Harry's products are wonderful and always impressed by there ease of ordering. I will never go back to big box store brands that don't hold up to there name.
Over the last two years, I've tried and regularly used several grooming products by Harrys, including the face wash -- which is a gentle and mint-scented mild scrub -- and the post-shave products (the balm, which is oily but soothing, and the mist, which is refreshing and leaves your skin dry with a pleasant eucaliptus scent.
I have also tried the razors, and they don't work for me as well as the grooming products.
Harrys products are not expensive and they're fun to use as they're practical and all have a really pleasant scent. I'm very happy with Harrys and I hope they'll keep expanding their line.
I love the razors, the convenience and the no hassle. Honestly I forgot I even have a subscription because my hubby opens the package for us whenever it comes and we are able to smoothly and seamlessly keep our bathroom stocked.
I've used DSC in the past and where they also have their perks, I prefer the look of Harry's razors and the closeness I get. They are sharp enough for my woolly mammoth hubby's back but then also gentle enough for my lady bits. I would(and have) reccomend Harry's to ANYONE who shaves anything.
I definitely get a closer shave with Harry's! And I don't run through the number of blades as I did with other razors. Last but not least, I'm paying less! How can you go wrong?!
I have been using Harry's Razor Blades for almost ten years... I can shave with one blade for over a month at a time. It is amazing! The cost of the blades is high however it is still more cost effective than any other blade system. I've long been appalled by the state of cartridge razors. Not only are they absurdly expensive, they also are strangely designed and marketed. It's like the entire razor industry decided that razors should be associated with lightning fast speed and futuristic design. Razors are named "Mach 3," "Fusion," and "Turbo," and they look more like the spaceships from a Sci-Fi show than grooming instruments.
Not to mention, would-be shavers are faced with the lose-lose dilemma of choosing between incredibly expensive cartridges that offer a good shave and affordable cartridges that will shred your face. Empty wallet or hacked up face— take your pick.
Anyway, I digress. The point is, most cartridge razors are ugly and a terrible value. It's time someone brought some class and affordability back to cartridge razors.
That's why I was so intrigued when I saw Harry's razors. Harry's seems to have grasped the above crisis of cartridge razors, and they are dedicated to making cartridge razors attractive and affordable again. I decided to give them a try and share my findings with you.
Harry's blades are suitable for a completely clean shave, however for a French Beard, under the nose shaving, these blades do not maneuver well? I still have use additional comptiter blades To shape up? These blades are to wide and not sleek, my opinion.
Super product no shopping needed (no masks). I found that it was easier than going out to the store, fighting traffic, rude people and all the other issues.
I used to use Gilette for years and i would stretch each blade as far as could because I hated getting ripped of at the store. So finally I apply for a Harrys trail offer and loved the razor. I have been using Harrys now for about 1yr. The weight of the handle and quality of the razor is very nice in the hand because I shave my entire head and face daily. Fantastic product and fantastic shave foam. Can't wait to try more of the products
Great product and im a sucker for Marketing.
I started a subscription on harrys.com. I have very thick facial hair i have to shave everyday. I have noticed the guys complaining are the ones that have peach fuzz and are terrified of cuting themselves. I have been shaving since the 7th grade. Its awesome to have different options the other brand just got too damn expensive.
Thank you, Caliman! We're very happy to hear you are pleased.
Was a Mach 3 user for YEARS, then got a Harry's starter kit as a gift: Best blades, best razor and their post shave balm is a keeper too. Online ordering is convenient & reliable; ther're a cool company to deal with.
I am not having as successful a shave with the new-generation blades as I did with your originals. Maybe it is the design of the blade system. The razor itself is probably okay. The problem area for me is right under my nose. It is tough to maneuver, and I end up with a sensitive, raw area under my nose. A coworker who also uses Harry's blades has commented on that, too, and would prefer the original blade system. I do use the Harry's gel and the aftershave balm and like them both. I would give the original model blade Five Stars, but I am having trouble with the new model, hence the Three Stars.
Might be a silly question, but are you using the new trimmer blade? If not, this article might be of some use: http://bit.ly/2eCZQ1X!
For several years I have enjoyed the products and services I have received and continue to receive from Harry's. I strongly hope that the acquisition by Schick does not alter the way Harry's products are conceived, produced and distributed to it's subscribers on line.
Harry's has revolutionized the shaving experience. From customer service, to personal delivery, to your great pricing; I will never shave with any other product but Harry's again.
I have always jumped back and forth between razors but since my wife signed me up for Harry's razors I'm good. They are dependable, sleek and efficient.
Every time I call Harry's Customer Service Department I get the best service I have ever received. They are always very knowledgable about all their products. I even ask them about the proposed merger between Harry's and Gillette and they did not hesitate to tell me why the merger didn't take place.
Tried the trial based on Steve "Dorky" Fifer from The Fan on the Milwaukee radio's recommendation. Touted that they were great... Not the case. Made it sound like they were only available online... Again not the case. They are available at Target. Didn't like anything about the trial. Used the trial for a week. My generic Target brand shave gel is better than the Harry's brand. I didn't feel as though I got a close shave. It felt like I had stubble early in the day. Wound up with nicks almost every day between my lower lip and chin. The shave balm made my face feel dry, somewhat tacky and tight. Save the $3 and stick with what you've got.
I shave everything but my eyebrows and eye lashes, and blend my own shaving oil. No soap of any kind is involved during the actual shave, just the pre-shave, and my shaving life is grand.
The blades work great especially in combination with the all metal Winston handle that I ordered. I have a copy of the Truman (2nd best), and two of the Winston, one is all metal (best) and the other has some rubber components (3rd best).
When I began using Harrys razor blades several years ago I found them of equal quality to the Gillette blades I have been using for over 50 years - with the exception that Harrys blades lacked a trimmer.
Because Harrys blades now come with a trimmer I purchased an eight pack in March of this year, and I use the first blade about a month ago resulting in cuts on my face that had - in my memory - never happened with Gillette products. Thinking I might have picked a bad blade out of the eight, I selected another one and the same thing happened again - cuts and bleeding. When I tried returning the blades to my local Target store they said they couldnt take them back due to the duration of the purchase. My advice is to steer clear of Harrys blades with tremors.
Herbert, we're sorry to hear about your experience. We would be happy to take care of you. Please send us a private message.
I don't have a thick beard, but going with Harry's allows me to always have a smooth shaving experience, new blades ensure that. The price is way lower than buying packs of blades at the store.
I've been using the Harry razors for about one year. They are the best razors I have ever used. I get a smoothe comfortable shave every time and I don't get the nicks and cuts that I would proviously get with the razors from the store. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good clean shave.
Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.
Answer: Absolutely! There are lots of women who use our razors so we'd definitely encourage you to give them a try.
Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!

Harry's has a rating of 2.8 stars from 2,923 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Harry's most frequently mention gillette fusion, poor quality and facial hair. Harry's ranks 1st among Shaving sites.
Sorry to hear that you've had some difficulty with our Blades, Girish! We wanted to let you know our precision trimmer was designed to help you reach those hard to reach areas, such as under your nose and the lines of your side burns. To use it, simply turn the razor around so that the 5 blades are facing away from you, and bring the trimmer (which is a single blade on top of the cartridge) up to your hair. You should notice as soon as the blade reaches your hair, and that's the sweet spot! Try out some different angles during your first few shaves to find which one works best for you!
All the best,
The Harry's Customer Experience Team
