Worst piece of s**t ever. I wish this web never existed. I hope the Devs step on Lego. Like, the lessons take 5 billion years, and if you get one question wrong on the intro part, Wlc to the rest of you're life. Its yaps for ********************* years. DO NOT USE EVER. THIS SHOULD NOT EXIST. I hope it gets banned. I feel bad for anyone who is forced to use this
Please dont ever use this.
my whole life
Izy's Part A lot of students argue that i-Ready should be banned from schools because they think it is bad. They think it's bad because i-Ready packs a punch on Questionable effectiveness, the stress it causes, the tedious lessons, and the various disappointment. It's understandable that students want it banned now. We view it as a timewasting, ineffective, and deficient EDU tool. Here's a list of the arguments against i-Ready:
Lack of Engagement and Motivation:
So many students find i-Ready lessons repetitive, bland, and disengaging, and if that's happening, then it can lead to boredom, and boredom can cause a lack of motivation and a feeling that learning is a chore rather than an opportunity for growth The stress it causes:
The tasks and the pressure to perform well on i-Ready from their teachers can lead to increased stress to students.
Lack of Learning Space it Provides:
While i-Ready is advertised as a great learning platform and all that good stuff, they could only dream it was like that! It's because the learning experience feels like hell! But in reality, the app is just boring, generic, and has nothing special about it! And doesn't effectively make ends meet for students when it comes to learning. Especially the way that it just baby's you through the lessons acting like you don't know anything about what you're doing in the lessons. It's awkwardly annoying and does not provide any positive results, instead it just yaps all the time through the whole lesson.
Sometimes the babying around is kind of helpful, but most of the time it feels like, "SHUT UP IREADY I DON'T NEED YOU TO DO THE THINKING FOR ME BECAUSE I ACTUALLY HAVE A BRAIN! OTHERWISE I WOULD THINK ELSE!" Time Consumption:
I-Ready lessons can be long and time-consuming, especially taking the fact that an average lesson takes 20 minutes long. It's so tedious and annoying doing a lesson feels like carrying 4 giant 690 pound boulders on your back, being overstimulated, shouted at by monkeys, being waterboarded while sleeping, and having someone throw feces at you all at the same time. Don't be that 1 weird guy who thinks i-Ready is still good in 2025, just don't!
