I ready is making kids mind blow up. Whenever we have to do I ready the room fills with groans and mons. Me and my friends have put in an answer like 1.4, and it says it is wrong and when they reveal the answer, are original answer was correct. It told me that 70 divided by 10 = 14 and 710 and 45 have the same value. Also, the kids don't enjoy it lesson because it never is challenging. If you get lucky and learn something new that the teacher teaches us in class in the future, it runs the lesson, and everyone gets so mad. No one, students and teachers included like i - ready.
It's so bad, I want to give you a zero, but that's not possible. So I give you a one. It's so bad, even the teachers hate it. The only reason that we are forced to do it is because the teachers want us to be number one in the district. It's awful. The picture shown is a lesson that straight up sucks. They're easy lessons, it's just that they take between 1-2 hours to complete. 4-5 hours if you want a good grade. The other picture is the pass-to-fail ratio. It also includes the fact that you can work for hours at a time, and still barely pass any lessons. This screenshot was at the beginning of the year so I have passed more lessons. This is ridiculous. The business should be banned from all districts worldwide. It's pitiful.
What the $#*! is this? Im almost in 6th grade and i hate this mother$#*!ing website so much! Its so $#*!ty and horrible i actually cant believe it. First of all, the lessons take forever to finish. Second, the lessons are repetitive and hard. Third of all, whenever i do it, i feel drained and annoyed. I havent used my coins in forever and only have 1000 coins! Its been the whole school year and i should have *******. Khan Academy is a website i used to learn grammar, and its 2763 times better. Overall, it deserves 0 stars. If you are a teacher reading this, please dont. I-Ready sucks.
My child entered school ahead of his grade peers. While he tested grades ahead, this program lags and forces him to do the same repetitive math problems without advancing even though he consistently gets 100%. He also has to endure unfunny characters that attempt to make jokes between problem solving and read the equation before you're allowed to solve it. You can't mute them and it is just painful to sit there when he knows 2+2=4. Let the kid just solve the problem already! I clearly hate iReady and knowing that I can't afford to pull him out of the public school that pays for this disastrous program breaks my heart on the daily. It's also common core based, which is problematic in itself.
Doing the lessons feel like a torture it isn't fun and having to do 45 minutes on each subject just because our school can't afford I ready alone is actually just embarrassing and wild. Don't get me started on the diagnostic it's just a waste of time to know your level but it's alright, I guess. The instructions it gives if you get the answer wrong is so long and not helpful, if you don't know the answer it will just give you animations until they do it for you which takes so much time, delete this app right now nobody likes it just look at the rest of the reviews and you can understand, I ready is so $#*!
Please be advised, never to use it.
I agree with about 100% of the people who hate it. It should be banned from existence. My life as a student would have been nice if it wasn't for that ####### app. Why the hell does this app even exist?
I thought school was boring, but this is even worse. Some of the lessons that I could complete in five minutes in class take thirty minutes to do in I ready. It is a good idea but it just doesn't work out well. I hope I-ready shuts down.
Thank you.
I-ready is literally the worst website ever! The questions take forever to answer because it's so slow, the voices are cringe, you only get like 20 coins for spending FOREVER on a lesson, and the people talk so damn much! Like in the middle of one of my lessons, the stupid little character will pause the whole lesson and lecture me! This app is also rated 1.2 stars and teachers are still making us use it! Not to mention it's also rated 116th for math apps. Please ban I-ready already for the sake of our mental health.
Because of i-ready there are only 5 people in my class. Please help me help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help help
I Ready is the most god awlful, brain decaying, IQ dropping website, probably ever known to mankind. The only thing that I've probably ever learned on I Ready is how to calculate the slope in which my sanity is going down using this piece if crap of a website. That stupid freaking voice sounds like if an AI asked the first draft of an AI to make a math program website using the flames of Hell to power it. I hope those coders and developers burn in the deep depths of Hell where not even Satan himself is allowed, I swear like even the name has improper grammar. I had a wife and kids before that voice finished explaining how to solve flipping 3 times 5. In the end, I Ready is... just no.
Ready to be stressed 24/7? Ready to be staying up until 5 am to do stupid lessons? Well that's what iready is like. The instruction takes forever, the test at the end is just stupid. If you get 2 wrong you have to do EVERYTHING over again because you fail it. I-ready is the worst thing that schools could ever get, and it brings nothing but stress to their students.
I-Ready is super boring to my child because, I think that it does not progress as fast as she does. Also she thinks the voices are really annoying. I think the voices are annoying too. I think that it does not evolve to my child, so thats also a reason I gave it one star. It just moves slowly like its helping a child that does not understand anything, but she is very smart.
It barely helps at all, the math are long, made even longer by the people dialog that can almost always takes a minute, the characters are bad and it doesn't give any happy fealings about learning, I like learning (sometimes) but it feels like an endless chore.
Stupid unnecessary program, I did my homework and, for example, I don't have as many points as they want, they won't consider it as a lesson. But I ask a lot of these "ready" people and they don't teach us anything and we just suffer so much! We need to ban him for it so that no one suffers!
It started when Grace Miller threw her self off of a cliff because of an I-ready lesson. It was Building Sentence Comprehension. Then it was Hana. Then Kaleb. 19 people later and there are only 2 people left. I'm the next to go.
This app is a literal scam, it wastes your time and it is overall 1.2 stars. I-ready is really really bad and is not for learning, the school made me do it and I am infuriated by this. Please, do NOT EVER get this app.
I-ready is so bad first of all the assignments are so long the tutorials take 40 minutes to do also its so stressful to do just one assignment and they are so hard to do the teachers expect you to do 10 every week and it takes so much time some kids have to go to football practice or go places also it doesn't even do the main purpose of it good the math and reading features are horrible the book reading is so boring and only waist more of your time also the characters talk to much and the animations are unnecessary and its math feature is so repetitive and long its takes away time from school i have gone to many of my classes late because i needed 10 assignments done but I-ready should not be used in school (or anywhere).
I agree with 6th grader who also left a comment--it deserves 0 stars. It is too repetitive, and the content being practice and tested is below his current math and reading level. What is the point? It is definitely not adaptive. It makes kids hate homework more than they already do. Furthermore, the content is way too long, and the fact that they do this in school and get it assigned for homework makes for unnecessary screen time. It is a shame that this nonsense is a requirement by the NYC archdiocese.
This app is worst than getting shot in the back of the head for your mental health. I'm in the 7 grade and I want to kill myself. My brother is in the 8 grade and he is punching a wall because the needs to do iready in high school please ban this app and save me and my brothers mental health
I just wanna kill myself because of it I have to do 3 math lessons an 4 reading lessons each week and i'm always late because I have stuff to do (furry mask) and I just can't deal with it I think someone should take i-ready down in fact I have to do i-ready right now by b*#$@. And math takes too long.
Answer: It is a scam. I can confirm that it just wants your money and what you are buying is painfully bad.
Answer: My school made me. If I become a homeschool parent, then there is no way I'm using I-ready to help teach my kid.
Answer: I can share a "success" story when it gets banned, but until then, no.
Answer: Because SOME certain schools are stupid enough to trust a random website without actually investigating if it is useless.
