I like Harry's. Super affordable and great design. Blades stay sharp for a long time. Only have a 4-star because as far as comfort and blade longevity, Gillette still leads the industry. I'm not sure why harry's doesn't feel as comfortable shaving compared to Gillette. Maybe it's the decades of refinement and fine-tuning blade angles, but Gillette is on top in my opinion. If it's just about value and convenience, Harry's takes the gold... hands down.
The picture is of the newest handle I received in my $5 mystery box I bought. I wasn't impressed with the quality. Seems to be going downhill or I got a bad handle. The blade head snaps on but not securely to the handle and that bit of wiggle is enough to reduce the efficiency of the shave. I still have one of the original Truman handles (navy blue smooth plastic with no rubber grip) and that handle holds the blades securely with no wiggle. Rubberized handles are nice when shaving in the shower, but I still use my old blue handle.
I use these blades to shave my head daily. I know that Harry's is working on a blade specific to heads, but they work well for me. Great value for the money
The blades I receive from Harry's regularly(without the fuss of ordering) are of an amazing quality. Although at my age I don't shave every day, I rarely change blades more often than once a month. And then it's only because I feel a need to keep them in business.
In our regular Harry's delivery, we ordered some great bar soap for the first time. "Stone" was winner among the guys in our household! We will order again!

I have 2 men in my family. Both named Harry. When my 15 year old Harry needed to start to shave I decided to gift him these razors over 2 years ago. Then dad Harry took a shave with one of our sons razors and now they both are forever in love with Harry's gels, foams and such.
I've been using Harry's product for well over a year and am completely satisfied with the razors and blades. Previously I was using Gillette Fusion razor with the 5 blades. While the Gillette blades gave a smoother shave for the first 2 or 3 uses, the Harry's blades lasted much longer. I did find that by using Harry's shaving gel Harry's shaves rivaled that of Gillette in smoothest. Savings were considerable.
The metal handles razor handle that I order a few months back, I do not like it. It doesn't have the same size of grip that the other razor handles have. I am disappointed in it and it cost a lot more. I like everything else that you have.

The Harry's razor is wonderful it's an easy to use ergonomic handle and the heads are easily changed. The shave is very close and comfortable!

Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.
Answer: Absolutely! There are lots of women who use our razors so we'd definitely encourage you to give them a try.
Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
