“Ok”

I recently purchased a Honda vehicle and have been impressed with its performance and reliability. The car handles well, has excellent fuel efficiency, and comes equipped with advanced safety features. While the interior design could be more modern, the overall value for money is undeniable. Honda's reputation for quality engineering and durability is well-deserved.

“Repair shop dishonesty”

I had breaks repaired at Honda of Lisle. They repaired the problem and gave me a green light. 1 week later I returned bc breaks not working. I was told breaks lines all rusted out and further repairs not worth it. What about the 800.00 I paid for the first break job. No answers and no refund. Many letters sent no response. I need to file in small claims but can't do this easily as I am disabled.

After my previous review of my Honda fit 2016 and the fact that these cars are showing painting issues, I did some research and Honda extended warranty on painting for 7 years on Hondas HR-V and Fit from year 2015 to 2018. Guess what? My car had a recall for painting and we called Honda reps in the Dominican R. And they're willing to paint our car for free. Only issue is just we need to take it to Santo Domingo and we would have to star w/o it for several weeks which is kind of difficult.

But at least, they are backing their brand up and this makes me very happy. The recall even says they can refund you money in case you painted it, which was my case, but not sure how to proceed in order to get a refund, would have to keep digging.

Tip for consumers:
when in doubt, just keep digging!!

Honda Fit 2016 - Great gas consumption
January 18th, 2023
• Previous review

We bought an Honda Fit 2016 as a 2nd hand buy and honestly it's just almost like riding a bike in gas consumption. We just love it. We haven't had many mechanical issues and we'll have 3 years with our car, rather than battery and tires, we haven't spend too much on it.
Another great thing is just car value, at least in the DR we're going to be able to sell it at 30% more than what we bought it.
Only thing to complain is just the painting, it was like a very bad painting...update: we painted the car just a couple of weeks ago and the painting is falling apart (in other places that we didn't paint). I was looking at the web and a lot of Fit 2015-17 has the same issue. It looks they didn't put the primer and there's only one coat of painting as it vanishes and you can see the chassis.
They also don't cover this issue which is a shame on Honda as it really looks as a factory defect

I keep getting recall notices for my odyssey. I had it in several years ago for the airbag recall. I guess they didn't get it fixed. I am going to junk my minivan. It is getting too old and it would cost more for repairs than the vehicle is worth.

After many attempts to contact Honda on the gearing of the CTX1300 and the Goldwing
They need to have another gear as in an overdrive as a lot of countries have higher speeds than others.
All we need is to have a chance to tour the world in style.

Improving their cars by developing new technologies for car races. One of the first car makers, which made dynamic valve control possible.

Goes fast, handles well, and torque and breaks nice. Outstanding treatment. Have I mentioned that it's quick? It doesn't like going slow, it gets sort of jerky at low speeds. Tons of components to dress them up are available. I recommend this brand quite highly.

I recoiled from what I saw on my laptop screen, stunned. Saddened. Disappointed. All the emotions a person cycles through when they are betrayed by someone they trust.

I wanted to deny the validity of what I was reading and not be burdened with the truth. Yet there it was, detailed in endless harsh reviews.

The signs were visible, like the clearcoat chipping off the Honda's roof. I pointed this suspected problem out to someone who would be able to confirm or deny. However, my concerns were dismissed and the onus put squarely back on me.

"Its because you didn't clean off the bird $#*! in time," he said.

Eventually, the entire roof had shed its protective coating. I knew it would have taken a freaking pterodactyl sized creature to $#*! off that much clearcoat, but I didn't follow up. It couldn't have possibly been a known defect, right? They would have told me if there was a factory recall instead of my just being a victim a fecal assault?

But then last night happened.

I answered the phone to my daughter's panicked voice.

Daughter: "I need help! I'm trying to turn left on Red Bank and the steering wheel won't turn! HELP!"

Me: "Call the police, I'm on my way."

Daughter: "HELP!"

The phone disconnected. I grabbed my keys.

The police car's flashing lights guided me to exactly where on Red Bank the car's steering went out. Thankfully, she made it into the turn lane and was not stranded mid-turn, vulnerable to oncoming traffic. Thankfully, she was standing safely on the side of the road and not being extracted by the jaws of life or on the road covered with a sheet.

We were both a bit shaken, thankful that such a freak happening ended without injury.

But here's the thing: "Freak happening" my $#*!.

As it happens, the steering lock was caused by a cracked engine block - a known defect. There was a recall in 2010. And the clearcoat thing? Also, a recall. We were notified of neither even though we purchased the car as a Certified Used Car from a dealer and had returned multiple times to the same dealer for service.

Honda, you broke my heart. This was our third Honda purchase, which says a lot since we keep our cars for a long, long time. I trusted you. But you produced a sub-standard product and knowingly didn't do the right thing. Then, you endangered my child, which produces the deepest sense of disgust.

Never again.

I purchased a vehicle and enjoy it. Honda HRV. The only thing I didn't like was the price game of how much do you want to pay for a month. Not telling you how long the bill would last you for. More than five years and it out weighs the true cost of the car. My dealer did not give me a full complementary tank of gas upon pickup. I literally had to stop at the closest gas station on my way home. A year later and no lemons. Well so far.

Honda hrv all weather does excellent in the snow. It gets around and continues where other vehicles can not. Why can't honda roll together honda sensing and all weather? Other car companies have done it. My mother's lexus has both and gets around equally well.

Since the late '60s, I've been on Hondas with gravel, trail & blacktop models. I had other brands (mainly cruisers), but I was disappointed and went back home to Honda. I eventually graduated to the wings after playing in the dirt during my youth. In 1984, I got my first wing right out of the package. Put over 250 K on it and traded it in 1986 on a bright new SEI. Kept the SEI in pristine condition until during a military transfer, a moving company broke her and bought a '95 anniversary version, which I still have today.

We have recently bought the Honda unicorn for 78,000 rupees. Before buying this we have analysed lots and lots of company vehicles but none gets satisfied. But in this unicorn revaluation is available, Offering a mileage of 60kms and also there will be no back pain how long you drive this vehicle.
