It 2 days, 3 people, and over 8 hours to get the photos right. They don't tell you if your pics are acceptable or not. Plus no way to update address for if you moved, etc.

I think this video call is a great way to weed out fraudsters who steal tax dollars from our federal programs. It should be applied to federal voting too.

The whole process felt very secure, but also easy to complete, I had a new account created in 30 minutes. The video call agent was very friendly and helpful.
All was good however if you wear glasses make sure you are completely set up. So when removing them you don't have to read anything just push the button.
Facial recognition part bombed 8 times straight! After I finally got into work, I still have to wait 3-5 days for it to verify with my state employment system!
I was trying to get on ID me and having to upload a photo document of myself. I uploaded my drivers license (which I thought would be acceptable but found out they were not) so I had to take a selfie. They gave me directions on how this was to be done. The directions would have been fine but I was not able to wear my reading glasses so I was not able to read the instructions that they provided and therefore they did not approve my selfie and it appeared on the screen that an error had occurred to which no explanation was given. I never got on the IRS website yesterday to find the information that I was looking for.
Stressful little when I didn't have it completed and wasn't aware decided to just stop and workplace to find out if I needed to do anything more on my part to receive benefits which I have to received yet

People there to help OK but I feel they did not have enough info to really help, I finally got through on the phone and was helped, but online or on my phone the constant requirement for 6 digit codes is daunting, no simple log in and then go to the service needed, every move within requires a 6 digit code to go forward, as far as I am concerned it is to vulnerable to hacking and to many steps to get what you need, I have already been in touch with congressional reps to get it abolished, removed, deleted from all VA systems! This is definitely not a KISS principal KEEP IT SIMPLE SIMON at any level!

Was quick and easy to use, got through the requirements easily. The last time I used IDme was approximately 3 years ago, and it was a complete nightmare. I gave up. I couldn't get through anything, the system kept throwing errors left and right, and it wouldn't recognize any documents, so frustrating. This time wasn't anything like that at all, the process was smooth. What a relief.
This service has gotten better. The customer service was already great, but now it is outstanding and so are the agents. I am still satisfied using ID me.
Effective it was quick and self explanatory. Simple and easy. Really no logic it's your info but the software does not lag or at least it didn't earlier.
