This company will take your credit card and auto renew the subscription with your card on file without permission and then refuse to reverse the charges when you've contacted them multiple times telling them you don't use their app. Horrible customer service, horrible business practices, stay away!
STAY AWAY! The free app is Ok but NEVER sign up for the Pro site! It's a total rip off... i used it for 2 years with not one new client gained... then when you try to cancel they won't let you out. They lie and say they send renewal notices but they DONT they are scammers. Stay away! Dont waste your money!
I would like to be able to choose which area/ home type/ price range etc I see on the news section - I look at a variety of property but am mostly interested in specific criteria- the news section is now littered with property I have no real interest in...a bit more flexibility would make this app far more useful!
I email someone about an apt to see. Asking if the apt in jersey city that was for rent takes section 8. That was all that was said in the email. Maida negron emails me back very rudely saying No I'm sorry. Owners live there and they want a person that's employed "
So because I have section 8 I'm unemployed? I actually have 2 job! This msg was very unprofessional. I would never use this company services again
Just saw an outrageous $599 charge on my credit card. I was outraged! I called customer service and they gave me a song and dance about how "I signed up for it last year". This company is crooked in every sense of the word. This company is a scam. Don't waste a penny of your hard earned money on this company!
It's frustrating that there is only a map search and you can't see the town/location unless you click on the picture. It takes more clicks to get 1 piece of information for 1 house when I can see multiple features for multiple houses at once on the Zillow or Realtor.com apps. I don't see how this app could get high scores. It takes longer to search & sort. Also, why can't I save more than 3 zip codes?
I used to LOVE this app and would use it several times a day. However, just recently it changed and will not allow me to see the homes for sale or under contract in my neighborhood anymore. They suddenly won't show, and a house acrid the street is for sale!!!! I have tried to change the filters and nothing changes!! Frustrated
Bugs haven't been worked out. Took a photo of my house from my front yard and the address was for a house down the street. Mkt value doesn't match current market values. Great idea just needs a bit of tweaking to meet expectations.
Not easy to cancel with this company. No cancellation buttons on App or website. The Company Charges your card for every new listing and sold listing without permission. Major hoops to cancel and ultimately it was easier to cancel my card with the bank. One positive aspect is A lot of leads did come through with numbers and emails. Unfortunately, all the leads did not bear any fruit.
Unable to set security alarm when meeting appt. at a coffee shop etc., only when showing property.
Quick search is ok, I really dont use this app much. It's average at best, needs work and more options.
I'm giving this app 2.5 stars. My realtor referred me to this app. It does have listings faster than other apps and accurately reflects whether or not they are still available. However, in order for this app to get 5 stars it needs several improvements. First- I should be able to see my starred homes in a separate favorites list. Only allowing 3 zip codes to be favorites is ludicrous. We should be allowed to enter at least 10. I live in an area where one town can have 7 zip codes. The zipcode limit makes using this app's news feature useless. Additionally not being able to search by square feet is incredibly frustrating. If these two issues were addressed and the interface was made less clunky, this app would deserve 5 stars. As it is now it's a 2.5 at best.
Scam artist! Stay away from this company. I want all of the agents and brokers that have been scammed by this company to come together so we can file a class action lawsuit. They need to be put out of business. Companies like this are bad for our industry. Fraudulent billing, misleading and dishonest.
I'm a real estate broker. It's a great concept, and I use the app (or try to anyway,) but it doesn't work very well in my area (SE Louisiana.) I try to snap all the homes I tour so I will show up as the local expert for buyers. But probably a third of the homes do not show up in their database, and probably another third of them are in the wrong block. So I have to snap the home, and then drive down the street in order to select the correct address from the list. It all makes for a rather frustrating experience. How well it works evidently depends upon where you live!
Don't use this app unless you want to waste your time and money. Customer service is horrible, and the ads you pay for don't guarantee any leads, the one's they do provide never respond to you. The listings and heat map is also inaccurate. I've used it for a couple of month and they charged me on a subscription that I didn't sign up, finally came to the realization that it's a joke for realtors who trust this platform. BTW, give yourself 7-14 days if you need any response from Homesnap, meanwhile your money will be charged While waiting for someone to call with the worst attitude!
After a year of not using the service- I let it time out.
Started getting emails that the card I had last used with them (I had cancelled months earlier due to fraudulent activity) Was being charged by Homesnap. And obviously bouncing. Weeks straight I got emails saying they were trying to charge all kinds of different amounts.
Today on a different card linked to the same capital one account they charged a random fee. Im sure they were hoping I wouldn't notice but I did.
I called. Had the hardest time getting a person. Finally transferred to someone who blamed their payment processor stripe.
Super frustrated.
This ap seems to have a few problems with GPS accuracy. I took a number of pictures, but the response was off by 2 to 10 homes away. A few homes, however, we're spot on. Will keep working with it, but it's somewhat frustrating.
I am a realtor and regularly test new apps for clients. The interface here is almost good. The search default is difficult to override. Text feature will be useful once I can attract a customer into the platform. Otherwise it is duplicative. As for the quality of the data, I do not know how they estimate rentals as they are too high and misleading. I cannot use this to research investments as I don't find it reliable.
Realtors slow to respond to messages. Most houses already in contingent status by the time they are listed. Worse than Zillow and Trulia. Only difference is houses are not yet sold by the time you see them
A number of homes in my neighborhood have been updated and resold since this I downloaded this app years ago. The picture of my house shows mainly my driveway with cars I have not owned in years. The values of the homes don't represent what the homes are selling for.
Living in a neighborhood that can't keep houses on the market, I'm always curious about house values. While out walking my dog I can learn estimated market value by an easy snap of the house. This app is so fun, and pretty darn accurate too!
Answer: DECEPTIVE. They pray on REALTORS and steal from their accounts.
Answer: None that I can think of. All I know is Zillow rips you off and sells your hard-earned leads to the highest bidder.
Answer: Their customer service is amazing! Very easy to reach and troubleshoot.
