Hulu

For such a large company, Hulu seriously lacks in customer service. I got paid one day later than payment was due and they suspended the account. When I called to let them know they can take money next day, there was absolutely nothing they would do. When asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told I would have to wait 15 minutes or longer before I could. I was astonished at the way they treat long time customers. This was a first and had never happened before. Complete disappointment.

Buyer beware. Total scam to sign up for Hulu -no ads! Find out later that it only applies to original Hulu shows. All other content has ads. So for the extra upgrade of 15/month, you get practically NOTHING. Tried contacting them multiple times to no avail. Long waits on "live" chat. No response or resolution provided.

The latest update is a disaster, at least for me. No way to give feedback, the website sucks. They have me looking for other options.

This has been occurring for some time. I have checked everything on my end all tests are good, I've contacted HULU assistance to help with the problem many times, and each time they say they fixed it on their end, but low and behold still freezing. For the money, we pay this should not be happening guess it's time to look for a new streaming service. Does anyone else experience this with HULU

Hulu was founded back in 2007 also makes original content, such as Netflix and Amazon. But they backs between the shows are getting irritated

I love their autoplay because it works like it should...with binge watching in mind. I also love their original programming (The Bear). However, it simply cannot make up for subpar Live Guide, the constant "we cannot play that right now", the confusing mess of the LIVE GUIDE design...it's so beyond logical I have to wonder who in the world is programming this $#*! show and is there ANY user testing before the slap it on the app? So POOR I simply can't take it anymore. Going back to YouTube Tv.

I usually don't have too much of a problem with buffering or glitching, but Hulu very often shows the loading bar in the middle of the screen, even when the picture is perfectly clear and never stops to load. It's not that huge of an interruption to watching, but to me, it just serves as a constant reminder that Hulu is a little bit crappy.
Sometimes, I can click anywhere on the screen to play/pause, but sometimes it won't register at all when I click on the screen or even on the play/pause/rewind/fastforward buttons. Sometimes, I can use the spacebar to play/pause, and sometimes hitting the spacebar causes my show to automatically jump ahead TWO episodes. When the spacebar wants to work, I can use the arrow keys to rewind/fastforward, but like I said, it seems to have no rhyme or reason as to when this actually works.
Very often, if I pause my show and open another tab, when I go back to Hulu(even after only a couple minutes of being on another tab), it has my show closed out. It will be on the details page for that show instead, which never has an accurate account for which episodes I have seen and which one I left off on, even if I refresh the page.
The amount/frequency/duration of ads also seems to have no rhyme or reason. I think sometimes it depends on what device or browser I'm streaming it on. Sometimes it shows a 30-second ad every 30 or 45 minutes, but sometimes it will give me a 60- or 75-second ad every 10-15 minutes.

I give it two stars only because I do really like the selection of shows and movies on Hulu, and as much as I hate to say it, these dumb problems don't necessarily make it not worth watching. I would have given three stars for that reason, but I realized that I actually use my mom's account and would likely NEVER pay for Hulu myself.

I don't know a lot about computers or how these streaming sites work, but I've never had any issues like this with Netflix. They are small problems, but they are also kind of ridiculous and make absolutely no sense to me. Get your sh*t together, Hulu.

The price is good but too many ads, they even force you to watch ads to watch a trailer/preview of any content.

Hulu is the epidemy of bait and switch. I dislike the constant interruptions of the commercials. That is not what a paid subscription was supposed to be.

Yes there are ads. No big deal. But the ads are 3x louder than the show. It is so annoying. I have to mute every ad they are so crazy loud!

C'mon HULU – with a approx. Net Worth of $2 billion – I think you can afford to put a TRAILER of the movies on your channel! Oh, and a better description of what the movie really is about!

There are entirely too many commercials. The worst part is the volume is much louder than any movie or show. During a movie, there can be as much as a commercial every 10 to 15 minutes. I do not recommend hulu unless you are getting it strictly for live sports.

The commercials are ridiculously loud! I have to turn the tv to mute when the commercials come on, It is that bad!

I pay for HULU and there is NEVER a Boston Bruins game. VERY VERY VERY FRUSTRATING. I pay extra for these stream services but never the best team in the NHL.

Hulu needs to take a look at Direct TV's ability to rewind and fast forward live tv and emulate it!
Also, when I click on dislike, why would that show ever pop up for consideration again?
I try to dislike al the liberal news and tv shows. Hulu should take those specific dislikes and remove them from my selections.

I have Hulu but will be letting it go. People save your money. There are way too many great apps to watch great programming. I cannot get through a show without the picture breaking up. It's annoying and ruins any show I try to watch. I have tried everything to rectify the problem uninstalling app logging in and out rebooting nothing helps. My Sony 65" is only 2yrs old so it's not the TV, we have very powerful WiFi so that is not the problem. The problem is on Hulus end. You would think that because they take money every month they would provide the service one is promised. CUSTOMER BEWARE GO WITH NETFLIX PRIME HBO SHOWTIME YOUTUBE ANYTHING BUT HULU ITS GARBAGE. Hulu is having an issue with some subscribers using their chromecast. They haven't corrected the issue yet and their is no eta. Since app was purchased thru Apple, they can't credit me for a service that I currently can not use. Doesn't make much sense to me. Either find a way to credit me or fix the issue. This has been on going for weeks now.

Probably going with cable Tv. Hulu keeps refreshing during a program and it gets annoying. I have Cox giga blast and it still refreshes during a program. Get it figured out because you suck!

Put it back the way it was.
Make it easier to navigate to my DVR.

Hulu will charge you if you don't want to watch ads and then still run them! Don't bother to pay extra for no ads because they claim that certain "stations" have the right to run ads and they cannot do anything about it. Ridiculous! You also cannot fast forward through ads if you're watching something on demand.

I used to like Hulu because I could watch all the movies and TV shows that netflix didn't have. Now I can't watch half of anything without upgrading to live tv. I'm not spending $55 a month to watch movies when everyone else charges around $10. At this point I'm better off buying an Amazon firestick and downloading whatever I want to watch.

Hulu was fine. Then it prompted an update. After the update, it skips and buffers constantly. We're never going to update again. Prices go up and quality goes down

Had a problem with buffering on pretty much everything I watched I have tried other streaming services and no problems, hulu did nothing to fix the problem
