They sent a projector that was not anywhere near as represented. We returned it in a timely manner and waited patiently for a refund. And waited. And waited.
I just wish I knew who these people were so I could avoid them in the future but who knows, they've probably already set up another scam under a different name.
This is a scam company. Not sure if they actually went out of business or not. Hope so. I ordered a projector in February. When it did not come in 2 weeks I called to cancel, but they had already charged my card. They keep telling me my refund is on its way, but I have never received it. But then again, it has only been a month!
If you buy from these people you are throwing money away. Equipment didn't work, didn't come with promised accessories, had to return and had to pay premium postage to BC Canada. Then I had to contest charges to get my refund even though tracking proved they received it.
Delivery of my projector took about 5 days, just in time for my brother's wedding (what it was used for). I planned to use it myself after the wedding for my home. So far so good. It works as promised and the free accessories saved me a ton as well.
Bought the Pro 9 for classroom for teaching my students. I love the large image (much better than writing on the chalkboard) and I think it helps my students learn better.Other teachers were wondering where I bought the projector from and they might buy a few too. I received the projector a few weeks before and used it since then. Thank you!
We order a projector on Feb 20,2016. We still have not received it. We have called the several times left messages sent emails. I ask for a refund and still have yet to receive anything. It is going on 2 months.
Have been trying to get a returned projector for repair and/or credit for a year now. I think they have blocked my phone number and will not reply to my emails. Keep getting lied to when I do get to talk to someone...!

Received the projector to be used as a Christmas Gift, so had a few weeks to spare. I hope the gift recipient will be happy with the product. The projector was delivered to my house just a few days ago. Tested the projector and it works FANTASTIC in my living room where I plan on making it stay put. Plugged in my audio receiver and sound system, and the results were better than I expected. Just have some questions about some of the buttons on the remote.
The church ordered a projector for this company a year ago. The projector the church ordered wasn't what they sent. We asked for refund, they sent us the paperwork and directions which we followed very closely. We returned the product as directed for our refund. A year later the church still haven't received their refund. We lost can't count how many times we called the company. Every time we called they tell us, we are sending the money. We supposedly have talked to the owner and he said, we will make sure you get your refund. Every time we call we get one excuse after another. The church purchase the projector and lost over $500 in the process. We want our refund. The church did business with them in faith and the church expect the same from them. If we could give them zero stars we would! Stay away!
I ordered the Pro Series 16 projector for our church on February 27,2016. I called HD Projector World on Wednesday March 3,2016 to get a tracking number and was told I would get an email with a tracking number and that the projector had been shipped on Monday, March 1,2016. I called today, March 7,2016 and was told they shipped the projector on Wednesday, March 2,2016 and was sent through regular mail and that there was no tracking number. I was told that i would receive the projector by this Thursday March 10,2016 before noon and somebody would need to be home to sign for it. If it does make it by March 10, I hope the extra bulb, case and ceiling mount comes as promised. I will be home all day March 10... Roger Hall, *******404, Joplin, MO.
Projector board dies after 14 months
Sent for repair. 3 months ago. Lies and delays. Said they have shipped twice. Never arrives. Credit card charged. Refund to be credit. None received. Fraud!
6 month later James repeatedly commits to reimbursement chequers and never follows thorough.
The warranty expires after 12 months (1 year).
Any company, be it Epson, Sony, or other projector companies, do not provide warranty help after the warranty expires.

Ordered a projector on December 10th 2015. Product arrived after Christmas and was not up to the standard I needed. Also non of the free stuff was included. Contact HDProjector World to get RMa number which I eventually got and sent projector back to address provided. I waited 2 weeks to see if had been received and if my refund was coming back to my credit card. Told the projector return report had not arrived and this location yet so not refund. I had put tracking and signature required on package when I sent it back so I knew it has been received. I was told to call the following week. After 3 more calls a week apart it was finally acknowledged that my projector had be return and my refund would be processed. 2 weeks later still no refund so I called again and was told my refund would be processed. This time I was promised a email stating the refund was being processed. No got the email
Later that day. Still now 3 weeks have passed and no refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
THEY ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! DON'T BUY FROM THEM. The product I ordered took twice as long to arrive as stated, and took several phone calls and emails just to get it. Upon arrival it did not work well so I tried to return the defective product and requested an RMA. Their email response on 4/5/16 was "unfortunately our business will close our doors within a few weeks." However, their website is still selling and promoting products with no reference to closing. I believe they are just scammers selling inferior products.
I purchased a projector on February 22nd. The company charged my credit card that day. Today is March 24th and I'm still waiting for my merchandise!
Does anyone ever receive the products they purchase? The company sure is fast to take the money!
UPDATE: Right before posting this review I sent HDPROJECTORWORLD an email cancelling my order and threatening to contact my credit card company to dispute the claim and also plaster reviews all over the internet. I did contact my credit card company and obviously I posted the bad review.
That day the owner sent me an email stating he was now taking over the order/problem, my order would be cancelled and my account would be credited. I watched my account for the credit and much to my surprise the full amount was credited back to my account on 3/29/2016.
While I still would never do business with this company again; I am happy with the final response and credit to my account.
I ordered a Pro Series 10. Not expensive but worth a try. Company advertised it came with a case and ceiling mount bracket. It did not. Neither did it come with instructions nor a link to an instruction page on their website. I plugged the unit in, turned it on and found it would not work for the presentations I needed to make. I got an RMA and immediately returned the projector. I tracked the shipment and know they received but had to send an e-mail to ask for the refund. I got a return e-mail acknowledging receipt of the projector with a request to allow them several days to inspect. What the hell? It took me 45 seconds to evaluate and my return shipping package was better than their original packaging! It's been over a week and still no refund. I do not believe they make their own projectors. The one I got looked like a Made in China unit with labels removed. I know some folks are happy with their projectors but their web site "list price" is totally fabricated, so buyer beware!

Took about two weeks to receive product after them saying they sent the package twice via Priority Mail. Completely ignores certain questions asked. Wouldn't provide a tracking number, and when the package finally came, it had a tracking number and it turns out they never even shipped it until a couple days after they said they sent it out. On top of that, the projector is beyond crappy. HD Projector World is a terrible company.
