Hellotech contractors didnt properly installed a TV bracket in my bedroom wall, it fell off and it caused mayor damages to my 65" TV and my wall. On 4 December 2020 my wife had this company through a purchase that i made at Wallmart order#*******464, Hellotech contractors installed a TV bracket mount in my bedroom wall and yesterday it fell off the wall and it caused mayor damages ro my 65" TV and wall, i found out that the bracket didnt got secured to the wall studs the TV bracket mount was only secured just to the sheetrock dry wall. I called Wallmart and Hellotech costumer suport and they told me that the installation is only guarateed for 30 days after Installation. Thats unaceptable the person that installed the TV bracket mount didnt do the job properly, even on the TV bracket mount instructions says that it needs to be secured to the stud on a sheetrock dry wall. We want the installation money back and compensation for the damages caused for that contractors negligence and malpractice period. Im pretty sure that they are insured to Cover this kind of issues. I talk to Hellotech customer service twice about this issue and the phone call keeps cutting off like it seen they dont want to work with me to get to an agreement on this issue.
Best tech in history give him a 10 stars he answered all my questions and mounted my TVs with ease
Hello Greg Steiner,
CEO at HelloTech Inc.
BAD business practices. No value for my time. Only, Sorry we made a mistake.
I called your *******139 number Sunday at 3:57PM Pacific time. I spoke with Hanna. I let her know I needed to have an Internet cable ran into my bedroom inside the wall. I already have internet in the living room.
I asked her if I could have you come on Monday 10/31/22. She said Yes, between 9-11. I confirmed I would be going in late to work to make this appointment and I want to make sure someone would be there during this time. The only reason I asked this question is because she then asked me for a 2nd date? I don't want a 2nd date! I will take a few hours off work tomorrow. She then confirmed. We hung up and I received an email with times between 9am and 11am for tomorrow.
10/31/22 I receive a text requesting dates 2 dates to schedule my appointment. What? I texted them back stating I do have an appointment from 9am -11am today. I then call and speak with Wendy a supervisor with your company. Wendy said she listened to my original phone conversation with Hanna who scheduled my appointment, and she is very sorry she made a mistake. WHAT? Ok I get mistakes happen, But I took off a few hours of work to be here. At the very least I feel you should reschedule this appointment and offer the service for free since you made the mistake. I took off 3-4 hours of work to be here. I have been on the phone for 45 minutes this morning to figure this out with you. Sorry Gina, I can give you 10% off and we apologize for the mistake.
10% off does nothing to cover the amount I am missing at work.
I would like to speak to your supervisor please.
Sorry Gina, I am the supervisor. There is no one above you to speak with about my grievance.
Ok, I will google and figure it out. Thank you for your help, Supervisor Wendy.
A CON designed to sell devices at an inflated price with the offer of an installation service, only for them to back out of the installation at the last minute. I bought a Ring Floodlight Wired Pro with installation on Monday 9th January and was due to have my Ring Floodlight Wired Pro installed on Saturday 14th January. At 8:08 pm on Friday 13th January I had the Hello Tech call me and ask if I had existing wires at the location of the light to connect to. I told him no, that I have an electrical circuit in the garage, but he would need to run a line from the circuit to the location. He told that he is unable to do this and in order for him to install it the wires would need to be at the precise location of the unit, and therefore he won't be coming. Nowhere in the purchase process does this website mention this stipulation. It asks me if I have an existing security system and I indicated 'No' and It allowed me to proceed with the order.I would not have purchased from Hello Tech if it were not for the offered installation service. Now I have to go to a third party electrician to install as the tech also informed me he, and the other installation techs, are not qualified to wire these units in. If it was just a matter of connecting two already existing wires to the unit I I would have bought this from Amazon at a cheaper price and done it myself. This feels like a con to just get me to purchase the light from Hello Tech at an inflated price with the false promise of installation. Furthermore there is no telephone number on the Hello Tech website and the number provided on the Google listing no longer works.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE again (as noted above too)
Atlanta GA, Decatur GA, Norcross GA areas HelloTech did the Opposite of their motto, "HelloTech. Goodbye Frustration."
As a Tech Challenged Senior (and veteran) I need to build a business "relationship" with a GOOD tech assist business.
Yes, PAYING. But, buying into their ongoing 24/7 subscription plan (despite very low budget), and expecting to pay for each visit too, I would think they would be encouraged to mutually work into an ongoing Relationship of business.
The encouraging reviews I read certainly illustrate such a picture could be possible with HelloTech.
But... NO! They don't want to read my order form and communicate to understand the present abd future promise of their money flow nor do they want to simply set that this first visit will be $X for 1 hour shared home visit.
Remember: submitted order form details my planned ongoing business with subscription and what I need to do in the home visit.
Instead, the customer service rep opts to Start our communication with detailing each device which Might receive a few minutes of servicing in the 1 hour (total) visit and start our communication with detailing that each device is a seperate and additional $79 charge.
Certainly, there is no combined immediate and LongTerm value to the business mindset. The idea of business sales through longterm Relationship sales ABSOLUTELY doesn't enter into their modality at all.
Topping all that off, this Business opts to call me on less than their Business phone resulting in me being unable to hear them And having to endure squawking in my ear.
So..., then they call back still on a lesser unhearable painful line and again try to Immediately resume telling me about each dime I must pay. (I could hear bits.)
Would you want to build an ongoing sales Relationship with this?

I signed up for Hello Tech because I am elderly, retired and thought this would be a great service to have for any computer problems. I placed an order last week because my computer was freezing. It would cost $99 On top of the joining fee for Hello Tech to come to my home; I wanted my problem solved. An email stated that a tech would come to my home on July 20,2020 at 9am. No one showed Monday & no one called. Around noon, I finally texted & called To question what happened. The person I talked to said his name was Dex. He said that he would get back to me in an hour; he didn't. I texted again and got a question as a response, do I still want to place the order. I responded absolutely. Today, July 22,2020, I got an email that a tech would be coming on Thursday, July 23 at 2; 30pm. I was ok until I got a phone call, a tech said that he had my name & cell number but was not sent any Paperwork so he can't come on Thursday. I would hear laughter in the background. He advised me to call Hello Tech and tell them he got no paperwork. He said something about the people who schedule are in other countries. Now, I am very irritated. I call Hello Tech and get the same guy, Dex. I tell him the situation and he says he will get someone for Thursday at 2:30as scheduled. I ask if I may talk to a manager & he says he will have one call me in 24 hours. I ask him if there is a manager that I can talk to here in the states & he says he will have a manager call me. I will not renew with Hello Tech. I pay for a year and I only use it once and the process to try and get a tech seems so unorganized and frustrating for me. Will will try someone else.
Devon was amazing. Very quick and professional! I love my TV and how clean everything looks.
He was on time and very respectful. Overall I love that the service was properly done.
Hello Tech gave me the fast- effective results I am always looking for.
Excellent responsive and professional service
Would definitely recommend
Everything was done in a very logical manner and was extremely easy to follow process.
My tech decides not show up and doesn't call. Not mad but will tell people.
They always mess up and never do anything. TARGET STOP DEALING WITH HELLO TECH ITS RUINING YOUR BRAND. Absolutely a scam
Everything was good my tech was very nice and he explain things to me before he was done
Placement was off. I wished the gentleman made sure it was straightened before leaving.
Justin was a big help with setting up multiple screens for my home computer system.
Answer: Don't use hellotech. They can not be trusted. They overcharge. They lie. They are a rip off.
