Most absurd process and experience ever. They will make you go through 100 hoops to "prove" your identity all with the net result of trying to pay your taxes. Does the IRS or Government actually think that a stranger will sign-up to pay someone else's taxes? Maybe instead of using taxpayer dollars to prove your identity so you can pay your taxes, maybe we should use this sort of rigorous, 100 hoops process to prove one's identity to cast a VOTE! Imagine that possibility. It's 3 HOURS I will never get back. Defund ID.me now and put money towards VOTER ID.me now.
Good to verify with identity card and change the address for any future communication therefore ups doesn't have to find my present address.
