not without its flaws. The search function can be a bit finicky at times, and some of the user reviews can be unreliable. However, these are minor issues that don't detract from the overall usefulness of the platform. Overall, IMDb is a must-have tool for any movie or TV show lover. Its vast library of information and user-friendly interface makes it a breeze to use

“I don't understand!”

I wrote a fun review for an episode of "Law & Order: SVU", and I gave it ten stars. My review was rejected. I have no clue why, and they wouldn't tell me. The review had no offensive language or anything questionable. The rejection of my review made me feel bad about myself, as if I'd been reprimanded for misbehaving; and it made me feel as if I was doing something wrong by trying to share my unique, quirky opinion with the world. I got upset and deleted my account with them. If they don't want me around, that's fine. But it's probably not good for business.

On top of rating manipulations, reviews are heavily censored in favor of woke identity politics, which is prevalent in most modern films.

I have been using the site since the year began to review and rate movies, and while it is okay, it does have some problems. One of them being that if you share your opinion on a certain movie (especially if it's a new release), there is a high chance a lot of people will vote your review not helpful, especially if it is a movie they hate for a certain reason (like it's a live action remake of an animated film or it has a political message they don't like). Also, the site does have problems when uploading pictures. Best to steer clear of this one when it comes to posting movie reviews.

I went to this site to write a review and was rebuffed and told by computer that i could not shout in my review (WHAT!) and the entire paragraph was not long enough, granted I have not bothered to write a review in a while (most movies today are not worth it) but IMdb is going way of Amazon (TO FAR!) with the censoring bit. I told them were to get off and posted my review on U TUBE, so there

It is a useful cross-referencing tool, but it is a little too mainstream oriented and flashy for my taste.

The message boards are not in moderation; they have bots, spammers and attention whores crawling on the most popular shows, movies and games and end up with a flood of unnecessary topics. Most message board users are white Anglo-Saxon protestants, anti-Semites and Islamophobics from ages 14 to 16. Jeff Bezos needs to take a look on IMDB's moderation lately. None of IMDB's moderators are taking actions against them. They're very unprofessional. I think this site needs a complete shut down and send Col Needham to court. This may be a good place to look at user reviews, but the message boards are indeed the complete mess. I would not recommend it if you're going to talk to somebody at their message boards. The dumb kids at IMDB think they know movies, but they really don't. I know how to deal with movies since I experienced multimedia in college. If I were you, I would try going on Metacritic for the user reviews. If not, then Rotten Tomatoes may be your last resort.

I have yet to find a website to replace this ill-designed resource for films. It's the first thing that I think to go to when I want to find out who was in what, or what film is that again? There's no easy way to cross-reference actors so winning that Kevin Bacon game takes more work than it should. Additionally, everything about the appearance and organization of IMDB is wrong. There is nothing else that I find useful about it, except that once I almost was able to obtain "MTV's 25 lamest" episode from another user. However that fell through and I continue my life-long search.

Review for Unfriended:

Y'know... Horror has come a long way throughout the years. We've seen old Nosferatu, we've seen Paranormal Activity, we've seen the Purge... There are so many different kinds of horror movies out there. Unfriended can be scary to some, terrifying to some... and it can be "eh" to some and "wtf is this?! This isn't horror!" to some... But! We all have to understand one thing... There are many kinds of horror... Unfriended may be the first of it's kind in portraying horror not as a super ghostie haunting where nothing really happens... but a constant build up... Where instead of a ghost downright being aggressive... but being smart, clever and vindictful. A ghost that is truly out for revenge and not just for the gore. A ghost that tears apart the relationships of those who've wronged her and then proceeds to get rid of them one... by one... by one... by one... and finally... well, you'll just have to see for yourself ;). Fact of the matter is, unfriended is one of it's kind and I would love to see more of this kind of thing in the horror genre. Where you not only fall in love with the characters, but live with them through their moments too... where you're not exploring a large landscape... but being a part of a skype call, or being a part of their lives... in a manner of speaking.

But! I digress... very well done Hollywood. Very well done. Bring us more! Also! If any of you want to live a bit more in the moment... here are their facebooks^.^.

After trying to add this review to impb website, it would not allow me to post unless I "fixed" my spelling errors with whatever it gave me in the dropbox... Including the "spelling errors" in the links. I mean... I tried googling it and apparently noone else has a way to fix this. So! Since imdb apparently can't understand ghosties or vindictful, or understand a link when it sees it... I guess best option is to use Rotten Tomatoes. I hope they fix it soon.
