I placed an order with this company on Jan 23,2010 and a second order on Jan 24,2010. I recieved a confirmation email for the first one, a cacellation email for the second(with no explanation why it was cancelled) and they charged my credit card for both orders on Jan 24. Made numerous calls(only got a recording) sent 4 emails with no response, and finally sent an email telling them to cancel my whole order on Feb 3. On Feb 6 I received an email stating my order had been shipped, was en route but sent no tracking information. Called Visa, they took the charge off my creditcard, and was told to wait and see what they tried to do next. On Feb 22 I recieved a battered, used shipping envelope with 2 cheesy hawaiian plastic tablecloths and a bag of gaudy balloons, neither of which wereanything close to what I ordered. And the kicker is it came from a place called MyTown Party supplies--who are these people and why does PayPal even allow them to charge people's account? They are scammers for sure. NEVER pay with anything but a credit card for online things----at least you have a dispute system to back you up for bogus charges.

I have disputed the charge with this company. I have not received the products I ordered and am not willing to pay for a product, with priority shipping, that I did not receive. Hometown Celebrations' failure to respond to my email or phone inquiries as to the status of my order is unprofessional and just plain rude. I will never order from your company again and will be sure to let others know how poor their service is.

The products I ordered are for a fundraising event for a non-profit organization and every penny spent counts! As a result of your company's poor service and the non-delivery of my order, I will be forced to purchase these cupcake decorations at a much higher cost which ultimately affects how much money is raised for this already needy organization. Just for the record, I am a volunteer for this organization and not getting any compensation for the time or effort I contribute. The organization was planning to reimburse me for the cost of the cupcake picks but I feel terrible to let them know that the cost I quoted them is actually going to be doubled simply because the company I ordered from has failed to deliver the product I paid for.

Like many others who has posted their review on this site, I usually do research before buying from an online company but it was late on a Saturday night so I didn't, that is a huge regret of mine.

I made it clear via phone and email that I needed the products I ordered by today, November 19th for a fundraising event. Today is the day of the event, and I've haven't received my order or any communication as to the status of my order. The only communication I received was in a form of an email that stated that my ordered was "shipped via UPS Priority". However, there wasn't a tracking number, which should have been a red flag, in body of the email. I waited a couple days for my order to arrive to no avail.

DO NOT buy anything with this company. The money you save isn't worth the frustration.
