Program was easy to use. This should speed up the process. Appears to keep fraud out of process. Was pretty fast and don't need a computer to start and complete your business with the government.
The automated photo-identification comparison between my real image and my driver license photo did not properly function. The whole "ID. ME" registration process was too complicated, with no understanding shown of what data was recorded, and how that may have differed from my regular Social Security website registration, with its own ID and Password. It should be a check-off process with data that has already accepted being shown on screen, with the ability to "Go--Back" and correct. I found it so complex that I never completed the PIN registration. Maybe another time. This is not a well-organized process, The photo ID comparison with my Driver License photo and my live photo never worked, no matter how much I tried. It never showed any feedback as to how close I was coming to an acceptable image comparison. Nor did it say why it was not acceptable. A lot of wasted effort.

I had tried to sign into ID. Me numerous times for about 6 months with no success. Today "I think" I was successful. Next time I try to sign in I should know for sure (?) if all was successful. To me, the whole complex signing in process is excessive for us old timers, compared to the simple signing in on other sensitive sites such as our banking sites. I hope changing passwords won't be as complex.
From start to finish the process was thorough, and very easy to navigate, uploading documents, multifaceted step verification pass key as well as text message to verify, if you choose. My experience was very enjoyable and not a problem at all and I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to know about ID. Me. I highly recommend it as an extra layer of security for ones identity and information is essential for one's peace of mind.

After I jump through all the hoops and did all the necessary stuff it told me to use the previous tab and click on it. Google does not have a previous tab it logged me out then I was unable to log back in

As a whole? A PITA, avoid as much as possible. Repetitive, time consuming, unknowable staff, suspicion of safeguarding and substituting, etc. Too much hassle in a life filled with problems already, this solves none, adds to them. Why is e- mail needed twice?
