No returns
April 11, 2024

It is terrible doing business with this company. I ordered these shoes for my family. The toes didn't line up with our forefoot & toes. I tried calling, emailing & messaging the company on Facebook well within the 30 day return time. In calling, I tried different times of day. I was on hold at least 30 minutes. I gave up. I tried emailing for return instructions and address as instructed on their website. I finally received a response offering partial refund and still no return address. Now I am stuck with these shoes. There are similar shoes available for a much better price. Boo Hike Footwear.

First Hike Footwear said my order would ship immediately. 45 days later I sent an email to cancel the order and they refused to cancel. Once I received the order and realized the shoes have no sole or arch I tried to return. They do not answer emails, they will rip you off! Best thing you can do is dispute the credit card charge and report them to the Consumer Protection Agency like I did. Spread the word!

I bought several pairs of barefoot shoes for my kids for Christmas. They didn't work out, but when I emailed Hike-Footwear.com on Dec. 28th, they never responded about the return. Nor did they respond to multiple submissions for a return after that, despite their website saying "30 day money back guarantee" if customer pays return shipping. Out $200. Scam!
If I had checked this first, I would have seen the red flags: https://www.scam-detector.com/validator/hike-footwear-com-review/

Soulda Coulda Woulda?

Probably one of the most true old statements ever said is, Hindsight is 20/20 it's always easier to see where you been looking in the rearview mirror so to speak. Sadly, as you can read here on this website concerning Hike-Footwear I should have read the reviews first. Everything looks so good and appeared to be great pair of shoes, but in my Case that never happened. Yes they confirmed the order, they took the money, they gave me a tracking number which showed that there was movement. But nothing showed up. So I began the search to find out where the missing shoes were, and it began. I'm even more puzzling adventure. I went through the process of trying to actually communicate with somebody from the hike, footwear company, but all I got was the opportunity to listen to music on hold, it didn't matter which option I chose the sales or the support option. Either way I just got the recorded music. Everything looked legit, even though recordings were clearly spoken in english. So I determined as others have here reported that this company is just a scam, and that everybody should avoid doing business with them. I Then started searching through My financial records to find where or which account I had used to pay for this transaction, which was there showing that the money had been taken at one point. Thankfully, though today, I can find no record of any transaction with this company so, I'm guessing they just deleted it and gave the money back, Which I say, thank you. I hope everybody else would have the same experience money wise, but I also say, save yourself the frustration and trouble altogether and just avoid doing business with them at all.

Nightmare
March 25, 2024

I ordered 2 pairs of Hike barefoot shoes and haven't received either. What an absolutely awful experience with their customer service team. Dreadful. Months now and no refund. I'd really steer clear.

Hike's "30-day money back guarantee" is fictitious and shoes are NOT good for plantar fasciitis!
If I could give this zero stars I would. Returns are essentially impossible and they won't refund all of your money. Like others, I had to settle for a 50% 'discount' on the shoes I bought and having to keep them.
At the end of my review, I have copied the crock of bull that they send at the end of their offer to "settle" for 50% refund.
I bought the shoes to consider a different approach to my plantar fasciitis. They claim on the site that they are good for that. That is definitively untrue. I put them on with high hopes and found that I could walk about 100 feet in them before I was in substantial pain. There is NO SUPPORT in the shoes.
Their return policy in fact is beyond absurd.
Here is word for word from their second email to me about returning the shoes:
"If you still want to push with the return request,. Please note that you are responsible for the postage costs according to our return policy. Our manufacturing occurs in multiple locations worldwide, mostly in Europe & Asia. It most likely depends on the shoe and the materials used. Possible high return shipping costs and custom fees may apply.
For this order, here's the return warehouse:
Country: China
Province: Zhe Jiang Sheng
City: Ningbo Shi
Address: Dayone Warehouse, Lane 1177, Jianlan Road, Meixu Street, Yinzhou Qu.
Postal code: *******
Tel.: *******1683
Name: WangMaoQin.
The products must be returned undamaged and in their original condition, with their tags attached. The original packaging may have been opened, but only if necessary (e.g., to evaluate whether you like the product or whether it works).
Once shipped out, please send us the following to help you with a refund:.
Courier:
Tracking code:
Tracking link that will show the address, destination, or shipping label."
