“Beware job scam at High-Tech Bridge”

3/22/18

The company High-Tech Bridge (https://htbridge.com, a firm based in Geneva, Switzerland) is posting the same job on its career page and various job boards on a permanent basis. They ask applicants to send their resume to an email address: *******@htbridge.com Then an employee of this company presenting herself as "HR" (in fact she's not) send an email to the applicant to organize a first interview. The first interview takes place during which the interviewer tells the candidate that if the feedback is positive the next step will be a personality test. The next day the applicant receives an email in bad English from the HR rep asking to design and send a business plan (for the next 6 month for High-Tech Bridge business) as part the recruitment process. If the applicant asks questions, he/she is told that this is a test that will be used to select candidates, even though the applicant had been told that a personality test should have taken place. If the applicant decides to design and send his/her business plan, he will never hear again from High-Tech Bridge. If applicants who are a bit more thorough want to get a feedback and contact recruiters or executives of the company, they will receive almost immediately a negative answer for their application. And if the applicant insists, he then receives an email, coming sometimes from the CEO himself, telling her/him that the position had just been fulfilled and this is the reason why she/he received negative answer. The CEO will also assure the candidate that all his data and business plan have been removed and wont be used by the company (something impossible to verify). Of course, when the candidate checks their website days, weeks and months later, the same job is still advertised online and High-Tech Bridge is still taking applications from candidates but most certainly continue to receive free work and free consulting in the form of business plans from unsuspicious applicants. I was one of these naïve applicants and I made the mistake to apply there and send them a business plan that they now can use for free without employing or paying me. This is why I want to warn any other job seeker, professionals on the market. Dont apply there and dont send them any business plan. This is a scam.

They ask applicants to send their resume to an email address: *******@htbridge.com

Then an employee of this company presenting herself as "HR" (in fact she's not) send an email to the applicant to organize a first interview.

The first interview takes place during which the interviewer tells the candidate that if the feedback is positive the next step will be a personality test.
