A waste of money. These are water shoes. Like the ones for white water rafting.
Poor quality or should I say the same quality as the cheap ones I buy every time I go rafting. Please don't buy to find out for yourself. There is no customer service and no return.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE TRIED TO GET A REFUND FOR SHOES THAT WERE TOO BIG, AFTER BUYING OTHER PAIRS FROM THEM. My request was ignored for months and now they refuse to refund me.

Ordered one pair of shoes Aug 2 and as of today sept 12 I still haven't received them. Called after 2 weeks and was told to email them. So I emailed. 21 emails now back and forth. First it was waiting for pick up then it was still in customs then they weren't sure why it wasn't being picked up then if it hadn't been picked up by Sept 7 I could choose a new order or my money back. Well they won't give me my money back & offered me 5% off a new order and STILL no shoes. Now its waiting on pick up oh nope its in customs oh nope its waiting on pick up. They are literally using the same emails over and over. They are refusing to refund me. Terrible company and worse customer service.
We are sorry that your experience with our service fell short of your expectations. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, it’s invaluable to us. I called to return a pair of shoes that I did not want. I had inadvertently ordered a duplicate pair. After a lengthy conversation, the agent told me my account was credited, but they did not want me to return the shoes. I subsequently received an email instructing me not to return the shoes. Unsurprisingly, there is no credit on my account. The shoes, still unopened, will be donated to charity.
We would like to apologize for the confusion with your return and the credit. It’s unfortunate when things don’t go as planned, especially after a lengthy conversation. Your donation is a wonderful gesture, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your patience, and we’re here to help in any way we can!

I would strongly suggest staying away from this company. First, their return policy requires the purchaser to pay for return shipping. This is regardless of whether they make a mistake re: shipping, or if their shoes sizes do not match actual shoe sizes (I've been a 12 forever, but their 12 was the equivalent of an 11 and was not even a close fit). Second, you know there is something "wrong" when you seek to return them, and they start a negotiation with the customer. I was offered a 30% refund, then they upped it to 50%, and finally they said keep the shoes and we'll charge you $18.50 for "shipping". I kept asking about where do I send the shoes back to, and I could not get a reply. Once I finally threw up my hands and started the process to get a return authorization, turns out it is in North Hills, CA. The shipping was about $12 through the USPS (from TX), so even their "shipping fee" is overstated. I would also stay away from Emily in Customer "Service"... she ignored every question I asked (14 emails back and forth until I gave up), then had the nerve to say they had made very fair offers throughout the process and answered every question! It was almost like a bad SNL skit. I won't ever do business with these folks again, and I'd recommend you avoid them as well.
Impossible to reach anyone in customer service for a return. Sent 3 emails and several calls on hold for over 20 minutes each- Beware.
Hike Footwear ships from China. The exact same shoes can be purchased on other websites for way cheaper.

I to return and followed all their instructions. They denied saying I sent to wrong address. This was the address they provided. I sent to Post Falls, Idaho and they now claim I should have sent to North Hills, CA. No mention of CA in instructions. Total rip off. Never buy from this company. Not only are their products crap, their return policy is worse.
G.P.
We deeply apologize for the issues you've encountered with your return. We completely understand how frustrating it is when things don't go as planned, especially when the instructions aren’t clear. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we’re taking immediate action to ensure the return process is seamless for all customers. We truly appreciate your patience!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! I would give them a zero if possible! I ordered these and not only did they fit poorly, but they are really ugly! I know, some people may not care about the look, but the fit, the material, the design, none were good. On top of that, they advertise that they cover a first return, but tried to convince me by multiple emails to keep the product and get a 50% refund, and then they said I was responsible to cover shipping. So I found a local warehouse of theirs, dropped them off - they weren't set up to give me a receipt so I took a photo of the employee showing him holding the package - and submitted it. It's been over 2 weeks now and haven't heard back. So I reached out and all I've heard is "can you send the file as a pdf" (sent it), then "I can't open it, can you send a screenshot?" (had already sent, but sent again), then "can you send the tracking number?".
We're sorry to hear that your experience with our service wasn't satisfactory. We're committed to making the necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for you and all our customers in the future. Thank you for your feedback and for helping us grow.

Shipping on these shoes from Hike web site takes too long for delivery. Ordered on Dec. 2 and still waiting delivery. For this reason I will never order again. PS you have to pay for return shipping and if you can order on tic toc shop and pay less then half price...
Apologies that your experience with shipping didn’t meet expectations. We’re always working to improve and speed up delivery times, and your feedback is really valuable. While we understand price is an important factor, we hope you’ll consider giving us another try in the future. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we truly appreciate your support!

I ordered the Caspar Pro in size 11/11.5. I received a shoe that when I tried it on was clearly a size 10. The only size label was on the packaging which said 44, presumably the EU size. If you do a search on EU 44 most sources agree that is 10/10.5, but some claim 11/11.5. Regardless, my feet don't lie when my toes are shoved against the front and I can barely put the shoes on. They are NOT an 11! When I contacted them for an exchange, they said that 44 is 11.5 and that they would not provide a free exchange.
We’re truly sorry for the sizing mix-up and the frustration it caused. We understand how disappointing it is when things don’t go as expected, especially when you’ve been excited for your new shoes. We appreciate the details you shared with us about areas where we can improve. This insight will help our business approach the next level.

Ordered 2 pair of shoes on 8/30/2024. They were to small width wise. Exchanged for next size up and again same iss as 1st 2 pair. Requested to return for full refund bit this is the message I was sent:
Hi Jana,
We're really sorry to hear that the replacement pair didn't fit as expected. Unfortunately, once a replacement order has been processed, our system is unable to accept refunds or returns for the original purchase. Thank you for your understanding!

Overpriced water shoes made in China. Only good for swimming or walking on flat surfaces. You will feel every pebble/rock/ uneven terrain you step on. I tried to wear them at work(8.5 hour shift) in a restaurant setting, then came home to horrible foot and calf pain.
You can purchase the same quality made shoes from any Chinese website at a fraction of the.cost.
Save your Money People. ITS A SCAM. HIKE FOOTWEAR STOLE 102.00 From my Pockets that I worked for. Customer Service IS A JOKE. HORRIBLE. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON HIKE FOOTWEAR
Within 12 hours of ordering I tried to cancel the order after reading negative reviews, but no answer after holding X 30 minutes, then X 20 minutes the second time. I got a response from an email and was told to wait until I received them to contact them again. I received cheap rubber water shoes that I paid $60, down from the $200 original price! What a joke! I am not going to send them back to China and spend more money.

Sketchy company. Awful product. Very damaging to feet. Supposed support is not healing or healthy for feet or injury. Refunds are practically nonexistent
Hike's "30-day money back guarantee" is fictitious and shoes are NOT good for plantar fasciitis!
If I could give this zero stars I would. Returns are essentially impossible and they won't refund all of your money. Like others, I had to settle for a 50% 'discount' on the shoes I bought and having to keep them.
At the end of my review, I have copied the crock of bull that they send at the end of their offer to "settle" for 50% refund.
I bought the shoes to consider a different approach to my plantar fasciitis. They claim on the site that they are good for that. That is definitively untrue. I put them on with high hopes and found that I could walk about 100 feet in them before I was in substantial pain. There is NO SUPPORT in the shoes.
Their return policy in fact is beyond absurd.
Here is word for word from their second email to me about returning the shoes:
"If you still want to push with the return request,. Please note that you are responsible for the postage costs according to our return policy. Our manufacturing occurs in multiple locations worldwide, mostly in Europe & Asia. It most likely depends on the shoe and the materials used. Possible high return shipping costs and custom fees may apply.

Can't wear the Hike shoes I ordered on May 27,2024. Emailed them for a RMA number & the return address. They offered a 50% discount. Why would I keep them if they do not offer good foot support? After 6 Emails they sent offers for other shoes or do not reply, but not the info I repeatedly requested.
Ordered May 29, June 3, in transit. Email sent asking about delivery date. Re eived a rather dismissive response. " Our delivery depends on our local courier in this case we don't have any exact date when will it be delivered. Don't worry, we guarantee that your package will be delivered to you.

Charlotte Smith,

Arrived today, June 25. Not impressed in any fashion. Quality poor, shows every bump and bunion on my feet. After reading previous reviews, I will NOT try to return them!
Good luck.
Answer: I had no trouble getting ahold of Hike's CS - but getting a straight answer was another issue all together. I went back and forth with CS in 14 emails before I finally gave up. So I guess their strategy worked. Check out the BBB website for Hike. BBB won't accredit them, and they have 106 complaints regarding returns that are unanswered. BBB rates them an F, which tells you all you might need to know.
Answer: Any Chinese website will have the same quality footwear at a fraction of the price.
