I bid on two separate auctions and won coins on both I received my invoice for one auction and received my coins shortly after. Got charged 109 dollars for the coins on the other auction no invoice no coins no emails just look to be out some cash and I'm pissed. I will leave a 1 star review every day until I hear from someone.
This is great site/platform which provides access to multiple online auctions which are reliable and where you can find pretty much anything under the sun.
I am still new to HiBid, but appreciate the ease of search and navigating.
Been waiting over 2 months for an item I "won" and was charged. Messaged the vendor through the information that is available on here and just recently received a response with no expectation on when I will receive my item. Refund apparently isn't an option. Haven't received or heard anything from them ever since.
It's been a good experience with this site. They list a lot of auctions to choose from.
Most auctions are ran well, too many buyers do not inspect the items they are buying, almost everything is used so condition is in the eye of the beholder. I have had very good luck buying and selling with Barnyard auctions in Ottawa, Kansas. But all the local auctioneers have been good, as long as you ask questions and inspect when needed. If an auctioneer refuses to return your call or don't have a inspection time I would be leery.
HiBid's easy to use format makes participating in online auctions both fun and easy. Once you have registered and have a payment source on file, biding on items whether a week in advance or in the last minute is a simplistic process. You can browse nearby auctions or consider taking a leisurely drive to retrieve won lots, as they give the option of searching by both zip code and mileage. HiBid is actually easier than using Ebay and PayPal, as you only have to log into one program to participate. Notifications about you item's status are promptly sent when outbid and contacting the seller with questions is an added option I've had success with previously. Summaries of your purchase and pick-up location are promptly sent upon closure of the auction.
I had called with a question before the auction and left a message as there was no agent to answer my call. NO ONE returned my call. I find that unacceptable
The bidding process was functional. It is important to have lot numbers on items that are to be in an auction. I see another auction that have items I am interested in bidding on but after 18 pages of things listed I saw there were no lot numbers assigned. I tried to scroll through the pages of items and I determined that without lot numbers, it was just too hard to follow when the hour long auction was taking to complete. I will pass on bidding on any further auctions that do not have lots numbers assigned. It is not the way to have a seller market their items
We apologize for the delayed response, Derek, and understand your frustration. It’s disappointing that your call was not returned, and we agree that timely communication is important. Regarding the lack of lot numbers, we understand how challenging it can be to navigate an auction without them. Auctioneers are responsible for ensuring their listings are clear and well-organized, and we encourage you to reach out directly to them for future auctions. If you need assistance or have any further questions, please contact our support team at 844-775-4774, and we can help facilitate communication. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope your future experiences are better!
Most vendors open for a few hours on Saturday to make it easier for those of us who work. Not auction mongers from Richmond hill. The cost of the item and shipping and buyers premium cost as much as retail. Should have read the fine print
We apologize for the delayed response, Francois, and understand your frustration. We recognize how difficult it can be when pickup times are limited to weekdays, especially for those with work commitments. Auctioneers are responsible for their pickup schedules, but we agree that more flexibility would be helpful. We also recommend carefully reviewing auction terms, including shipping and buyers' premiums, before bidding. If you need further assistance or have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support team at 844-775-4774. We appreciate your feedback and hope future experiences are more convenient for you.
I have bid and won some great stuff on Hi-Bid. From washing machine, clothes dryer, freezer. Jewelry and coins to metal detectors. I just got a lawnmower yesterday for a good price. You name it its on here.

Was very simple to use and a good experience. Would recommend it to others
While in the last minutes of my bidding the bidding froze and I was unable to rebuild, and I lost the lir, The auctions continued to pause and finally I stopped bidding,I had planned to spend much more

If you continue to experience these issues, please reach out to us for assistance. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we hope your future auctions go more smoothly.
Great site depending on what you're looking for, can be anything from jewelry, antiques, furniture, toys, etc. Always a wide variety and sometimes good pricing/ bidding, dependent on what you're looking for.
Always fun to shop, the buying part cuts into my allowance, but as is said, you can't take it with you…
Help was very good. First time ordering from the USA. Good help
I expected a fairly prompt notice of my winning bids, along with a paid invoice and instructions for arranging shipping. Auction ended on Thursday and it is now Saturday. No emails. No texts. No phone calls. Crickets. Guess I will have to complain to Customer Service and hope for the best.
We apologize for the delayed response, Pennie, and understand your frustration. Auctioneers are responsible for sending invoices and shipping information, and it’s unfortunate that you haven’t received those yet. We recommend reaching out directly to the auctioneer for clarification on your payment and shipping details. If you're still not getting a response or need assistance, please contact our support team at 844-775-4774, and we’ll help facilitate communication. We appreciate your feedback and hope your issue is resolved promptly.
Bidding was easy, Pickup was easy! Nice folks! Well pleased!
I follow Hibid, far and wide. Yesterday I bought an Item in Newfoundland.
Very pleased
First my fault for not taking a screen shot! But I'm thinking a couple items I bid on did not say X2 as far as the price on multiple items? When I look back it doesn't show any items as X2, or what ever the quantity of the lot is! Second I never got an invoice from HiBid as was stated in my email? Yes I checked my spam
Thanks, easy way to bid!
Website crashed a couple times and would not load right when an item we were bidding on was coming due to sell. Also, wish in all modes there was a show all. Pain to have to scroll and when u loose your place by going in to look at an item. Should go back to where u were in catalogue option
I bid and bid the auction is over and it just says you may have won this item. It has done this about 4x.
I have no idea what's going on. I always thought when it says the auction is over it's over. It doesn't start all over again. I think I won one auction since it said you won but it disappeared and I never heard anything about it. Like I said I am confused.
We apologize for the delayed response, Barbara, and understand your confusion. The "You may have won" message typically appears while the auction is finalizing the results, which can take a little time after the auction ends. Once the auction is officially over, the final results should be updated in your account, and you should receive a notification. We recommend checking your Past Bids section to see the status of your auctions. If you’re still unsure or haven't received confirmation, feel free to contact our support team at 844-775-4774, and we’ll help facilitate communication with the auctioneer. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope your future experiences are clearer!

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.
We apologize for the delayed response, Gary, and understand your frustration. It sounds like there’s been a serious issue with your order, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience. Auctioneers are responsible for sending invoices and fulfilling orders, so we recommend reaching out to them directly to address this issue. If you need help contacting the seller or require further assistance, please feel free to contact our support team at 844-775-4774. We take concerns like yours seriously and will do our best to help resolve this matter as quickly as possible. Thank you for your feedback.
